Appearance: Jack is a man of average build and height (5 foot 10 inches and 130 pounds), but looks rather scrawny and weak at first glance. He has long shaggy black hair that reaches down to about half way down his neck. His eyes are a rich light brown color, matching his skin. He wares a pair of glasses though his eyesight isn't truly that bad. When not in costume he almost always wears a pair of baggy camo cargo-pants and a black T-Shirt with an large yellow letters on the front that read "Don't Panic". Around his neck he wears a replica "Core Drill"

Personality: Jack may seem to act like a scatterbrained , snarky and slightly rude and sarcastic know-it-all, but that's only because he is a scatterbrained , snarky and slightly rude and sarcastic know-it-all. However if you can get past his sarcasm and brash sense of humor you will find a loyal and devoted friend that would use his snark in your defense instead of on you. Deeper then the snarky aloof exterior however, is a strong sense of justice. Because, after all, this whole mascot thing is just a temp thing until his super hero carrier takes off.

—Description: Sense he was able to raise a sword, Jack has been training to use them like the masters of old. Mostly self taught from guides online, if it's got a blade, chances are he can use it.

—Description: Maybe it's his thick head, maybe it's just pure manliness, but things that would stop most people in their tracks, just don't seem to faze Jack. The secret is though... He's a bit of a masochist.

The Background

History: In the beginning there was nothing... Then in an instant the universe was born... Born by chance or will of the divine the universe came into being. Then skip a couple trillion years where nothing really of note happened, and Jack Rannells was born. Born into an average middle class family, Jack had a very average child hood. With average friends and attended an average school. The two things not average about Jack, one is his above average intelligence and his near savant levels of super hero knowledge, which is a nice way of saying he really REALLY likes super heroes. Being able to muddle through classes, Jack focused on what was truly important, absorbing as much hero material as possible, his personal favorite being Neo Featherman R.

Once he reached Highschool Jack was admitted to the prestigious Zele Academy to study the ancient and sacred arts of Mechanical Engineering. By day he attends class and studies kinda hard but not really. By night he is a mascot at Galaxy Theme Park. By even later at night he is... well frankly asleep... but what he wants to be doing above all else is fighting crime! To this end he has developed a plethora of crime fighting technology to hopefully be used in the future.

Will Jack become the next Feather Man Ranger? Only time will tell.

All I need is some kind of fighting or combat-related weakness that balances out your sword strength and you're all approved. You can replace one you already have with it if you want.

Also quick question, once I'm approved do I wait till I get my persona to post it or should I make it right away?

You should make that a specific amount, like 5% if that is the weakness you want. As for the Persona you can take your time before making one since you don't awaken right away.

Appearance: Jack is a man of average build and height (6 foot tall and 140 pounds), with a muscular and broad build. He has short shaggy black hair reaching about to his ears. His eyes are a rich light brown color, matching his skin, though he dose wear contacts that make his eyes red... cus ya know... It's cool and all.

Over the years, Jack's personality has matured... Slightly... He's still his excitable thickheaded and overly friendly old self, but he dose carry himself with a bit more of a professional vibe. His time in the police academy taught him respect, and how to better carry himself in day to day life. Happy and full of pep, the only thing that really set's Jack off is injustice and the mistreatment of others. His sense of right and what is just drives everything he dose.

Will Jack become the next Red Ranger? Only time will tell.

Well time did tell... and it did so through the the "Event" that tested humanity two years ago... He did his best to lead his hodgepodge team of ranger's to victory, however... In doing so he lost the first person to truly believe in him. His true brother and closest friend, Nilo. The event tested the very fiber of Jack's being. Though he faltered and he fell from time to time, he stood to the occasion and rose whenever he fell. He grew much from the event and made many friends he still holds onto even to this day. The loss of one in particular, however, he still wishes to undo. The Angle who granted him his power, who left with little more then a good bye... Though he knows it to be largely pointless, he made it a point to go to the tower where they met at least once a week sense the event ended to wait for her...

Once the event ended, after he faced true death and helped defeat it, he finally understood what it meant to be a hero thanks to the sacrifice of his friend and brother in arms, Hyde. He learned that a hero is not the one the public praises, and not the one who's name is remembered through all time. The true hero is the one who fights and puts his life on the line, in spite of the fact that the world will never know his name. Thanks to Hyde Jack was able to move on from his mantel of the Red Personanger. Though the public at large took little notice of the loss of their loud red hero, a few took note...

In place of his red suit, Jack began to wear the blue of a police uniform. Deciding to proceed with his plans to graduate early from high-school and enter the police academy.

Over the last two years not only has Jack graduated from the police academy with an old friend by his side, but a new face has replaced the old Personanger Red. By day the streets are patrolled by the mild mannered Officer Rannells, however... by night the final evolution of the protector of the islands takes flight... (Even though everyone knows it's him... Though they let it slide for the simple fact that he's still technically on duty)

That hero has a name that those who even care to remember it.

Reversing the hands of fate. Clad in the red and black of those fallen, he rises to defend all he loves. He is...
