That was surprisingly quite a meek reaction, compared to what he had received before. Sharaku would tilt his head slightly, with a light grin. This guy was amusing, still. ''Hm? Cat got your tongue this time? Well, fine with me, I suppose.'' If anything, this one was rather entertaining to poke. As frustrating as not being understood could be at times, this particular situation was proving to be hilarious. Afterall, he himself had not been 100% serious with whatever he had said so far, so there was no need for him to get offended, no matter what kind of a response he would receive in return. Despite all the seriousness going on lately, he was still adept at being an annoying tease when the situation allowed it. There was just little opportunity, due to people disrupting his mood effectively.

Uh, how did this suddenly turn to calling in more people? ''Could, but I wonder what would I say. 'Hey, there's some stranger that needs help. Care to cut your free time and come running?' Not sure whether I can find someone that wouldn't consider hanging up on me.'', he would state in a deadpan, raising an eyebrow at the other. Logic would say it was not the best idea. And..in all honesty, whoever he would call, would probably question his sanity first and foremost. He was not known to be the type to happily offer help to people he did not even know. Not to the extent of calling for company to accomplish so. ''Implying you look bad as you are? Maybe you should also work on your self esteem.'' Of course it would be somewhat dumb to dress like a dirty bag for dinner, but as long as you put on something that suits you well enough, what is the big deal? You don't need to spend ages picking special clothes to get that done.

He would squint at the composition of colorful pages suddenly being waved in his face. What? ''Uh....'' It was almost hard to believe this guy was serious. ''...again. You need to stop taking things literally the way they are put sometimes. It is a phrase. That, in no way means you would have to stay inside.'' God, how do you even explain that. ''It refers to being up do date with current fashion. They're just saying that you are 'out', meaning that you aren't wearing what is popular at the moment. Which is, honestly, up to perception. You don't need to be a copycat and wear what models do to impress anyone. Find your own style, if you really must go and do something.''Why was this guy even shopping for clothes when he didn't understand what he was doing...? This was really way beyond him. He didn't have a university title to deal with permanently clueless people.

He would sigh eventually. ''You know what. You're lucky I'm feeling nice enough today.'' 'And that I don't want to lose any more sanity here...' Besides, it could prove to be interesting. If this guy kept being 'dumbo' about certain things, he would get scolded even more..just not by him. Watching was very amusing too. ''A warning, however. Not everyone will play nice with you.'', he would smirk in slight amusement, taking a moment to do the thing.

--Let's pretend I'm gonna call Shun to come around if he has the time. I dunno how to word this properly so it would fit without seeming weird as a onesided conversation--

Phew, he sighed in relief. "So... I don't have to worry about that?" He held the magazine vertically in front of his face, squinting at the picture on the page of the magazine. "Good, because I really don't like what this lady is wearing." He'd throw the magazine on the shelf behind him and scratch his head. "It's not that I think I look bad... Buuuut, wouldn't you need some classier clothes if you wanted to take someone out to a special dinner?"

"Play nice? We weren't playing. Why would someone play with me?" He frowned in confusion. Again with the riddles... Wait... As if a lightulb suddenly clapped on in his head, he raised his finger, illuminated by his realization. "Oh, you're calling someone over! Thanks!"

Sharaku would just observe the other with a raised eyebrow. ''I don't even know why were you worrying in the first place. As I said before, you need to chill out.'' Why would you even want to get so hyped over a magazine? God knows who even writes those in the first place. With luck, half of it may just be nonsense put in a fancy way to attract readers. ''...You don't even need lady clothing.'' What point did liking that one have, when you were a guy? Of course you weren't going to really wear such on a normal day. He would sigh. ''Maybe, but I still don't see the point in freaking out over it. You can always just pick up a suit or something when you want to go for classy. There's little you can mess up there. And I don't think your company will nitpick about clothes too much, unless you go to a dinner with a fashion designer.'' Which, he doubted was the case here. That would be ..well, unexpected, at the very least.

He didn't even bother commenting on the misunderstanding this time. Waste of breath by now. ''We shall see..'', he would hum simply, in answer to the hasty thanks.

When Sharaku called him over, Shunnosuke didn't imagine that, in fact, he'd have to deal with a third wheel rather than an opportunity of another date now they had settled their differences. It's the first time they'd meet after a long time, in which the younger's heart was filled with expectations and his own fears that Sharaku would make it alive and, past that brief storm, want to reunite with the young student. Apparently the man did survive whatever was out to get him. Apparently he did want to reunite with Shunnosuke, otherwise he wouldn't have called, would he? What Shunnosuke wasn't counting with was that they both had different ideas about that meeting...

— Erm...someone care to explain what am I supposed to do here? Sharaku...? — He shifted his eyes from his mysterious companion to the man, a rather dark smile worn on his face waiting for a plausible explanation while making an effort to not jump to the easiest and most obvious conclusion: Sharaku was "having fun", whatever it meant in this context, with this younger lad. But...why? How? That person was never even mentioned. Plus, he wasn't even handsome enough to par up with Shunnosuke in a competition. And why at that place, of all possibilities? Suddenly he felt like his anxiety to face Sharaku again was a waste of energy and emotions...

With each passing minute, the atmosphere grew more tense. Seriously, this waiting was killing Charles and the fact that he couldn't even strike up a conversation with this guy because he had no idea what to say didn't make it any better, it only made for a very potent awkward silence between the two.

Just when Charles started getting really tense and on the tip of his toes, ready to speak up nervously (he even opened his mouth already), a young man entered the store, the door closing behind him with the chime of a bell. The hostess greeted the man, but what stopped Charles was the fact that this new guy seemed to know the old guy who was helping him with the clothes. Oh, so this was the helping hand the other one called over! Oh boy, this one was definitely gonna be more help, he could tell already! With a warm smile, Charles extended his hand. "You must be here to help out. I'm Charles." He would wait for a response before turning to the first guy, whose name was apparently Sharaku, and look up at him. "Didn't you tell him?"

Nothing, eh? Well, fine with him. Mr. Empty head was quite potent at digging his own grave anyway, so maybe it was better that he did not speak up. And Sharaku wasn't going to say anything either. He wasn't particularly bothered by the current silence, as he languidly observed the other. Most likely, the guy was much more anxious over this than he was. Frankly, he had reasons to be. You shouldn't expect miracles when you rudely grab someone off the street, and Sharaku did not really care about the puppy eyes or anything else. He had agreed mostly to avoid even more annoying hassle, and perhaps for the entertainment. The cluelessness was funny to an extent.

He would look over when Shun made his way in, though the other guy was apparently eager to beat him to speaking up. He would look back and forth between the two a few times, before putting on a pleasant smile. ''Hm? So now you actually bother to introduce yourself? How nice of you.'', he would state flatly. ''But I'll explain, don't worry.'', he'd smile at Charles thinly, before turning to face Shun. ''Well, meet Mr. Empty head, aka Charles apparently, since he didn't even find it fit to tell me his name before, after being rude enough to literally drag me here off the street. In any case, he's apparently out to get strangers to help him pick an outfit for dinner, but it seems he didn't like my nice suggestion of wearing pants on his head well enough, so I decided that perhaps you could help him instead.'', he would elaborate in a deadpan tone.

''Besides, if this can get solved quick enough, we can go elsewhere after. I can sure think of plenty better places to be right now.''

With that said, he would turn round to watch them both, still with a light smile, waiting to see how this would go. Perhaps he was being unnecessarily snarky here, but he felt like the guy deserved it for the approach so far. He wasn't one to be messed around with easily.

Shunnosuke wouldn’t return Charles’s greeting, briefly lowering his gaze to his hand with contempt before shifting from Sharaku to the new acquaintance. — Kurosawa… You can call me by that name. Now…? — Eyebrows lifted to Sharaku, waiting for an explanation. A plausible one. Once the man had indeed clarified the reason as to why he decided to give Shunnosuke a call and request their meeting in such place, the teenager would just look skeptically to Charles, silently. So…he wanted help with fashion. Of course! That’s Shun’s department, and he would pridefully help this inexperienced soul and guide him through the ways of renowned brands. Plus, if that little stone in the way gets removed sooner, he could have a real date with Sharaku after his death experience. There was so much he wanted to ask and tell that it fuelled his resolves to actually be helpful and altruistic to a stranger. Who’d have thought? — First of all, Charles, there are a few things I need to now: one, the nature of the place you chose for the dinner. Is it an elite, high-class place or a disreputable dump? Two, the nature of the dinner meeting itself. Is it romantic or business-related? Three, the nature of your personality. — Yes, Shun definitely got a little carried away here.

Charles pulled his hand back, somewhat offended by the way the new guy treated his greeting. "Kurosawa..." Japanese? Like Mae? He frowned a bit at Sharaku. He wasn't an empty head. His head wasn't empty, that's for sure. Maybe it was another metaphor? Anyways, he turned back to this... Kurosawa. Was this guy gonna be able to help him? His frown faded from his face as he listened to the barrage of question directed at him. Alright, this was a first step. Definitely professional. His eyes wavered upwards as he put a finger on his chin. How was he supposed to chategorize the place he was going to take Mae out to? It was the manager's apartment... A disreputable dump? No, he was gonna decorate it nicely and romantically for her. He already got the music background handled so yeah, he was gonna do it by how he has seen those sorts of things play out on the movies he watched with the manager to prepare himself. Second, the nature of the dinner was pretty obvious. It was supposed to be a romantic dinner along with a dance, a waltz. With the first two questions handled, the only remaining one was about his... personality... What? Why? Though, he had to answer that as well if he wanted help from him.

With two of the three questions ready to be dished out, Charles crossed his arms, still looking upwards as he spoke. "I... wouldn't say the place is a dump, but it also isn't very elite either." He avoided the truth, seeing it somewhat awkward to tell about... "Something... medium quality then? But romantically decorated. Oh, right, the dinner is supposed to be romantic, also with music. Some violins to follow the waltz. And... my personality... I think I'm..." He frowned, unable to find the words. "Why do you need that?"

Sharaku would remain standing there silently, simply looking between the other two for a while. Well, it seemed everyone decided to ignore him now. Pff, fine with him. He already knew well enough that Charles did not give a damn about him. The guy just wanted his stupid get up, and that was it. He would probably worship whoever decided to be a good soul and help an annoying stranger. That was something he really had no need for, so why bother butting in? He was capable of helping, but he generally needed some sort of motivation. There was nothing in it for him that would matter. So might as well stay out of this mess. He would frown a bit. ''Well, looks like this is my cue to leave you to it. If you want anything, let me know. I have no need to stand here just to watch.'', he would state, walking off to lean against the nearest wall unless someone made a move to stop him.

Shunnosuke would stare to Sharaku, paying attention to his frown. Was he upset that the teenager decided to focus on the task in hands? How cute! Perhaps that wasn’t the case, he knew Sharaku well enough to discard that possibility, but there’s this incomprehensible desire to poke at him for once. — Hm, feeling needy, aren’t you? Don’t worry, you’ll have plenty of my attention once we’re done. — That said, he got back to focusing on Charles; after all, that’s what he was called for. Assuming a rather thoughtful stance, one finger went straight to his chin, analyzing the responses given. Medium quality is fine; though he always strives to the top, it’s alright to work with a place that’s not a complete dirty, low-budget messy place. As long as the place doesn’t bring the tone of the date down, it’s fine. — Well, the personality is needed for me to understand what kind of attire, modeling and seam would interest you better. But fine, I can work it what I have so far…hm… — He glanced around searching for the formal, social attire section. — Sharaku, do you want something for yourself too? You always wear suits and dress pants, perhaps it’s time to experience a new style? — He had no real problem with Sharaku’s dress style; on the contrary, it made him look distinguished and aristocratic, a trait Shun would hold in high regards. However…he kind of wandered if the older could be a little bolder with his wardrobe for a change and wear, who knows, regular clothes? It could do him some good to strip of the dandy façade for a change.

"I-if personality is so important then..." Something grim enveloped Charles' heart and soul, bringing his plans down along with the ideal night out with Mae. H-he still couldn't think of anything. What if then this guy wouldn't be able to pick the perfect attire? What if it all ended as a catastrophe. N-no! He wasn't going to let it go to waste! If the snazzy guy Sharaku picked this Kurosawa to be his... fashion designer (a term Charles picked up from the fashion magazine) then he had to be good. Besides, he said he would be able to work without the personality part anyways. He stood back, nerously tapping his foot and leaning to the side, intently observing the man pick through the clothing hanged all across the shelves then say something to Sharaku. If only he'd hurry... Charles was growing more and more distressed with each passing second and now the two decided to have a chit-chat? H-he was the one in need here! He was the one who was in a hurry! What were the two going to do on that day anyways? Unlike them, Charles had a tight schedule; he still had to go to the vet's and pick up some stuff for Gao and then do some part-time before coming home and meeting up with Mae. She was going to be so bored without him! What was she going to do while he was out!? K-kurosawa should better hurry!

Sharaku would roll his eyes, half bemused. No, he did not need anything. he just did not like being ignored after being dragged here not even by his own choice. He was mostly annoyed that Charles immediately stopped giving him attention the moment there was another target to jump on, and demand help from. Very polite indeed, but whatever. Yes, he hadn't been exactly nice to the guy himself, but who would be after the stunt that had been pulled to begin with. ''Not particularly.'', he would respond towards Shun shortly. If there was anything he felt like, it was not elaborating on the subject. He was about to walk off to the side, not having much intention of listening to the apparently one sided conversation. How funny. The guy wanted help, but couldn't even answer a few questions properly. What was so hard about them? It wasn't as if Shun was asking for a complete health report or such. Though, Shun's following inquiry towards him made him stop for a bit. Eh? He would look at the younger man with a slightly raised eyebrow. ''I don't? I'm not even wearing a suit right now.'' Sure, perhaps he did a lot, but definitely not always. That would be boring even for him. ''But perhaps. At least I'll have something to do while the two of you chit-chat.'' He didn't really mind. However, he was going to pick himself if he was already doing it. Shun was busy with the guy anyway. And it wasn't as if he required help to pick some clothes. They weren't math equations you needed to use brain to solve. ''I suppose I'll see you in a bit then. Have fun meanwhile.'', he would give the two an amused look before walking off to somewhere else inside the store, leaving the two to their devices for now, unless they either stopped him, or decided to follow. He doubted the latter though, seeing as they were not looking for the same kind of clothes here.

Shunnosuke stared, pouty expression on his face as Sharaku gained distance and walked off somewhere. Sometimes he was too serious for his own good. Was he mad due to Shunnosuke’s little banter? He shouldn’t be, but you can’t really control someone else’s feelings. And the fact Sharaku could be rather volatile when he wanted. — Sometimes I don’t get him. — Shrugging those thoughts off, he turned back to Charles with a tender smile. If Sharaku didn’t want to spend time with Shunnosuke or his help with clothing, then the teenager better focus on someone who would appreciate it. — Alright then. Let’s search for a suit for you. Do you have any preferences in color, fabric and seam? — Shunnosuke said, walking closer to a hanger with many available sets of suits and pants in accordance. While giving time for Charles to analyze each of them individually, Shunnosuke placed a finger on his chin, focusing his sight on the boy and checking his body build from head to toe. Hm. No lusty feelings attached, he was merely checking how well would a formal attire adjust to his body and what would be the perfect construction for him.

Sometimes I don't get any of you... Charles stood there, paying little heed to the world around him. He was absorbed in trying to think of a good combination and merely stood there, staring at the hangers. Blue or black? Some more stylish pants or some simple ones? He didn't even notice Sharaku walking away on his own. He did, however, register Kurosawa's question that shook him out of the trance. He first stood there for a moment glancing in all directions with an open jaw until his eyes landed on Kurosawa. "Oh... right! Color! Uhm.." He shook his head and clapped his cheeks. This was getting to him. Ugh... He wasn't going to be able to endure much longer. How the hell can humans enjoy shopping!? It was all just stressful and messy and he had to make decisions... Luckily, he had Kurosawa to make his decisions for him this time. Except the color one, apparently... If he was such an fashion expert, why couldn't he just take a brief look at Charles and immediately know which color would fit him best??? He sure had a lot of questions! As it was, however, he had the answer to this one. He grinned and grabbed the pants he had earlier shown to Sharaku. The dark bluish ones. Yep, he wanted something of that color. He flashed the pants in Kurosawa's face. "This one."

Hm, they let him walk off quite easily. Then again, it wasn't as if he had expected to get dragged back. All in all, it worked better for him. Charles obviously gave little damn about him, so he had no reason to hang around to begin with. He wasn't particularly interested in standing there and watching the guy flail around to be honest. If Shun could handle him, he was free to, but his interest was close to zero at the moment. Charles was amusing up to a point, but past that, it became rather lame.

That said, he would leave them alone for now, spending the time wandering around the shop. He didn't particularly need new clothes, but it couldn't hurt either. At least finding something would pass him the time...Maybe. He wasn't really sure after seeing the little he did of how Charles went about with answering the questions he had been given. That alone made it seem as if it would become a long day. Very easily. Just his luck...
