Persona?(Blaez awakening)

Blaez couldn't wait to his turn to end,he was having some problem to breath,nothing too serious,but it was getting in the way.The student shift was over,he left the store quick as possible.As he walked it seems that it was becoming more difficult to breath,Blaez assumed that he got fatigued after the long walk in that condition.Turns out he was wrong,he tried to take a break but there was no use,he felt something around his neck,but when he there wasn't anything there.His legs where shaky,he tried to walk but fell on his knees."The hell?"The student felt something pressing against his belly,it was sharp and cold...Maybe knife?but how?He didn't saw anything when he looked down.Something strange was going on,but what could it be?

As he began to walk down the street, he would find himself feeling more and more in pain, like someone was tearing his inner organs from the inside without any obvious visual signs. However, the more the pain continued, the more visions started to appear in his eyes, of a large bipedal dragon using its fangs to bite at him, and it was definitely hurting. No one else could see the figure, however Blaez could see and hear its snarls as it dug at his stomach and chest with its fangs and claws. If Blaez were to struggle, he’d find that it’d be a grueling challenge to get him off of him, like he was attached to him.

"Get away from me,you freak!"Blaez tried to punch,kick and push the dragon away,as he struggled he grunted and yelled at the dragon,yet no reaction,the dragon kept biting the student,he never felt something that painful in his life.As he grunted and and shrieked in pain he thought"Will i die here?"No,he refused to let it happen,Blaez tried to fight back again and would keep trying to break free until something happened.

Blaez was still being attacked, and he wouldn't be able to tell if people were watching him or not. Either way, no help came at the moment. The pain would persist until finally in the midst of the madness, a hand came from behind and seemed to force something; a pill perhaps down Blaez's mouth, and would not let go unless he swallowed it. Whoever the person was, they were rather strong. Afterwards if he were to swallow the pill, he would feel a hard force hit the back of his head and assuming Blaez did not try to escape, he would be out cold.

When he came too, he would find himself in an alleyway, with no harm coming to him save for a bruise on the back of his head. The weird figure was gone, but Blaez could feel a similar presence in his head, like that was where it came from. It did not seem to act naturally in his head, but it had been held back by something and wasn't attacking. Near him he would notice a clearly out of place letter in a clean white envelope with no writing on it, and next to it, a bottle full of strange pills.

Everything was to quick to Blaez make out what was happening,at one moment a pill was being shoved down his throat and then he was unconscious.He woke up on a alley,the dragon was nowhere to be seen,yet,Blaez still felt it's presence in his head,it wasn't attacking at least.

Blaez noticed that there was a bottle and an envelop next to him,he picked both up.He first opened the bottle,it was full of pills,probably the same from early,he looked at the back of the envelop and it was blank,that's weird,maybe there was some clue of what was going on in that envelop.Without hesitation the student opened the envelop to see what was inside.

The note was written in legible handwriting, and it read the following:

"Those pills will protect you. You have awakened to a Persona, which is essentially your mind taken shape. It can fight for you, but you have to stay alive. Those pills will keep it from attacking you, I guess some Personas are like that, but they come with a weird side effect that seems to be different for many, so watch out for that. You see those weird tears around town right? They go to other worlds, and you can explore them and figure out what this mess is all about. I know it seems a lot to take in at once, but you have to trust me. This drug is everywhere, so you can go to any place around the slummy areas if you know them. Just get a job perhaps. If you want you are free to go live on your own, and if you wish to meet me, come to Standasen and speak to any gang member. Give them this note, and they'll tell you. But don't be pressured, it was just to make sure you lived through a death you couldn't stop. Good luck."

The note ended there, and all was silent. he was free to do what he willed, but for now, his power was under control, and he had these pills that would now keep him alive. All that was left, was the power he had gotten merely by chance; who would have thought it would have come from being attacked by it.
