Devils and Angels (Dani)

((Daniel has been skipped and loses 5% HP this turn. It is Rokosho's turn.))

This was getting ridiculous! Not only had her own attack missed taking out one of the shadowy creatures, but it seemed that Dani was taking a beating himself. The attacks the creatures threw slammed into him and took him to the ground and on top of that one even took a swing at him while he was down. Already peeved with that, Sky was only further agitated when the two shadows teamed up on her and whacked her across the legs with their strange physical attack. It didn’t hurt as much as the magic, but still the whacks left bloody scratches on her!

Gritting her teeth, she would take on the pain of the blows and begin to form her own counter against them. However, before she could perform an attack of her own, something very strange happened. The shadowy creatures before them vanished into thin air leaving the shack empty of threats.
Breathing hard from the battle and the energy drain the beating had caused. Sky looked over at Dani and was about to say something when all of a sudden outside became quiet for a second.

Being still, Sky listened to the world around her for a moment and then felt herself go cold as Cheshire bristled in her mind and whispered that she run. Something was wrong here. Very wrong. The sun outside was vanishing leaving behind an eerie darkness that kicked up the sands even more. As those grains beat across the structure they were in, Rokosho could feel the presence of something malicious in the air. Something so malicious that even she a child of darkness was truly scared. Knowing that she could not stay here any longer, she grabbed her bag and headed towards the door. She would grab an old blanket she found in the corner and wrap it about her face and head before moving to the side of the chest she had used to block the door and pushing it out of the way. The door rattled on its hinges, but held for now. She was about to go out in that sandstorm alone, but paused as she looked back at Dani.

She…couldn’t leave him hear could she?

Shit! was all she thought as she moved over to the boy’s side.

“Dani, I know you may be hurting, but we need to get out here now,” she said before  moving to use his mantle to cover his face and head. Once she was done there, she would grab the boy by the arm and slinging it over her shoulder. Using her other hand to grab the guy by his pants’ waist band, she would pull the guy to his feet if he allowed it and settle his weight across her shoulders. Once that was done, she would kick the door causing it to easily swing open and let in the dark lashing sands. Holding onto the boy, she would begin to backtrack the way she came hoping that they would not get lost on the way back to the last place she had seen a portal.

As she walked she could’ve sworn, she felt the darkness of the area eating away at what little energy she had. Damn, she could not die here!
