--- the rescue ★ [day 2: morning]

Junko shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly at Keda's words. "What do you have in mind to turn back such an active crowd? Something small and easy to brush off would never get the job done." The detective narrowed his eyes as he folded a hand behind his neck and looked up towards the barricades. "I bet they're just itching to fire once we get too close. I feel like this is the last chance we can try to turn these people back. If we fail, then you can expect a bloodbath. What a show." The detective gave a low laugh under his breath before placing a hand on his side and looking back at the screen of his phone. During this time, Orlando continued to listen to the group. Though he wasn't dumb, he surely wasn't the best when it came to making wide scale plans. So instead of interjecting on Keda's idea, he'd cross his arms over his chest and listen closely. "As long as we don't seriously hurt anyone, I'm willing to help with this idea. But the crowd is getting restless, we need to do this now." With both Junko and Orlando in agreement on the situation, they nod towards each other before looking back towards the one named Keda.

"No, we will wait right here and watch and see if you're really going to go get the information. You think we're dumb?! Don't bullshit us!" The crowd still seemed to be getting restless, as if they didn't trust the cops and the older man blocking their path. Junko tugged at his ear in slight irritation as his eyes rolled. Orlando, on the other hand, would address Keda. "Enough talk. Let's get this done, Keda. The longer we sit here, the more violent they're going to become. Surely the Military won't just gun us down without reason. Even they have to have some code of conduct." Orlando was obviously the optimistic one of the bunch, as he nodded to his own words and turned towards the barricades. Raising his hands up and showing the palms of his hands, he'd begin to make his way towards the massive gates. Atleast they'd see he was unarmed if he walked out this way, right? No reason to get hostile whatsoever. Junko, on the other hand, simply watched the events unfold. He would remove his phone and watch the screen of it while encouraging the one named Orlando. "That's why I like you, Detective Orlando. You're always ready to take the first step towards true Justice!~" The brown skinned man looked over his shoulder towards Junko with narrowed eyes. His partner had been acting even more weird since the lockdown started, and this further proved it. Before Junko kept his head down alot more around the station, but now after this catastrophe, he seemed right at home as if this lockdown was nothing but some sort of game. Before Orlando could always read his partner, but these days it was nearly impossible to guess what was going within that brain of his.

The Queen of Pain watched the individuals begin their advance towards the large gates. Grabbing a fire arm herself, she'd lift the iron sights of the gun and point towards the dark skinned male leading the small platoon of civilians. They didn't seem hostile, but she had her orders over everything else, and the mission was always first. So, pulling the trigger of her AR-15 grade rifle, she'd fire a three round burst down towards Orlando. However, the shots fired were not entirely fatal, and instead was aimed for his left leg. It was safe to say if it hit, he'd be down for the count and needing some form of medical attention, however it would skim and not take his leg off entirely. "There was their warning shot, seeing how they stopped those rioters from storming us. However, if they continue forward, shoot to kill. No one is to reach these walls, understood?" The woman would return the firearm to the soldier she had taken it from, and her platoon would all salute her orders and take aims. "Yes sir!" Even the Anti-Shadow Suppression Weapon, c2, was prepared to take a fire arm, but instead the Queen addressed her right hand woman directly. "c2, let the peons handle this. Save yourself for the more dangerous encounters. Sooner or later, we will be facing those who aren't entirely human either. Your combat efficiency needs to be 100% at all times." The Android would bow to its mistress. "I comprehend."

Meanwhile, Orlando would hit the ground hard while grasping his leg in pain. "Damn it, what the hell?!" The brown skinned man rolled onto his back and grit his teeth in pain. Junko's eyes would widen as he place a hand on his head and backed away a few steps. "Brilliant idea! Now they're probably going to gun us all down!" The rioters panicked at what just happened. And with Junko's comment, it made things even worst. They all scattered in their separated directions screaming, but did head back towards the city. The crooked detective Junko was right behind them, leaving his injured partner behind with a wave. "Gomenasai, Keda-san! Hope you don't die, ahah!" What a coward..

The military would keep their firearms drawn, awaiting to shoot down the three if they attempted to come anywhere near. The warning shot was generous of their Queen. Hopefully they did not expect another after the first. Regardless, Orlando would close his eyes in pain while latching onto Keda's shoulder for support. The pain was so unbearable that he felt his vision beginning to falter back and forth. Instead of speaking, he'd give a grunt before grinding his teeth in annoyance. "As long as no one dies, I'm fine. Leave me so neither of you die aswell. I'm content with my life ending here." With this said, the ebony male dropped his head and became quiet. He was still breathing, so he wasn't dead, but he seemed to be losing consciousness at the current point in time. Though his wound was covered, it didn't matter as the blood still poured. For now, Orlando would be out of commission. However, the military continued to keep close watch on the points of interest with their finger on the trigger.
