Linked Events [Phile/Soki Tsurinai]

After Shi escaped the ice walls, she would find herself moving around the courtyard, trying to avoid any conflict that might be happening anywhere. Her search for Soki was mostly important here, and getting caught in something else would just be bothersome. For now she would check the front area of the tower, assuming she might want to get as far away from the back as possible. It was a start but she was going to find the original Soki soon enough, then she was going to request something from Tomoe, something that she needed to do for her own personal development. Of course she'd be useless to everyone here as an attendant, but the more she held onto a persona that symbolized her attachment to a god she didn't care about, she grew disgusted in herself. Nevertheless, the search was on and she was ready for this series of events to take place.

After looking for what seemed like forever, Shi stopped at a sight of her, moving slowly closer as to not scare her. Once she was a few meters away from her, she'd clear her throat and speak. "Tsurinai Soki correct? You may not know me, but in a way I do know you." Once it looked like the woman wasn't going to run in fear, the attendant would move closer. "You see, I knew the shadow that replaced you after you were trapped in Limbo, a good person she was. I actually came here looking for her, but was left with the person she replaced, Which doesn't bother me as much." She felt her face crack a small smile, this being the first time she did this since arriving at the tower. "Look at me, forgetting my introduction. My name is Shi, and I used to be an associate of your replacement, but now that she's gone I'm sadly working under someone else." Crossing her arms over her chest, she'd make sure that she was watchful for anything Soki might do, she didn't know what this woman was capable of. "I honestly would just like to talk to you, and in return I can make sure you don't have to go back to that basement again. I also have someone who needs to talk to you about some important matters, and I'm sure you must be a busy woman but if you would please spare your time for this, it's important if we want to become successful in climbing this tower." It wasn't subtle, and it wasn't brief, but she had to say something to her.

Jin finally arrived to see the leader had finally stopped in her tracks. Did they already find that rude girl this quickly? They were still in the Courtyard, so it calls to logic that Shi wouldn't have strayed from too far at least. But there was someone else, another woman. It was that same lady from earlier. Interestingly enough, she gave both Shi and Tomoe an autograph of sorts.

Either she was really someone famous that Jin didn't know enough about or was that full of herself. He crossed his arms and walked closer towards the group, at least close enough to be behind Tomoe. He waved at Soki, maybe she remembered him.

Jin stared at Soki, dumbfounded. They only met just recently and they didn't even exchange names either. This poor girl, maybe she was just tired. She definitely looked like the part in the case. Or perhaps her memory was poor?

"We've actually never introduced ourselves when we first met just a while ago tonight," he spoke plainly.


It would be sort of an awkward moment here. But, he gestured Soki to simply focus on Tomoe instead to at least save some face and to break the ice.

Daiki rummaged through his possessions and tried to find what he was looking for. This was a strange deal to make, given the nature of this mission. What did she need Vc for, anyway? Whatever it was, it was none of Daiki’s business and he didn’t really have a use for the stuff. He very rarely even thought about what he did carry on him. He finally found it all though and held it out to the woman, “5,000Vc. Count it if you don’t trust me.” It was a little more than half of what he had, but they needed her services more than he needed this stuff.

He didn’t like the other part of the deal, however. Why someone’s life? Sure, it was her own, but that didn’t mean she should barter with it so easily. There were things in this world one did not mess with. Life was one of them. Still… He didn’t really have a say in the matter, did he?

Despite the awkwardness of it all, Mir was able to pull through and get to the meat of the matter. Jin wasn't exactly entire sure what this Soki Tsurinai could offer to them, but if she was here, then she clearly is connected to the tower. But what kind of services could she offer to them?

He crossed his arms as the negotiation began. It seemed very smooth. Too smooth, for his tastes. The former teacher furrowed his brows together in skepticism. Nearly about five thousand Vc and to submit one's fate to another, the latter was clearly a hefty price of sorts. They didn't even know if they could trust her or not. Or at least, he didn't know if he could trust her.

"Miss Tsurinai, was it? Would it be too late if I took her place instead?" Jin inquired of this supposed "scientist" of sorts, "It doesn't sit well with me that the youth should put their lives on the line at their own expense while their elders sit by."

He was pretty sure that someone like Mir had something to live for and much to live up to. She was young and he was old. Jin was withering and not of much use. It should come to reason that he should make this sacrifice, after all.

"My name is Jin. Let's begin with this. What form of involvement did you have with this tower? Or its occupants such as Yachiru?"
