My favorite color is blood! (Julian)

A field trip was organized for First to Third-year students of Zela Academy. Due to the extremely high amount of students involved, only a few classes were selected (one from each year) to go the trip per day, as having all of them at once would turn into a hell of a mess. The field trip was rather simple; just a visit to an art gallery with multiple replicas of famous paintings. Damasu's class eventually was selected to go the trip. He wasn't particularly excited about it, but he felt like he wouldn't be bored, either. Some authors enjoy painting images full of gore, which would be enough to entertain him until the end of the trip.
After his class entered the gallery and was allowed to roam freely, Damasu quickly split from the rest of the students and started looking at the paintings randomly, hoping to find something he liked. He might not have shown signs of boredom due to his constant smiling, but he sure was bored. Eventually, he found a painting that pleased him; one of two women sitting next to each other in a bench, one of them holding a bloody pair of scissors which appeared to cut through and artery protruding from her heart, exposed at her chest. Similarly, the other woman also had her heart exposed, but wasn't holding anything other than the other woman's hand. Damasu, captivated, decided to sit down on the cold floor, contemplating at the painting's abnormal, bloody details, until the time for the trip to end would arrive. That, or once a guard shooed him away. Whichever happened first. Surely, that painting would suffice until either of those happened.
"Ehehe... Beautiful. This artist is a genius.", Damasu thought to himself, as he very subtly chuckled in short intervals. Recoiling his legs and sitting in an Indian stance, he turned his neck slightly to the left, as his imagination filled his mind with images of violence and blood.

Yeah... That might have risen some suspicion. Luckily, that corridor wasn't too crowded, was it?...

(OoC: In case you're wondering about the painting, it's "The Two Fridas". I'm sure you'd know it, it's pretty famous. If not, and you're curious, look it up.)

    Art had never been Julian's thing. He could appreciate a well done picture or a good melody, sure, but wandering the halls of a gallery filled with classics wasn't exactly his idea of "fun". But hey, a field trip is a field trip, right? At least it broke the monotony of the school days.

    Now, as he was walking up and down the halls of this gallery, the teen couldn't help but rethink that statement.

    // Good God, they all look the same... // Silver eyes flickered dully from one painting to the next. Every sight they took in just solidified the indifferent etched on Julian's face. There realy was nothing very interesting here. And they still had a whole...what, hour?...before they left this wing and moved onto the next. Geez, how was he supposed to keep himself occupied until then?

    It was then that he almost accidentally kicked a guy sitting on the ground in front of a painting. Julian caught himself just in time before his sneaker made contact with the other's side, taking a slight step back in surprise. Did this guy have to sit right where people were walking? Didn't he know that was dangerous? ...Well, judging from that creepy little grin on his face, this guy apparently didn't care. "Hey." Julian would attempt to grab the guy's attention before he continued on with. "Y'might wanna scoot in a little more. Otherwise someone might not watch where they're going and hit you."

Damasu noticed how this guy almost hit him with his foot, not aware that Damasu was sitting there. First thing he did was look up to see who it was. The guy appeared to be a bit older than Damasu himself, and had a slightly feminine appearance with his hair and whatnot. Damasu could tell it was a guy due to his voice, but he probably would've had a hard time telling if it wasn't for that. Since the inconvenience broke him from his trance, he thought that he should at least chat with him for a bit.
Standing up and facing the student, Damasu tried to open some chat. Event though he had the painting to look at, alternatives for entertainment were always good.
Standing up and facing the guy, Damasu tried to at least rack up a conversation.
"Oh, sorry. I was appreciating this masterpiece. It's... Eh... Exciting, I guess. So... That's that. Ehe.", Damasu said, smiling.
"Do you enjoy art? Or would you be willing to shoot your brains out and watch them splatter on the floor out of boredom?", he added, to try and keep the chat going.

    The guy stood up, at least. Now maybe people wouldn't step on him. Who sat down in an art gallery anyways? It made more sense for someone to stand way too close and snap pictures or whatever. Ah, well. To each his own. Julian's silver eyes flickered to the painting for a moment, studying what the guy had deemed "exciting". Nothing really special there, he thought. Just two women sitting and holding each others bloody hearts. There wasn't a lot of action there at all. ...Maybe this guy was an art buff or something. "It's a good painting, I'll give you that." He smiled slightly, turning his gaze back to the boy. Sure, it wasn't an especially fun piece, but whoever drew it was a hell of a lot better than he was at art.

    ...That was a pretty graphic description right there. It almost made him pause for a second. Almost. But Julian recovered easily and instead chuckled lightly. "I'm not into art all that much, but it's a better alternative to straight out killing myself. There are lots of better things to do to get rid of boredom." He let his statement hang in the air a moment before he grinned and turned the question back on the student. "And you? Is art your thing or is there something else you'd rather be doing right about now?"

Damasu noticed how the older student seemed pretty calm. Eh, maybe he wasn't that much into blood as Damasu himself was. He decided to not take his comparisons to bloody situations too far just yet, as he probably needed a conversation partner to remain sane. He didn't want the other guy to run away, spooked, as conversation would probably prove to be far more interesting than drooling over a painting.
"...Ehe... Now that you ask... Well...", Damasu said, taking a deep breath and placing his index finger on his chin, as he kept smiling.
"I'd rather be appreciating the beauty of crimson-colored liquids, dripping down from a giant, flesh-colored cavity, about as tiny as a puppy, as the drops form a puddle large enough to play splash wars with it. I guess art is fine too, as long as it conveys something like that. Ehehe.", Damasu said. While he didn't want to scare away the older student, he still couldn't end up being fake to himself. After all... That's what made people nab interest in him, right? Maybe it was a good choice.
"...So, eh, you said there are better things to do to get rid of boredom, right? Such as... What? Eviscerating the museum guards? That sounds like a good idea. We should do that.", Damasu said, the words escaping from his mouth this time. Scratching his cheek, he hoped the student wouldn't leave him alone because of it. Anything would be more productive than just staring at bloody paintings. He kept his smile as a drop of sweat rolled down his forehead.
