That Time of the Month [Open to 1]

It was that time of the month again. Well it was that time, but it was also the time that she went to school for a week. School: More like hell designed to look peaceful. Everyone went without questioning anything about the place, it's like no one cared that they were forced to attend a place such as that and they didn't ask why. Why is it that people were so willing to conform to society without really knowing what was going on in the first place? It was like people liked running around with their heads chopped off, blind to what really was happening. Even though she showed up to school, that didn't mean she was going in there one bit. She decided to sit outside of it listening to her music without caring what would happen. She was dropping out in a year anyways, so it's not like they could stop her. Theda knew that she could get away with anything with an excuse like that, they practically didn't care anymore and tended to ignore her. Of course there were times when she used to love being in school, but her parents were both alive them - things change.

The school bell had rang long ago leaving most of the school’s grounds empty with the exception of a few late comers who were practically in tears as they ran to the class they were ever so late for. There were a few gang members lingering about who just didn’t give a hoot about class and the love birds that liked to skip class to be together; however, the pale girl that casually made her way across the schoolyard to a spot under a tree did not fit any of these descriptions at all.

She was a tall lanky beauty that seemed to fit more into the popular girl group and yet not a soul dared to go near her. Anyone that saw her turned the other way or took the longest path possible to not pass within her sights. The girl did not seem to mind this avoidance as she sat down her soda on the grass and then slipped the strap of her bag off her shoulder being careful not to knock off the black headphones she wore in the process. Once settled on the ground, the young woman would recline against the tree, her thin arms folding behind her head as blue eyes scanned the courtyard with a casual gaze. She took note of the old before letting her eyes linger on the new. A chick that seemed like she too did not care for classes as she preferred to hang out with her music instead.

Well whatever, if the kid wanted to slack off that was fine. It not like Sky cared if she failed or vanished. All this 3rd year was interested in was waiting for everyone to get out of class, so she could do some digging into the rifts around the school without being bother. She could go to class to pass time, but why do that when all she was going to do was sleep as the teachers went on about subjects she already knew about?

No, it was much better being out here relaxing rather than wasting time doing that. In any case, blue eyes drift lazily from the new girl and upward towards the sky where she would watch clouds pass through the leaves as a cool wind blew through the area.
