| Sherlock simply sat in boredom with nothing to do. Sherlock was sitting on the bench he was getting stir crazy. Sherlock pulled out a rag and started cleaning his signet ring on his hand. I wonder if anyone will come from the outside today. Sherlock was not interested what was in the Velvet Room he wished he could go out an explore more often what would be even better is if something interesting would happen. Sherlock was done cleaning his Signet Ring, and Sherlock sighed he wished he had something productive to do. Sherlock heard a creaking of steps he immediately stood up fixing his clothes to make himself look more presentable thinking someone was coming. Sherlock needed to look presentable it was quite rude not to be dressed formally in any situation. Sherlock stood up straight and smiled happily something might actually happen maybe even a conversation about the human world. Sherlock sighed hoping the other person would hurry and get into the room saying a sentence he had been wanting to say "welcome to the Velvet Room" Dani excitedly smiled. | |

| This is getting a bit out of hand…
Akumu thought this as he traveled through the familiar pathways that existed between the human realm and the realm of spirits. For once, he was quite happy that some pathways were so deep that even when an odd stunt like the one at the tower had been pulled, humans still could not see the paths. Akumu was lost in the dark beforehand, but in the blink of an eye all the chaos in the spirit realm that had been questionable beforehand suddenly became clear. While it was true that Akumu had no answers to solve the bigger picture at larger at least now he had an idea of who was rocking the boat so to speak.
That reporter and her broadcast. They both had tipped the already unstable scale over completely now by making the whole world and beyond aware of the other sides and also the ones who fought with the power of the gods or other beings within them. The list was quite long to begin with and would probably get a lot longer as humanity took this insanity into their own hands. Akumu understood Fate had strange ways of guiding humans, but to have an outside being force even Fate herself to do something differently than was planned?….That Reporter…she must’ve been more powerful than even Akumu could phantom. The whole event put him on edge and made him even more anxious to do something. Sure….his master did not design him to fight or interfere with the way Fate ran things, but was it not his duty to collect what information he could and then use that to help others? And what of Nilo? He was mentioned in the report. Would the boy truly be okay even with a small ring of friends around him? Could said friends be trusted?
Biting his lip in thought, Akumu continued to travel through the hidden pathways hardly noticing he had even entered the Velevet Room so quickly or that one of his siblings were already in the ship. It was the happy voice that drifted across the area that broke his troubled thoughts and caused the ancient attendant to pause as he looked up at the other with a blank expression at first before recognizing the other attendant.
Frowning a bit as he rubbed his eyes, Akumu would speak.
“Ah, brother. How are you this evening?” he would say calmly as he dropped his hand back to his side and gave the other a light smile in turn. He had not been expecting his siblings here. In fact, he was hoping to find his master, but…ah well. Perhaps Fate had put the unexpected before him once again for a purpose. Time would tell.

| Sherlock looked disappointed it was just one of his siblings. "Oh it's just you brother How are you is there anything of importance that I can help you with?" Sherlock smiled at his brother with a sparkle of hope in his eyes his adventurous attitude getting the better of him. He looked at his brother if he was correct he was one who was out of the Velvet Room often. "Ah forgive me brother I've been stuck here for quite a while If only I could go to the human world as often as you or our other siblings do it's quite bothersome, It's because I'm not quite not as confident as our other siblings that I wouldn't get involved in the affairs of Humans" Sherlock immediately calmed himself down and explained himself. Sherlock forced a fake smile thinking about all the people that needed his help why did they not want him to help people it was clouding his judgment. Sherlock's forced smile he looked worried "anyways how can I help you brother my problems not of your concern it seems you are contemplating something can I ask what it is that you are thinking about?" Sherlock knew contemplation when he saw it so he simply waited Akumu to speak up he was now all ears. Sherlock was now analyzing his brother to make sure he wasn't hiding anything important from him he now waited. | |

| Disappointment came from his sibling, but Akumu was hardly phased as he drifted further into the ship. He took note of his words and the other’s smile; however, he did not return it so easily.
“Help?” he repeated as he sat on the sofa. “I don’t know if anyone can help with what I am currently contending with,” he said with a sigh as he leaned back and looked at the other with a light tilt of the head as the other began to apologize and explain his excitement to do something away. To his words, Akumu smiled lightly understanding the feeling. There were many days when he too had been stuck with nothing to do, so he could understand how it could drive one mad after a while, especially if the personality matched the one that stood before him now.
The other tried to play his dissatisfaction off, but not even that smile could hide how the other really felt about the situation. Despite noticing this, Akumu would shake his head lightly at the other.
“Perhaps asking master to step out more would boost your confidence. You can observe if you do not wish to interact directly with humans,” he said and then becoming quiet his eyes would narrow as the other caught onto his trouble thoughts and in turn questioned him about them.
“There are many things I think about, but the most pressing one is the one that just occurred on the other side. I am surprised nothing here carried the message over,” Akumu said looking at the floating radio in the room. Interesting. Did that broadcast only go outside of the shadow and between realms then? Odd. That reporter seemed be trying to pull everyone in. Maybe she was more selective than he thought. Hmmm…
Looking back at his sibling, he would consider just how much to tell before sighing lightly at the other.
“We have a bit of a problem. It seems we have a young lady that likes to shake the scales quite badly. Already, she has revealed Personas to the human world and even revealed the hidden rifts to the other side. Honestly, I am trying to understand why she did such a thing. Unfortunately, the only solution here is to break rules and do exactly what we are not supposed to do….meddle; however, meddling seems like the only way to get to the truth these days,” Akumu said as he folded his arms and bowed his head complete miffed about this whole mess.

| "Hmm this is quite troubling if what you say is true that would not be good I guess it's finally time for me to get permission to leave the Velvet Room whenever I wish I might have to find out what is going on as well it would be better to have two minds in this situation instead of one" Sherlock smiled his adventurous attitude coming out in full force. Sherlock would have to get his masters permission to leave the Velvet Room first that would be the hard part. "Now why would anybody want to tell the normal humans that cant use Persona is strange that could cause quite a few problems" Sherlock looked at his brother the situation was more worrisome then he thought. Sherlock gave his brother a reassuring smile he didn't know what would happen in days to come but it could get really bad so they had to stay strong. "Brother don't worry so much there must be something you can do you just have to keep trying that's all the advice I have for this situation It's not a good idea to disheartened you must remain strong, is there anything else you want to talk about I'll listen I'm your brother after all" Sherlock said his piece and waited for his brother to speak up.
Sherlock smiled at his brother he thought Akumu was supposed to be the mature one. Sherlock was not the smartest one here but all he does is read so that helps quite a bit. Sherlock knew his brother was worried so he decided put on a false smile maybe it would make him feel better. Sherlock looked at the his signet ring it was very important to him it made him feel a little better.

| It appeared that his words had finally cracked the pretense his brother was using to hide what he truly felt about being restricted to the Velvet Room. While it was true that Akumu was a different case in some regards and could wander a bit further than some when it came to exploring the outside world, there were still many bars that kept him from fully moving about in a more useful manner. Yes, he could pick this clue or that clue up from the outside world, but the other side of the picture was still shrouded in mist. His compendium was still just a book rather than the powerful tool it could become. In time, he supposed that boundary would lift as the book’s power finally unlock, but it was time that concerned him the most. It appeared they all were running out of time, if that announcer lady was to be believed. How frustrating.
Blue eyes would remain on the other sibling in the room as the other spoke in regards to the words. He was planning to speak with the master for permission to leave then? Mmm. Yes. Two heads were better than one provided the other got the permission he needed to be free of his confinement. On that note, Akumu wonder how his sisters were handling this or if they knew anything at all about it. He hadn’t seen Neith or Lola in quite some time. Perhaps as he figured out this mess he could also check in with them. If they were all working together or at least had some form of network around them, then perhaps this whole ordeal would be less burdensome. A guess, but being alone in chaos was no fun that was for sure.
“Mmm. I wish you well on that endeavor brother. It would indeed be very helpful to have another’s outlook on the situation and perhaps you will be more content having the outside world to visit,” Akumu said the words calm and gentle as always as he gave the other a light smile of encouragement; however, the smile would soon fade as the other brought the situation up regarding the girl and the persona. To what he heard, the older attendant sighed.
“Yes. It has caused an unnecessary stir, but I suppose whoever this girl is, she is trying to force people to move in some direction that is not quite clear to me,” Akumu said as he lifted one hand up to his chin and pondered the problem for a minute. Where was the girl going with it all and what had caused the broadcast to freeze? What were the missing variables and why were they so hard to find?
The old attendant frown. The answers to such wanderings were not pleasant.
When his brother tried to be encouraging with both words and action, Akumu observed the other quietly for a moment quite impressed how some of the younger ones sometimes knew what to say better than the ancient ones of this realm. It brought a light smile to his face, but did not easy the worry as he considered what was said.
“There is always, hmm?” Akumu muttered as his light smile remained as he reflected on the words he had heard Sharaku say not too long ago. Perhaps that one was correct in what he said. Maybe he did need to look at the picture from a different perspective and really take into consideration that he wasn’t quite alone after all. Yes he had his siblings, but he did have a connection with one of the named did he not? And he had a promise to uphold, now more than ever with that one. Akumu would remain quiet for a bit before looking at the other with a light nod.
“Perhaps there is something I can do; however, enough of me. How do you plan to tackle this if master gives you the permission you seek?” he asked curious of what his brother had in mind.

| Sherlock smiled as the his Brother asked the question. Sherlock clicked his tongue and spoke up "That's a question dig for information of course, and try to find out what is going just like I should be, who knows what will happen after the situation is dealt with, what we also need to do is ask for permission to interfere this is no longer a normal problem this is endangering everybody not just people who can use Persona" Sherlock took a deep breath and looked quite serious his smile having disappeared. Sherlock knew what he just said could be considered very bad by some people but this was no ordinary situation. "These are no longer normal circumstances we have to at least ask, but people might even ones who have nothing to do with Persona if Master says no then we will just observe" Sherlock said waiting for Akumu's opinion on the matter. Sherlock would understand if Akumu didn't want to ask the Master then he would just ask by himself. Sherlock normal smile returned to his face waiting the answer. Sherlock waited for Akumu to speak up it was taking quite a while. Sherlock pulled a small book out of his pocket and started reading it the book not at all being effected by the water. | |

| Akumu watched the other quietly as he clicked his tongue before explaining what he was planning to do. Ah. So they were on identical paths. Not really a surprise, but he was a bit concerned about his brother's last set of words.
“There are many possibilities that could occur both good and bad; however, Lady Fate is not willing to give hints today. She only leaves chaos cards which hold great promise and trouble. It makes me concerned for all worlds and yet, I am not sure how much an attendant like ourselves can do. You say ask master to interfere? You can try, but I am afraid I am a bit to set in my chains to be so bold. I believe I will search for an alternate route to aid in the situation,” Akumu said keeping true to the laws that governed the Velvet Room and almost all attendants. There were some that tried to break away from tradition like his brother suggested, but those that did Akumu had lost track of long ago. He hoped his brother was not heading this way too.
In any case, when the other decided to become serious and ponder something for a bit before speaking, Akumu closed his eyes lightly.
“Mmm. Perhaps your part in this is very much different from my own then,” he said and then opening his eyes tilted his head at his brother. “You can ask and see what your luck is like with the such a request. I will accompany you to visit master; however, as stated before I do not think my chains will allow me to follow you fully. I can assist from a collector and observer position, a guide so to speak, but nothing anymore even in this strange situation. That is simply my path. It has been that way for years. However, your path is just beginning so I’d like to see where it will take you in the end,” the older attendant said with a light smile to the other before falling silent as he saw the other pull out a book and begin to read it.
Was he even listening at all, then? Or had the words fallen on deaf ears?

| "Is that so don't worry I'm listening I've read this novel over Two-Hundred times, anyways is that what you really think Brother the humans need are help now more than ever" Sherlock was well aware this was a gamble he didn't have a choice though that's just how Sherlock is. Sherlock smiles at his brother standing off dusting his clothes, he then holds out his hand to his brother waiting for him to grab it. "Brother It's simple we cant let others dig their own graves I just care to much about life in general even I cant interfere I must be able to do something no matter how small to just to help other people I know that all life is sacred" Sherlock told Akumu his feelings on how everyone deserved help no matter how small. Sherlock liked helping people because everybody needs help. Sherlock's smile was their waiting for Akumu to grab his hand for a handshake. | |

| Well, it appeared the other was listening after all. The book he pulled was just out habit; however, as Akumu examined the book he had to wonder if maybe the one his brother had in his hands was his favorite one. It was possible it was a random pick also; however, Akumu wouldn’t linger too long on trying to figure the trivial matter out as he let the other’s words sink into his head before nodding.
“Yes. I think the humans need more aid than we can possible imagine. As a servant of Fate and a guide for the lost, I have come to this conclusion after examining the already open paths before me,” Akumu responded back easily to the other before he was falling silent and watching the other. His brother appeared to be in thought and after settling on something began to smile again. He watched the other dust himself off, of what he could not tell, but dusting himself off was exactly what he did before he held out his hand to Akumu. The old attendant looked at the other’s pale hand blankly before lifting blue eyes to the other and raising his eyebrows quizzically at such an action; however, before words could be put words to the look the other was speaking once more as he continued to hold out his hand.
Still not moving Akumu would listen carefully to his brother’s words before nodding lightly as he stood up. “If that is what you believe, I will not argue with it. I can agree to help a cause such as that, but…do we really need to shake on it? Is my word not enough to trust?” Akumu asked the other as he tilted his head not really understanding the necessity of such an action.

| "I suppose you are right, but anyways I hate going to talk to the master alone I just feel uncomfortable around him, don't you feel uncomfortable around him as well" Sherlock sighed. Sherlock knew there was always to be something afraid of something. "I know one thing is certain I have to do this for myself and for the innocent humans that are being harmed by this conflict" Sherlock confidence was rekindled his arm fell down knowing Akumu wouldn't shake his hand. "Also I've read each book in my collection well over a hundred times I knew you must be wondering about that, reading is the only way to learn about human culture so at first then it became a hobby of mine" Sherlock said explaining why he got interested in reading in the first place. Sherlock smiled and he stood up straight properly. Sherlock was telling the truth just to tease Akumu he saw the questioning look in his eyes. | |

| “Uncomfortable?” Akumu asked as he looked at the other with a light tilt of the head. “When master appears unannounced, yes, I do become quite uncomfortable, but on schedule visits I find myself just find around him,” the old attendant said to the other before he was slipping off the sofa and standing up with a light stretch.
As he stretched, the other spoke on about his own task to which Akumu nodded to lightly. “I can understand that easily enough, but fear not. I will go with you to visit master as I have stated before. Even if our paths are different, I wouldn’t want anyone to face-off with the other when uncomfortable,” Akumu said as he watched the other drop his hand.
From there, the other opened his mouth again and made a comment about the books he had collected. He spoke on how he had read each over a hundred times and also spoke of his interest in learning about humans. As the older attendant listened and watched the actions of the other, a light smile played across his lips as he shook his head lightly.
“I suppose my reason for accompanying you to visit master should be instead to keep you out of trouble rather than support you. With thoughts like that who knows what sort of madness you may unleash,” Akumu said his eyes narrowing with delight as he teased the other back gently. He knew how to play, even if the younger ones viewed him as stuck up and dry at times.

| Sherlock smirked at Akumu's stale since of humor and chuckled a bit. Sherlock smiled at his older brother and smiled this hole situation has gone off track. Sherlock decided to speak up "well look at the time it appears we were talking for quite a while brother I have things to tend to meet me in a few days to talk to the Master until then I bid you adieu until then I have a few other things to do" Sherlock explained himself and went somewhere else in the Velvet Room to complete some sort of Task. Sherlock disappeared quite quickly waving to Akumu while running backwards.

| He managed to get a smile from his younger sibling despite his out of date sense of humor. Even if the smile and chuckle were fake, the older attendant appreciated being humored like that. In any case, after the small moment had passed the younger of the pair eventually spoke up saying that they should meet up in a few days to go visit Master before mentioning he had other things to do. To his words, Akumu nodded.
“Fair enough. Until next we meet then. Take care,” Akumu said giving a bow in response to the wave the other gave as he went further into the Velvet Room to perform whatever duty he had been tasked with. As for Akumu, he moved back towards the shadows of the Velvet Room and sunk back into them. He had much to do If he wanted to make some progress with the mystery of the broadcast. Maybe in a few days time he would have clearer paths…or perhaps more of a mess than he had bargained for.
Thread has ended.
