| Nilo shifted through the rows and rows of books, humming a quiet tune to himself. He wasn't exactly sure what he was looking for but he decided having a book to read could help him in his writing pursuits. He thought about the last short story he had written, wondering if he should focus on something more 'light hearted' than his usual dark and brooding stories. He continued his thoughts until he came across a book that caught his eye. He took it from the shelf and flipped through the pages, skimming the words as he did so. The book was on various fairy tales, some seeming dark, some seeming light. He debated whether or not to check it out but decided to maybe sit down and read some of the stories before finally choosing. He walked towards and empty table, making sure no one would be around to bother him later as he sat down, flipping the book open to the beginning of a fable. He finished the story quickly in which afterwords he took out a pencil and notebook from within a satchel slung over his shoulder. He wrote down a few notes on the story he just read before moving to the next one, repeating his process until he had filled out a whole sheet of notes. He tapped the pencil to his chin as he glanced over his notes, wondering what to create out of it. It hit him then, that inspiration that hit all writers. He quickly flipped to a clean sheet and began writing down a story. It was an odd story for him, instead of focusing on a negative aspect, it was focused more on 'friendship' and other such pursuits. It was a quiet day within the quite little town. To think that this town was the home of a simple boy wasn't far fetched in the slightest. This boy was the son of a baker and a tailor, two average people with average jobs. It wasn't a surprise when the boy woke up one day to his father asking him to run to the dairy farm out of town to bring some milk for the desserts that were going to be made for today's wares. The boy made his way to the dairy farm in due time, waving to the dairy made whom he received the milk from... Nilo stopped writing after a while, debating what the purpose of the story would be. He sighed slightly frustrated, not used to stories meant to be happy. He glanced back at the book of fairy tales, quickly flipping to one of the happier stories for more resources and then to his notes for even more. He continues this odd ritual until sighing and placing his pencil down, deciding to re-read his story before deciding what to do next. | |

| Mayu was in the library because she is bored and can't do anything. Also, the music room is locked so she can't play the school guitar on the room so she can pass the time. She walked through the shelves of books wondering what to read. She has no idea what to read especially for a guitarist like her. There are no books about music in the library. She thought maybe reading some novels will do. So she glanced to the small sections of novels and picked one. As she was about to go to the tables. All the tables were full but there is one and only a boy occupies it. The boy seems to be doing something not just reading. He must be doing an assignment. So she approached the white-haired boy hoping that she doesn't disturb him. "Hey there, I know you're busy but can I sit right beside you? All the tables are full and I don't wanna read alone" Mayu asked | |

| Nilo looked up at the girl, his focus on his writing disturbed by her question. He glanced at the other tables, realizing how quickly they filled up compared to the still empty one he was at. He inwardly sighed, realizing telling her no could lead to bad things happening to him. He was, however, slightly curious as to why the girl wished to sit next to him and not simply somewhere at the table. Maybe she wished to see what he was writing? He wasn't sure though. "Um... Yes, you can if you want too... I mean, I don't mind if that's what you're asking." he said politely, his also polite smile still on his face. He glanced at the girl one last time before returning to his writing, returning to his notes and the story he was using as inspiration. The story seemed to make sense in his mind, but he couldn't write it down. The thought bugged him as he returned to his work. She was a frail lady, the milk maid. Honestly, if one were to really look at her, she'd be considered unfit for any form of labor. She had a crooked leg and needed a cane to move around. All the while though, she smiled and did her work as well as she could. Today was an exceptionally ordinary day as the milk maid went to retrieve the milk for the baker's son.
"Please sit down, young one. You traveled far yet again." she said calmly to the boy.
"I'm okay, miss, honest. I need to get home quick, ya' know!" the boy replied, still out of breath from his run and walk to the milk farm... Nilo stopped writing then, glancing back to his notes, and to the story. He audibly sighed, frustrated that he couldn't keep a proper train of thought with the story. He decided to read over what he had written so far, analyzing it with a critical eye before seeming to loose hope on his writing. He had forgotten about the girl that had asked him to sit down and glanced up at her, inwardly tilting his head. He debated asking her a question, but decided against it. Thinking that she might get mad at him for asking it. He returned to his story after his glancing at the girl, sighing as he gave up hope on the it, returning to simply reading through the book a few more times before going to pack his things. He was tired and seemed annoyed; unhappy at his worthlessness.

| Mayu continued to read her book. It seems that the book was about the rich people use poor people to play their game called as the "Hunger Games" where 24 people, 2 participants in each which makes 12 districts in the story will fight each other to the death until there is only one left. This time, a girl named "Primrose Everdeen" was chosen but her older sister "Katniss Everdeen" volunteered to replace her as tribute then a boy named "Peeta Mellark" was partnered with her. I stopped there and looked at the boy right beside me. He seems to be bored and he seems to be worrying at something. "Hey there, are you okay?" I asked him. "Oh by the way, I am Mayu. You seem to be lonely, let's be friends!" I introduced myself with a smile.

| Nilo looked up at the girl, obviously taken back and startled by her sudden words. He was used to most people instantly hating or pitying him. He found this girl an absolute oddity, what was he supposed to say, exactly? He was quiet for a while, forming his words as carefully as possible.
"... I'm... Not lonely, but your request to be my friend is acknowledged and... A-Accepted." he said carefully, never breaking his polite exterior. He continued to pack his things but kept the book on the table, returning his gaze back on Mayu.
"My name is Nilo. Nilo Lockwood... I-It's a pleasure to meet you..." he said quietly. His gaze returned to his book after a short while. He was quiet when he did so, not seeming to want to continue talking, mainly because he wouldn't know what to say.
The library seemed to slowly be overcome with silence. Visitors became silent, finishing up home work or writing assignments as the sun slowly began to set. Nilo joined into the silence with out even meaning to, his whole attention on the book in front of him. | |

| Mayu noticed that Nilo is really a shy person because he is stuttering. She thought that he is stuttering because he is nervous and the reason why he is nervous because he is not used to talk to strangers like her. Mayu would then chuckle a little and smile at Nilo but then the smile fae away when she noticed that Nilo got silent and starting at the air. "Hey Nilo, is something bothering you?" Mayu asked Nilo with a really curious like accent and staring at him with her hands on her chin that means that she is really curious what's with Nilo. "It's ok you can tell me everything no matter how weird it is" Mayu added. | |

| Nilo looked up at Mayu, biting his lower lip and seeming a bit disturbed by the girl's outgoing personality. He was slightly agitated, not used to people wanting to talk to him and for him to do things outside of staying quiet. He sighed and shook his head, putting on a polite smile all the same.
"I'm okay. Your concern is not necessary... But um... It's getting late." he said, looking out the window to see an amber sky. He frowned lightly, realizing that getting home before his mom now would now be impossible. He stood up and took his book in hand, smiling at Mayu one last time.
"I need to go now, sorry... I wish you well." he said with his polite and composed tone. He walked back to the shelf where he got his book and put it back up before turning and leaving the library. He sighed, hoping he didn't hurt the girl's feelings by his sudden leave. Shaking his head he decided to focus on getting home as soon as possible, leaving the school quickly.

| "Ok..." the only thing that Mayu muttered as Nilo left. Mayu thought that Nilo really has a problem, problem in confronting people to be specific. Mayu thought that he seems to be more introverted or a shut-in or maybe even a loner. Mayu also thought that he keeps a polite face in front of people to hide his true feelings. Based on what she observed, all the facts that she thinked through are true. Mayu felt pity for Nilo for a second and she hopes that she can help Nilo whenever they meet again. After that, Mayu left the library as the bell rang.
