Appearance: Roll is a pretty short girl, standing at about 5'3 and weighing about 44 Kgs in all. In terms of appearance, Roll is a pretty.... well, pretty girl who normally wears some make-up and usually dresses in pretty girly clothes, such as dresses and skirts, while keeping a muffler on at all times, no matter the weather unless her cosplay begs her contrary.

On to physical features in concrete, Roll possesses light pink hair falling at about the middle of her back while untied, though she usually keeps it tied into two pigtails hanging from the bottom instead of the top or sides, making it so they fall and rest on her shoulders or against her neck. Now onto body build, Roll's a pretty shapely girl whose body is pretty well-toned yet still feminine.

As part of her personality, Roll usually likes cosplaying and hiding her identity to the general public. When she disguises herself, her appearance tends to not change much at all, keeping itself to maybe a wig and colored contacts, as well as a change in wardrobe. The cosplay she likes to wear the most is of a genderbent character in a videogame, wearing one of his alternate costumes instead of his normal appearance.

Personality: Roll is... interesting... her personality tends to change depending on which costume she's wearing though she also usually keeps one trait throughout all of them, cheerfulness. While she can be said to be quite cheery in contrast to most people, that also only keeps itself to when she's feeling like it, her personality also being quite moody and tending towards mood swings and very irrational over-thinking of certain aspects, coupled with a bit of stubbornness towards everything and anything people say to her that she doesn't agree with.

Now, a very unusual aspect of her character is her ability to switch personalities like a mask, being able to put on a show for people however she wants, no matter how she wants it. This makes her a very good actress but also a very good deceiver.

Roll, though, only lives for one thing and one thing alone, keeping Masayoshi safe. She sacrifices her personal life to supply him his pills and keeping him healthy, Masayoshi himself being the only lifeline that keeps her tied to this world still.

Strengths:

—Strength Name: Mistress of Disguise
—Description: Roll doesn't fool around when it comes to cosplaying. Her ability to adapt to a different persona and changing her own body shape makes her incredibly well-versed in the arts of disguising. In truth, Roll has studied a lot about how certain materials work and how to make them influence her body while keeping it clean from any harmful substances. Normally, this strength allows her to pass as someone else quite easily provided she can imitate the persona well-enough in terms of appearance.

—Strength Name: Grand Couturier
—Description: Her hands are golden. Simply that, she's extremely dexterous with both her hands and is ambidextrous, making it so she's able to switch hands at any time with ease and making the handling of weapons much easier. This also works in tandem with Mistress of Disguise strength, where she's able to mimic the person's main hand as well as their personality and looks.

—Strength Name: Seamstress
—Description: Roll is a Goddess at sewing, her costumes are the envy of all professional costume-makers. Her costumes are filled with great detail and are usually of the best quality fabric she can find, making them also quite durable and hardy. Seeing as she usually wears clothing made by her specifically, her defenses are pretty much always top-notch and tend to block most half-assed attacks.

—Strength Name: Memory fit for an Elephant
—Description: Roll's memory is almost exactly like the Akashic Record. Everything and anything she sees or hears, she can remember and recall the exact moment. Indeed, this makes it so she also has knowledge of the underworld where she gets Masa's medication. Regardless, this also is complementary to her Mistress of Disguise strength, making it so she's able to remember a script word by word and not mess up once. The girl is literally a human tape recorder.

—Strength Name: Animal whisperer
—Description: Due to her bond with Masayoshi, Roll is an adept animal caretaker and can usually know just what they're saying to the word, making her very able to communicate with animals. Though this ability is usually more apt towards dogs and not all animals follow this rule... there might be some who she can't understand at all, no matter what they're saying.

Weaknesses:

—Weakness Name: Wide open
—Description: Roll has no idea how to defend herself at all... seriously, the girl thinks that just putting her hands in front of her would be enough to stop any incoming attacks unless told otherwise. In combat, this translates to a lower percentage blocked when guarding, reaching only 40% instead of the usual 50%.

—Weakness Name: Severe Depression
—Description: Roll... can't keep up with life... at all. Without Masayoshi, her will to live would have wavered long ago and this doesn't result well in her life right now. She takes anti-depressants as well as anxiety medication to help deal with these problems, both by prescription through the same doctor, making them very legal to take.

—Weakness Name: Being a couch potato doesn't help you
—Description: Roll is extremely lazy, despite her cheerful attitude. She may have a nice figure and and strong limbs, but her stamina is awful and she can't really keep up with most people at a time. While she can take a rest sometimes while battling, Roll prefers to walk slower to avoid it altogether, making it so she tends to fall behind the group while in dungeons.

—Weakness Name: Scaredy-cat
—Description: Roll is usually startled by most everything and, without someone she trusted by her side, she wouldn't even try to go into a dungeon. This doesn't really affect her performance in battle, though, as when she sees what she's facing, her fears go away and instead, Roll chooses to follow through and make Masa proud of her.

—Weakness Name: Accidental Tattle-Tale
—Description: Roll can't keep a secret, that's just how it is. Having too much stuff stored inside her head, Roll just can't keep up with very simple orders to match it, such as keeping a secret. This doesn't mean she isn't trustworthy, though, as, for a good friend of for a very important secret, she'll try her best not to let it slip out to the best of her ability, though this is usually short-lived and the easier alternative would just be to not tell her any secrets instead.

The Background

History: Roll's story, while much less of a mystery than Masa's, is still a long-winded road of depression, anxiety and lots and lots of medication and treatment, as well as a lot more than a handful psychiatrists to treat her.

Through her early years, Roll was just a normal girl, living with her father, Doctor Thomas Light, seeing as her mother died long before her memories could even start developing, making Doctor Light a single father throughout most of her life. While she was a normal girl living a normal life, you could say her true style of living didn't start until she was finished with Middle School, at 14 years old. Though High School was a shock for her and did give birth to multitude of complexes and conditions, Roll's life developed mostly in this time, seeing as her personality defined itself in them as a cheery girl on the outside who uses that facade to hide her depression.

Roll's life spiraled, though, when she was 16, when her father adopted Masayoshi into the house, making him her best friend. Masayoshi's arrival marked the end of her taking anti-depressants and almost any medication for at least 2 years, seeing as the dog was a loving, caring animal who truly made it possible for Roll to survive. This, however, ended as Roll's father was killed in a laboratory accident, which Roll knows is related to Masayoshi, though doesn't blame him, seeing as it isn't his fault directly.

As for her life right now, Roll is still a very cheerful girl who tends to still use that facade to hide her feelings. Still, though, recently, Roll tends to prefer revealing some of what she's feeling to others, reflected in her moody personality and mood swings. She has started taking anti-depressants again, though they are prescription medicine by her doctor, making them perfectly legal.

Tying in to Masayoshi's history, she can't live without him at all, seeing as he's now the only family she has and the only one so far she can truly call a friend. While she lives alone with him now, Roll doesn't mind having people over and, usually, walks out on the streets mostly alone, not taking Masa with her and leaving him as a guard dog to the house she inherited. As an added bonus, Roll has no idea Masa is able to summon his Persona fully and still thinks he takes the medication just to be able to not be killed by it, making it so Masa keeps his power a secret from Roll and they're never together in battle.
