| Tykal Mahavari "Don't leave... come back... I don't want to be alone anymore!"
The Biography
|
Birth Name: Tykal Mahavari Aliases: Gender: Male Age: 17 Birth Day: 05/26/1997 Arcana: The Moon Evoker: Tarot Place of Residence: School Dorms School Year: Third Year Class: 3-C
After School Club: Fencing Club & Arts & Music Club
Part Time Job: Greenhouse Assistant Appearance: A tall slender man roughly 6'2" in height and estimated 168lbs in weight. Appearing slightly older than he looks but still maintaining a youthful enough appearance that he can be identified as a student. His untamed hair caressing part of his ears and falling just to the nape of his neck. The mixture of unnatural greys in his hair shielding his brow and drooping towards his cheeks. Through the unkempt strands of his hair sat his near cerulean colored eyes. A strong light colored blue that blended with the fading green color near the pupil. His long fingers, that were usually kept busy, now slept at his side pointing towards his defined yet slender legs. The boy rarely dressed outside of what was considered proper for someone his age. Khaki pants or slacks with long sleeved collared shirts under vests or sometimes, depending on the weather, he’d simply forego the under shirt all together and wear his vest open (when not at school) showing his cream colored abdomen that was just beginning to show signs of potential definition to it.
Personality: Mahavari isn’t known for being the warmest person. He excels in his studies and extracurricular activities, being very driven on success in whatever he chooses to participate in. He comes off as quiet and disconnected most of the time. He has a tendency to give short close-ended answers. This is due primarily to his shyness towards others which is carefully hidden behind a guise of egotistical sarcasm or excused by his focused path. Mahavari longs desperately for friends and companionship but finds himself pushing people away rather than engaging them. He seems to keep a cool head most of the time but due to a competitive nature and lack of highly developed social interaction, when he does lose his temper he can come off aggressive and completely 180 from his normal behavioral patterns. In his clubs he accepts winning graciously and losing with nothing more than a realization that he lacked what was necessary to win. Aside from the Fencing Club, he does enjoy many other sports or athletic past-times. They lack “finesse” and that is all he will say on the matter. Strangely enough Mahavari finds himself fascinated with magic tricks and sleight of hand. It was out of his fascination he began to practice juggling and knife throwing. Though he thinks other might find that strange and keeps it a secret. Mahavari his very prideful holding his pride as the most important factor of his being. Mahavari holds aesthetics in high regards as well. His ‘untamed’ hair and causal appearance are but mere facades to blend in easier with people. Due to the desire to ‘fit in’ and open possibilities for companionship, despite his near subconscious need to push people away, he has trained himself to react and change his behaviors to fit the crowd of people he’s with. This normally occurs when he’s in a group activity. What he allows people to see is the confidence and respectable behavior that he believes is desirable in others. In truth, he is very lonely and insecure about how other perceive him. He feels a need to put up boundaries and barriers to keep himself from getting hurt. Mahavari also is ashamed of his knowledge of botany and other stereotypical aesthetics. The only logical reasoning this holds relevance to him is his sexual preferences. Mahavari is bi-sexual but due to his like of things considered ‘pretty’ or classy it is perceived as feminine in nature, not that he makes a point of acting overly masculine but it could tip the scales and how others perceive him and that is a fear of his. Mahavari also suppresses his obsession with romance and ambience to the scene. Feeling it makes him too emotional, he wears another guise around others finding the only available time to confront his internal conflict being during his part-time work, where he is often left alone to tend to his duties. In shame he also hides that he works in a greenhouse and deflects any questions about his part-time job or simply lies and says he works in packaging. Mahavari’s greatest fear is dying alone and being forgotten. This fear coincides with rejection. Other notable fears include: Heights, Failure, Being perceived as ugly or undesirable, and minor superstitious behaviors (I.E. black cats, breaking mirrors, walking under ladders, ect…)

The Background
|
History: Mahavari is a transfer student from India. His parents being from Australia moved to India just shortly before he was born. He was named after the mid-wife that delivered him. Though the Indiana culture was sparred to him as his parents often sent him to private institutes in other countries to give him a better future and cultural diversity. His relationship with his parents are nearly non-existent because of this he feels he is alone and blames his parents for a large part of his depression and scorns them for never being near. Having nothing to fuel him but a desire to succeed so he can take control of his own future away from the people he envied so much, Mahavari focused on his studies and extracurricular activities to build an impressive background. At Mahavari’s previous school he made a friend with a boy who took a liking to botany. Nurturing that friendship and exploring his interests, he found himself also enjoying nature and its beauty. Mahavari likes to watch flowers bloom and arrange them in a magnificent landscapes. His parents moved him away to strengthen his image in society and gardening was a visual display of aesthetics he could find relaxation in. Though a young man liking flowers and spending all of his time and personal interactions exclusively with a boy wasn’t taken kindly by other students who found him ‘weird’ or made accusations about his sexuality. Mahavari wasn’t upset about the sexual preferences they defined him as. He didn’t care what form romance came in as long as it was poetic romance. The thing that set him off that this thing he took so much joy in was considered feminine and gave him a bad image. Being quiet it was easy to hear the rumors and nasty things people said about him behind his back. Eventually he made the decision it was more important what others perceived him to be than what he saw in himself. He distanced himself from his friend and became an overachieving callous individual just to fit in. The internal stress of betraying himself and his beloved friend, he took the first chance to transfer to another school. Still repressing most of his inner thoughts and emotions this way he could start out fresh and be loved by everyone. He’d hide his desires to take joy in beauty and anything that would make him seem odd. He would do anything so he wouldn’t be alone and hated. Staying at the student dorms here, a new town, a new school, a new start, he was afforded several chances to discover himself. He focused his everything in to achievement. At his old school everyone loved and respected the academic leaders and the best and most talented at their clubs. So Mahavari worked to become them thinking it would solve his problems. It wasn’t until Mahavari was exploring the town that he saw the help wanted sign on the greenhouse. He could identify nearly every plant by their scientific names and when he saw them decaying due to lack of care, he felt a strange need to nurture them back to health. He was hired soon after and over his time working there the plants restored themselves to a healthy beauty, radiant and vibrant. In truth it wasn’t so much the plants that drew him in. It was that every time he went to work he was able to feel the same genuine happiness he had with his friend tending the gardens at his former school. The last time he was truly himself around people.

| Alrighty, looking good, just little details.
In appearance, you'll need to note his exact heigth, at least. Weight would be good as well, but that can possibly be omitted if you can't think of an exact number. Saying he's slender can be enough, as long as you have the heigth at least.
Similar thing with the soulbound. You'll need to add the exact dimensions of the knives. How long exactly are the blades?
Other than that, it'd be better to put the 5's in your strengths as %'s. It scales with your rank better that way.
That is all ^^ | |

| If you want to change those numbers in your strengths to percents go for it. Just all you need to do next is add a combat related weakness to balance out the two you have already. Then you'll be set. | |
