The Interdimensional Coliseum
-Welcome one, welcome all, to the greatest hit so far in gaming, a true-to-the-term VR Game is finally here!Purpose
The Interdimensional Coliseum, as its title suggests, is a fighting arena meant to be used for practice of PvP and as a main hub for anyone looking to just have a fun fight. In this mode, people can test out whatever builds they like as long as they conform to the rules, and can try out characters in battle as they would like freely, no strings attached! This also functions as the main PvP tutorial hub, as it offers training with NPCs of your choice for you to brush up on your skills or simply have a fun time challenging, your call.
Setting
Though this part has no real plot, the Interdimensional Coliseum is, for all intents and purposes, a fighting VR game and can be interpreted as such in RP fights played within it, without trouble. It was created as a game and its main operator and admin is also a fighter, Raki. The game has many areas, or stages, to pick from, which vary from just plain for an uninhibited training experience, to gimmicky for those that want to try out rougher terrain. Aside from that, the world in it is static, as it is a game, and it's supposed to be used simply as a hub for fighting, not to truly understand what the game has to say.
Rules/Suggestions
While there aren't too many rules in this mode, we do ask some courtesy from members who decide to use it, as they are explained below:
-If you wish to train with a NPC or simply challenge them, please inform Raki ahead of time and start the thread, as you would anyone else.
-Character builds are suggested to be played in legal site variants and we do appreciate if no-one goes overboard with their stats. Please try to keep stats from participant to participant fair, though we don't mind if someone just wants a challenge against someone that is stronger than them.
-If you wish to train using your pre-made character here, you can do so, but be warned, as the experiences they have in the simulator are not in any way affecting them IC, as this is a completely separate area. We also accept chars made to be tested out here, if one so wishes to make them.
-There are a total of eight stages available to play in as of yet but, if people wish it, we do accept requests for more stages to be added, if a decent enough application and interest is submitted. If someone just has an idea of what could fit, no worries, as the Arena Master can and will expand upon the idea to make it fit the game.
-As a fair warning, if we do notice any sort of God modding in a thread made here, we can and most likely will warn the person not to do so at first, but can result in some repercussions for them if they choose to persist, but I trust you all to not be cheap like that, so I'm sure this won't happen.
Final Words
As you read above, this is simply an OoC thing to have on the site, and it's mainly going to be used for when people just can't train ICly or when they want to try out something new and wish to keep a permanent record of it. As a bonus, this area can and eventually may be used by staff to organize tournaments for prizes to be given to your characters, or for special events that involve PvP. These, of course, won't be going on right away, but you might want to look out for that. With that said, I wish you all a fun experience in the Coliseum, and I hope you enjoy the areas I have prepared for you.
