Restroom Roll Call [Day 2: Dawn]

OOC: Since we both have our Dawn thread at the university, I'm joining your thread, alright ^^~?, That way we can already meet ... If you'd prefer to have your thread apart though, dw, I'll just copy paste this and post it apart :3


IC: In the darkness of a improvised room in the Tiekuru University, a man grunted as he woke up from a dreamless sleep, holding his head as he tried to contain the pain. Where was he?, What had happened?... The last thing he remembered was people panicking around him and falling down shortly after... Or was that just a dream?... No, he now could remember some of it. Port Island had been locked down, cut off from the outside world by the national army for unknown reasons... He also remembered how them, the staff of the University, had gathered to decide a course of action on the same day it had taken place... What followed was but a thick, confuse fog, yet something was clear. It hadn't end well...

Once he was done with his mental revision of the events, Yasuo tried to move, what was responded with a dulling pain from his entire body. Instinctively, his muscles relaxed as he laid limp on the bed... Had he been injured?, And if so... How badly?... It was hard to tell with him being unable to see.

His mask, he needed his mask. Reaching with his hand to the side, he felt with his hand the furniture besides him until he felt the touch of the colt steel. grabbing it with one hand, he brought it towards him before adjusting it over his eyes. With the push of a button, the gaps begun to glow with a deep red light and he regained his sight

For a few minutes, Yasuo inspected his body, he was only wearing a pair of boxers and he had some bandages around his chest area... He might have broken a rib. Other than, that, he seemed to be in good condition... Which meant that it was time to search whoever was on control of the university and make some catching up.

Slowly incorporating, the man calmly dressed up, taking care not to put too much strain on his body. He couldn't be fully sure that the extent of his injuries was as small as it seemed at first sight, so it was better if he didn't put too much strain on his body. Once he was done, he noticed his mobile phone on top of his computer. It seemed he had received some messages.

Opening the phone, he begun reading the messages. most were from his elderly parents and the rest of the family... Yet, there were two also three very strange messages... One explaining something about a program that had appeared on his telephone out of nowhere called "Velvet P. Program"... It said it was for summoning demons... And that was just scratching the surface of the bizarre message... Summoning circles. catastrophes, predictions of the future... What was all of that about?... The other two messages were two of the Death Mails described by the first one, one corresponding to yesterday and one to the present day.

Something about the second one got his attention right away, it said that two people he knew would die!, One of them was his very best student, Carmen Accardi, while the other was the owner of a shop he used to buy in and with who he had established quite a good relation, Genzu... Just... What was all of this?...

Yasuo walked towards the door. Someone somewhere had to know, and he was determined to find the truth.

Opening the door from the inside, he stepped out, much for the surprise of the students present at the moment. Soon, quite a multitude of them had gathered observing and talking between eachother as the gigantic man looked around. The University seemed to be intact, thanks god... Whoever had been running it to this point had done an excellent job, he thought with a faint smile... Yet, there was no time to rejoice on this fact, there were so many matters to attend and yet so little time... Walking up to one of the students, the teacher politely requested that he'd lead him to the current head of the Universtity... Yet with all the attention he had drawn with his sudden return to consciousness, he suspected said chief would find him first.

Located in the main conference room, Reijo would be leaning against a wall with his arms crossed and eyes closed. The school was undergoing some repairs, thanks to the demon attack that happened that night, so alot of his personnel were busy patching up walls and windows with whatever they could find. Standing across from Reijo would be the smaller student, Carmen, who seemed to be fidgeting with her phone and bouncing off the heels of her feet. Reijo, being the leader of the students, kept a calm head but was obviously irritated that the two he had let stay in the night attracted a demon. Not only this, but their little fight destroyed some sections of the building, and they disappeared without claiming the punishment for their actions. He didn't care that they saved Carmen because she wouldn't have been in danger if they hadn't showed up that day looking for shelter. However, what was done, was done. Now he needed to address what his right hand woman was telling him about her phone.

"So, let me get this straight, Carmen. This "Demon Summoning Program" installed itself to your phone? Do you know anything else?" The young man asked with a calm voice, as he open his eyes partially to look towards her. Carmen continued to bounce on her feet while swinging the phone around. "I knooow it says it can summon demons and I even got a strange email, but that doesn't matter! What matters is I want to crack this program open, but I can only do it if you let me cipher more energy from the generator to my laptop so I can pull it offf! A-also I'll need more RAM, so I'm going to strip some sticks from the laptops we're not using. Then, if I do this, I can crack open the program entirely! Cool, huh?!" Boy was she enthusiastic. Reijo raised a brow to his words. It seemed alot of people were talking about programs and weird emails coming to their phones recently. If she could crack it, perhaps they could use it to their advantage. So with a thin smile, Reijo would push himself from the wall and nod his head. "I suppose I can lend you my aid, but be careful, Carmen. You're too valuable to this operation, and I don't want to lose you. Stay vigilant. We'll need the generators in the morning, but you'll have full access to them in the Afternoon and at Nighttime." Carmen almost launched into Reijo for a hug with his approval of her endeavor. With a flustered face, the small Italian would bow and skip out the room with her phone in hand. Reijo would remain.

Skipping down the hallway, the computer geek would be heading right back to the Computer Lab. She read the screen on her phone that had a mention of a "Persona" and showcased a file named "Jack Frost". Oooh, how she couldn't wait to see what this meant!

OOC: Sorry, I don't see a way that our characters can meet up, but you don't have to leave the topic.

Masa looked at his phone one last time before deciding what to do. He checked everything over one more time to see what would happen and to see if there were any more messages. He found one that would decide what would happen in the next few hours. He learned where the man by the name of Orlando would die. He would die in the barricades. Masa wasted no time. He made sure that he things were ready and that his Persona would be ready to go in case anything happened. With his Persona now strengthened and his mind clear on what to do next, he set off for the barricades, hoping that he can save Orlando and stop this lock down from taking another victim.

Soon enough, Yasuo was on his way to the Conference Room, guided by the student he had requested assistance from. Looking around, he soon noticed the state of the University wasn't as good as he had thought at first... Around him, the students were fixing damaged walls and windows, some of which were quite badly damaged... The teacher was greatly distressed by the state of things, but what worried him the most was the absence of his coworkers. Everywhere he looked at, the vast majority of people he saw were students. There was an adult every now and then, but none were teachers...

Like a traitorous snake, a shadow crawled up his chest from within, opressing his heart with a malicious claw of fear, a fear that children couldn't understand very well and that his students had only begun to experiment recently. He wasn't afraid for his life, but for the lives of the others, the ones of everyone connected to him. His was just another candle on a sea of fire, but the lives of his students, the lives of his team... Even if he wasn't really that close to them, they somehow still were... His people... The people he had chosen over the ones that he had been given.

That was why he was so relieved when a few moments later he saw Carmen exiting the conference room. To see the little genius happily bouncing around had always been a comforting sight, but this time it was a blessing.

Dissimulating his happiness for the sake of composure, he just put a hand on his guide's shoulder as a signal for him to stop, "Miss Carmen", he said with a polite smile, "It is indeed a pleasure to see my most talented student unharmed", he added with a jovial tone.
