Lost in School [Open to everyone]

This was an odd turn of events. Just as Hyacintha had asked Kazuya what he thought they should do, the school bell rung causing the other to have to say his farewells. A bit sad to see the other go, Hyacintha waved goodbye to the retreating figure.

“Okay, see you later and thanks again for all the help!” she called to the other not really caring about any stares pass byers gave her as she continue to wave until Kazuya was out of sight.

Once the boy was gone, she sighed lightly as her head bowed and she turned to look over at Snow and the boy called Nilo. As she did this, she found herself tilting her head at what she saw.

For one reason or another Snow was focused on Nilo with a look of concern on his face and why was that look of concerned there? Well…

While Hyacintha was focusing on the problem at hand, Nilo had unintentionally gotten Snow’s attention. Snow didn’t quite understand what Nilo was doing, but that did not change the fact that he felt the small seconds that the boy’s eyes had lingered on him. Not really liking the stare, Snow had half a mind to actually look back over at the other to see what was up; however, just as the quiet young man was thinking of doing this, he saw an odd thing occur that wiped away some of his aggressiveness against the boy and changed it into something odd.

Snow could sense the huge amount of negativity washing off of the boy that only increased his thoughts of eating something…However, hunger was quickly pushed aside as his eyes shifted to focus fully on the other as a gasp of pain escaped from the boy's lips and the book he held so tightly slipped to the floor.

Forgetting about food for the moment, Snow became highly concerned as he watched the other struggling to reclaim the book that had fallen. The kid was in pain. Hmm…perhaps...Yeah...

As the other gasped in pain, Snow kneeled down and picked up the book tucking the book into his chest as he leveled the dark eyes behind the oval glasses with the one currently in pain.

“Nilo, tell me what you wish to do,” he said in a gentle and calm tone even if his face remained a blank slate. His eyes on the other hand held understanding in them and it seemed that  Snow was willing to help Nilo out of the situation. If the kid wanted to leave school or if he wanted to try and find the class he belonged in, either choice was fine with Snow. After all, all he was concerned about was if the kid was going to be okay or not. Until he was certain the kid would be fine, Snow would remain a slight bit of support to the other...

Hyacintha, who watched the scene, remained quiet and pleasantly surprised that Snow was actually being nice towards someone. She wasn’t sure exactly what was going on with Nilo, but she did not wish to see him in pain either. While she had agreed to help him find his class, she was not against helping him get to where he needed to be to rest up either. Still, she would let Nilo determine where to go from here.

Hyacintha and Snow’s Mood: Both concerned about Nilo in their own way, but still wish to help rather than harm Nilo.

Nilo kept his eyes closed tightly. He was, however, very surprised that Hyacintha and Snow didn't leave him for his display of patheticness. He slowly opened his eyes, tears slipping down his face as he stutters his words out. "I-I... Just need t-to g-get home..." he said weekly and pathetically, no longer forcing his fake composure on any more. His mind still swelled with negativity but instead of inevitable punishment, it revolved around self pity and shame. He kept his shaking hands close to him, the pain he felt was immense due to his foolishness at forcing himself to grab his book. He slowly stopped crying, trembling as he stood up to speak more properly. "M-My... House is n-near the park... I'm sorry..." he said quietly, his eyes puffy from crying and face stained with tears. "... I'm sorry..." is all he could say after that, staying relatively open to the other two, not retreating into his pit of despair like before. He didn't know why, but he felt oddly okay with the two, why exactly was unknown. He would usually reject any form of sympathy towards him, but with these two it was different. It was almost like being with his mom, he felt like everything would be okay. He was confused by these emotions, realizing such emotions would require at least a relationship, yet he had just met these two. He couldn't continue to think about it though, he needed to try and focus on what Hyacintha and Snow would do to help him. He gasped quietly as the pain shot through his hands again, his entire body trembling as a result.

Snow remained patiently kneeled before the other, taking note of the other’s actions as his serious eyes watched him. While some part of the young man saw this as an opportunity to exploit, the more human side of Snow kept his more animalistic side in check as he waited for the other to compose himself well enough to speak. As the boy opened his eyes and tears slipped down the other’s face, Snow’s expression of concerned remained as he kept a light grip on the book he had picked up. When the other began to speak, he listened to the words that came out.

As the other said he needed to get home, Snow nodded as he looked to his master for approval. To her nod, he looked back at the boy as he spoke.

“Then home we shall take you,” he said gently. “Where do you live?”

Once more, Snow was patient as the boy managed to get up, keeping his hands close to him as he moved. On instinct Snow, got up at the same time as the other just in case the boy needed aid of any sort. When the other stood, Hyacintha moved over to Nilo’s side and rubbed his back, trying to comfort him as he continued to cry. After a while, the other finally composed himself enough to be able to speak again. To his words,  Hyacintha smiled gently.

“There is no need to apologize. We all have our bad days. It’ll be okay,” she said to him in comforting tones before becoming slightly tense as the other gasped in pain once more and then his body began to tremble under her hand.

“Come on. Let’s get you home then. You can lean on me or Snow if you need to okay?” Hyacintha said to Nilo before she looked up at Snow with concern in her eyes. “Let’s go,” she told the other, who simply nodded as he took a position on the other side of Nilo. Keeping the book tucked under his right arm, Snow left his left arm free for the boy to lean against if need be as he and Hyacintha began to walk the boy out of the school and back to wherever his home was.
