"Hmmm..." Charles frowned. This was the first he heard of the supposed end of the world, although wasn't it that the Primordials were evil and wanted to just destroy everything? Maybe Sharaku was telling Joshua about that. And the Angels want to remake the world, that's why each of the Angels has some sort of a wish and requires the followers to abide by said wish.

Well, golly, Charles hadn't noticed, but he was slowly waking up, now that the conversation has gotten a bit more interesting. He would most likely come to curse that later, but for now, he was content, because, like it was previously stated, it hadn't yet registered in his head that he was waking up. In any case, he couldn't tell Joshua the details, no way. The android had just confirmed that the boy most likely didn't posses a Persona nor any other supernatural powers, so mentioning anything to him could end problematically. What he could do was confirm that something strange was indeed going on in San Malarus. Maybe that would scare this guy away or something.

"I know a lot," He began slowly. "...but I'm not sure if I can tell you everything. For now, will it be enough if I confirmed your suspicions? I mean, about something strange going on."

Joshua blankly blinked at Charles for a moment and then he felt a little bit irritated. What's with all these people saying they can't say anything much? It's really starting to make him mad, but he really can't show it. At least, not yet.

"Damn. Well, sure. I guess that's good enough," he relented with a sigh.

Somehow, he'll have to get to the bottom of this. Even though this is probably going to be freaky at the end.

"So uh... what's this end of the world thing about? Is there like a cult in this region? It sounds like it."

"A cult? No, there's no cult... at least I hope." Charles smirked at the boy, flashing his teeth. If he was gonna continue questioning, Charles would answer, but not without having some fun in the process. "Or, I suppose you could call them cults." He added nonschalantly, stretching his smirk as he stared at the boy on the other side of the bench.

"What do you know about Angels?" The android answered with a question of his own, still smiling maliciously. Joshua would have to learn the hard way not to disturb a sleeping android.

Alright, he's being just as ambiguous as the others. This was getting annoying now. So Joshua didn't really broach on that topic at least on that point. But now, he was talking about angels. What did they have t do with anything? Wait, is this part of this cult shit going on?

"Err. Nothing at all. Unless you're asking me what an angel means."

"Well, I asked because the whole end of the wolrd thing you've been mentioning has something to do with these Angels, obviously." Charles shrugged, crossing his arms as he continued sitting on the bench.

"Look, I'd gladly tell you more but I really can't." He gave the other a serious look. "It's not something you normal humans should be involved with. Unless, well, the end of the world happens, because that would involve all of us." He sighed, just wanting to end this and go back to sleep. "In any case, just let it go for now, okay? If you were meant to know, then you will end up knowing eventually, that's how things are."

So even Charles didn't feel like telling him anything. When will anyone ever let him on the secret? Maybe no one will and maybe it's really just better to mind his own business and just do what he needs to do than getting involved in something.

"I guess you're right. Well, that's all I gotta say. So I'll let you sleep now or whatever you want to do. See ya."

He left.

"Alright, alright." Charles said, sighing as he watched Joshua take his leave. He carrassed the thought of finally being able to get some rest, bathe in the glory of a sensational dream which would prepare him for tomorrow, finally ending his own suffering...

But, when he tried to lay down, the android realized that he was wide awake now.

-Charles spent the next couple of days cursing the chance meeting with Joshua...

...also, he left the scene.
