Masahiro dresses rather sloppily for an adult. He never buttons his shirts up all of the way, nor does he ever care much about tucking his shirt in. His shoes are scuffed and his hair is unkempt. His chin is scruffy, but not too wild. He has bags under his eyes from restless nights at the office. He stands 5'11" and 165 lbs. He walks with a slight slouch. He looks miserable, but looking into his eyes, one can see a determination to protect and live.
Personality: Masahiro has been a troubled youth. Being bisexual has always confused him, so he often would stay secluded from others during his younger years, this had an impact on his life, making him feel worthless and lonely, even today he sometimes feels that way. He just wishes that he could find someone who loves him for who he is, never having to worry about judgement from others. He's always felt that way, he never seemed to shake it.
But it's not all bad. From his loneliness, sparked other great things to happen to him. He gained his love of writing and his open mindedness, which has helped him form a few friendships and love interests over the years. From this open mindedness came his wisdom. He's one to not think about silly things in dramatic situations and uses logic and reasoning to solve most of his problems. This wisdom has made him seem to be a father figure to others that are younger than him. He's constantly asked advice from others, but he never minded it. He always loved helping people.
Some people call him kind, but his worthless attitude towards his life has always blinded him of his positive traits. It's like he never had any good ones. He never knows of the many wonderful things that he has in life, yet others constantly remind him of it. He's contemplated a few times in his life. But the closest he's ever gotten to it was the day of the lock down. If it never happened, he would have went home and ended it. How we would have ended it, he didn't know, he may never know. But he does know that it was going to happen. He keeps his sadness locked up inside of him, but he might bring out his happiness. Will he find that happiness himself or will others help him accomplish it?
The Potential
Strengths:
—Strength Name: Father Figure —Description: Many of the young journalists at his office consider him to be a father figure. They always come to him for advice and usually leave satisfied. He likes to help out younger people and has accepted it as his place in the office.
—Strength Name: Willing to Help —Description: Masahiro will never turn down a stranger in need. He will always help them out to the best of his ability, he'll never think selfishly when it comes to others, which helps him befriend others rather easily.
—Strength Name: Kind —Description: Masahiro is an overall kind person. He helps old ladies cross the street. He holds doors open for everyone, the normal kind stuff. Even though he may not look kind, rather, he looks miserable, he is nice to everyone.
—Strength Name: Open Minded —Description: Masahiro is open to possibility. He doesn't keep his opinions stone solid, but he'll often give a lot of thought to an opposing argument when his opinions are challenged. Logic is a key element in winning him over.
—Strength Name: Great Memory —Description: Though it is not photographic, Masahiro remembers a lot of things, from what he ate this morning to what he ate last month. He remembers a lot of things, since it's his job to do so, then write his memory down.
Weaknesses:
—Weakness Name: Suicidal —Description: The day of the lock down was the day that Masahiro was going to end his life. He felt like his life was meaningless, that he wasn't going to do anything with it. He thought that ending his life would let him stop wasting space. "Luck intervened, so he doesn't feel like killing himself anymore, but he definitely has the problems of wanting to kill himself still in his mind.
—Weakness Name: Lonely —Description: Masahiro didn't know the last time he fell in love, or even, if anyone fell in love with him. He's been rather lonely for the longest time. He doesn't have many friends, either. He is looking for love and friendship, but the lock down can only throw more mystery into the equation. Will he get to find someone who loves him? A friend? Only time can tell.
—Weakness Name: Slightly Perverted —Description: Whether it be men or women. Masahiro is attracted to them. He isn't obvious with his perversion, but if he notices an attractive feature about the person is he next to or within sight of, he won't feel bad about thinking a dirty thought or two, but will never blatantly stare or harass anyone.
—Weakness Name: Worthless —Description: Masahiro thinks that he is worthless. He doesn't equate to anything, his life is meaningless. This is all according to him. He'd rather give up his place on Earth for someone else, rather than stay alive, but now that he got "lucky," will he continue to think this way?
—Weakness Name: Count Your Blessings —Description: Masahiro doesn't know of the many blessings that he has in his life, like his amazing job, or the people who look up to him, or the many wonderful things he could be thankful for. He doesn't realize that he has them.
Soul Bound Weapon: (This is the weapon you'll be able to summon to your hand while in combat. This weapon is special for your character specifically and allows you to fight Shadows without the need of summoning your Persona. This can be anything but a Gun (Or gun related weapon))
Weapon Name: Crowbar Weapon Description: An old crowbar, it was hardly ever used, but it is rusting a little. It works as great as any Persona. He grabbed it from his car when the lock down began. Weapon Attack Type: Strike Weapon Element: (Leave this blank. Only special weapons obtain an element behind its blows.)
The Background
History: Masahiro was born a Tokyoite. He spent his days growing up alone, in the care of his overprotective father and mother. They were always worried about Masa's lack of friends. But they could never fix anything about it. They then learned about his bisexuality, but accepted him unconditionally They would go to more extremes to protect their son, pushing other kids away to prevent them from hurting poor Masa. If anything, it messed him up, but not as terribly as a horrible family would have.
High school came a lot of changes for Masa. He moved to Port Island with his family. They thought that Tokyo was too much for Masa and thought that a smaller city would do him better. He came out easily to his friends and had a few boyfriends and girlfriends, but they never lasted long. High school love is fickle. He spent a lot of time being lonely, but managed to get through it.
Later, in college and into the job market. Masa never had much success outside of work. He often would go to speed dates and would try to meet friends and clubs and activities in the city. But they never lasted long. He spiraled down into depression that lasted a long time. Even though he succeeded in being popular and have a lot of friends at the office, he never saw that. His blindness was his downfall. On the first day of the lock down, he went to work, planning to end it all when he got home. Who knew that he would never get home? Maybe he'll never return home.
