A Grudge Against the Sand (Jack)

It started with a something random, this situation that was about to occur. See, Sky had been celebrating rather than mourning the fact that the school had been buried under sand. She kind of figure her little adventure with that guy in the desert had something to do with it. After all, things had turned pretty wonky on the other side and forced them to flee and now the school was a sandbox. It was hilarious and even more fun to watch people scramble to get away from said sand. It was such a comical event that she had to get a drink to celebrate, so what did she do?

She went to the store, sweet talked the clerk into letting her have two boxes of bottled beers, and then shuffled out into the middle of no where to get sloshed with some less than desirable company for most. they were her "friends" so to speak and they just happened to live under a bridge. So she drank her one, two, three bottles of beer and was working on her fourth one when she decided to go online to see what sort of “whine” she could find to make this day perfect.

When she stumble upon that thread with the strange power ranger avatar, she couldn’t help, but respond to it. At first, she did it as a joke just to see what whoever on the otherside did, but the more she typed the more her mind began to settle in that drunkness as she realized that the sand actually had taken her bed and some other important stuff. Peeved as the realization hit her like a wrecking ball, the joke became serious and so she had asked the guy on the other side to meet her at the school if he was truly serious about getting his stuff back. Whether or not he showed up, Sky would show up at the gate of the school looking over the place with drowsy eyes as she stood perfectly balanced on her high heels despite being still full of alcohol. She didn’t expect the guy or girl or it to show up really, but she was dead serious about unearthing her stuff from the sand. No one was allowed to steal from her, not even supernatural sand, yo!

Was she being logic? No. But then again she didn’t really care what was logical in that drunken state. She just wanted to get her crap back. End of story.

"Go Go Go! Go Go Go! Ready! GO!" The sound of slightly off singing rang over the sand dunes along with the rattling of a rather worn out engine. The sound would start out far away but slowly get closer. "Go forward, Boukenger! Across the seas, the skies, the valleys, and the deserts!" A broken down and junky Jeep would crest over a near by sand dune, carrying behind it a wagon filled with various digging tools and exploration equipment. Two men sat side by side in the front seats. "No escaping! No losing! No crying! Burning adventure!" The Jeep would pull up to where Sky was standing and grind to a halt in front of her. "Aim for the ends of the Earth, Boukenger!"

The older of the two would get out of the jeep and start unloading the tools from the wagon "No no no! I'm tellin ya this is more like Gokaiger! Cus yer looking for buried Treasure! Eh what ever... YO! You The one we meeting with to get our shit back? Im Mr.Oliver, The school's janitor."

The younger would scoff and turn towards Sky with a smile"Yo! I'm SnarkySentai... are you the one I'm here to meet? Huh.. thought you'd look different... Oh well! Ready to start diggen!?"

Sky remained in her position at the gate looking over the school with a foggy mind as she shifted lightly in her drunken state. This was stupid really. The school being locked down because of a bit of sand….okay maybe it was a lot of sand, but it wasn’t like you had to swim in it or anything and the heat could be dealt with various ways. Just fix the damn school rules on dress wear and bam! What to complain about, huh?

“Bunch of worthless piles of flesh,” Sky mumbled to herself as she remained in her drunken state staring at the school with a mix of hate and joy. This place needed to be cleaned out, so she was happy for what had occurred. Too bad she had gotten too carried away with early celebrations and now had to come back for her stuff. A collector’s bad habit perhaps, but she didn’t care. She was greedy like that.

The only problem now was that the school was on lock down and outside of climbing the fence there wasn’t much of a way in. On top of that, because she was such a good deal keeper, she was waiting for some wanna be helper she met on the net. Tch! She should’ve just came here herself…but then again what was the fun of going in alone? At least with someone there she could have her fu--?

What the hell?

Sky’s thoughts came to a screeching halt as she heard some distant singing and what sounded like a vehicle of some sort coming her way. As she turned and watched the approach of this noisy hunk of junk, she felt her head throbbing from the sounds of it all. What was up with this? And who were the two nuts that were driving such a noisy thing?

Her answer came a few seconds later as the old jeep came to a stop before her and an older man exited to begin unloading some items in the back. As she watched, the guy started speaking some nonsense before addressing her and introducing himself as the school janitor.
Sky would blink at the older man before her eyes drifted towards the guy smiling at her. She heard his introduction and was not amused by what was heard. Giving the other an beautiful grin in return, Sky turned her back on the others and moved towards the gates again.

“And I thought you be a lot smarter and less goofy looking,” she said in jovial fashion that did not hide the slight bite to them. She was not pleased with this and if they thought for one second, they could be instant buddies because they were after the same thing, well they had another thing coming.

“Look doll face, don’t get the wrong idea. I am not here to play around. I just want to get in and out of this place quickly and perferrably quietly,” she said glancing back at the Jeep with sneer of disgust before turning away.

“I run a pretty straight line and strict business here, so you either help or take your junk and get lost. As for digging, where the hell are we gonna dig if we are out here, huh? Plan to dig a hole under the school or something?” she snorted with a cold sneer as she resumed looking for a way in. What a bunch of jokers.
