Rita smiled widely at Lia's reaction, then nodded herself at her words after she went to get the knife. "Well, if you need me at all, I'll probably just be in my room from now on. I really don't think I'm going back to school until a while has passed... well, at least until the shows are over and done with. I need to make sure I don't feel threatened there... you never know what the students or even the teachers would do... it's scary." She frowned slightly, but quickly shook her head and returned to a smile, as if dismissing the issue. School wasn't going to fun anymore, probably... but that was fine. Rita had other stuff to do now. Hell, if it came to it, she could always repeat this year. That would be last resort, though, as she was actually taking time to study lately, which was an extremely rare occasion.

Rita flinched slightly at the hug and felt her face heat up at Lia's words... yet, she just returned the former, a very wide smile on her crimson-tinged face. "Yeah... you're my family, and my best friend..." The silvernette reached up and nuzzled Lia's neck affectionately. "I... I do too... I-I love you, Lia... that's the truth." Rita would stay like that for a while with Lia unless the latter broke the hug sooner than expected, though it should only last a few more moments regardless. After it was done, Rita would brush a bit of hair off her face, smiling shyly, even after this. She was honest with herself... and with Lia. Even if they weren't lovers, that didn't matter, because they were family, wasn't that right?

After the hug, she nodded. "Maybe school is where you're needed most. Enjoy yourself, especially if you are thinking about making big changes. No reason to think about it now. Your friends need you. I'll see you around," she said. She looked at the ring she gave her and adjusted it with a smile before waving at her and running off towards the circus, looking at the ring along the way. She seemed very excited to get it all rolling, and she would only feel better with someone like her with the performer.

"Maybe, I don't really know... I'll try to do stuff, at least, so don't worry." The silvernette gave Lia a beaming smile as she went off, glancing at her bracelet as well. She'd definitely keep it around... always. Whatever happened now, Rita needed to come back safely. Still, she wasn't gonna go around on crazy adventures too too soon now. God knows she's had enough of those... in any case, all that Rita would do now was walk back to her room, carrying Lia's gift close to her chest, near her heart area.
