Doll Shop (Sky)

Machines were strange creatures and yet very fascinating. On one hand, they could mimic humans absolutely. They moved and seemed to display emotions. They seemed to breathe and yet sometimes their logic was quiet illogical by human standards. Ironic since humans were the most illogical creature there was; however, there was one thing that the machines lacked. A true heart and warmth. They were cool creatures that in an instant could show one just how merciless they could be. Show the ugliest forms of human nature with no remorse.

They were truly a beautiful thing and maybe that was why as this one spoke that Sky’s icy glare from before began to soften. She called herself Mauled…disfigured…broken. She wanted revenge against SE.RA.PH...said Phalanx could help her. That they were on the same page.

Sky was quiet even after the other one had stopped speaking her blue eyes studying the other as her face remained blanked. Then quite unexpectedly she would lean across the counter and make a nab for the hat the other wore. If she was successful, she would get to view the other fully and if she failed well, that would prove despite how this one acted she was much quicker on her feet than expected. Successful or not, Sky would eventually go back to her first position as she watched the other carefully.

“It is nice to meet you, Mauled. Mind if I call you Mally? Well anyway Mally. My name is Sky Akumura, I help run the antique shop across the way and happen to know this Phalanx you speak of. He spoke of similar causes as you do and for that he and I are business partners of a sorts, see?” she said as she leaned against the counter observing her black painted nails.

“As result I am particular of who is let in what rings involving both him and myself. So tell me, Ma~lly~” she placed both hands on the counter as she faced the machine fully once more with that cold smirk on her face, her eyes narrowed to mimic a cat's eyes. “Why should I let you anywhere near my partner? How do I know you ain’t gonna try and break him, hmm?”

A valid question, but also one that could sway which way this conversation was going.
