Persona Appearance: The Kalku appears as a 2.5 meters tall cloaked figure floating in the air, usually behind its user when first summoned. It resembles the typical image associated to a Grim Reaper, with a shadow seemingly covering the entirety of its face. In reality, the Kalku has no face, and it’s actually a mass of compressed black shadows with the form of a man below the cloak. The Kalku carries around a big, square oil lamp, similar to that of his owner, but much bigger and darker in color.

Persona Background: The Kalku is a sorcerer from the Mapuche tradition that works using the power of wekufe (“spirits or wicked creatures”), or in simple terms, black magic. Also called witches, the Kalku inhabit the southern regions of Chile, specifically the forests or islands where normal civilization hasn’t reached yet (this is a trait usually given to the Warlock of Chiloé, however). Most of them are malicious beings that cause harm to normal people: there are many stories of a Kalku making travelers lose their way, use their magic to make others lose their sanity or capture people so they can experiment on their bodies, feeding their remains to their many demonic familiars. Despite their evil nature, many are known to be researchers that spend their lives trying to think of new ways to control and use the wekufe.

Just like a Kalku, Leander’s a man that seeks knowledge, and the fact that his Persona takes the form of a user of black magic may point at Lea’s darker thoughts: his quest for knowledge being more important than the welfare of others.

Type of Damage: Elemental / Bad Status
Description: Both Leander and Kalku lift their oil lamps at the same time. The flame inside each oil lamp grows bigger, until they turn into 2 eerie-looking fireballs made out of white flames. The white fireballs exit their lamps and start spinning around Leander and Kalku together, until they fuse into a single fireball. Leander then can choose where to shoot the big flame. If it hits, the flame does Tier 3 Agi damage to the target. Afterwards, the white energy inside the sphere scatters through the area, with a 20% chance of inflicting the Panic ailment to anyone around Leander, be it friend or foe, while increasing the overall luminosity of the place as well.

Cost: 6 SP.
Type of Damage: Bad Status
Description: Similar in effect to the Evil Touch skill. Leander simply needs to look at his target’s eyes and concentrate in order to use this skill (the target doesn’t need to look back at him, and if the target has no eyes, then anything that Leander considers to be an “eye”, an organ for seeing or perceiving things, can work). It has a 30% chance of inflicting Fear ailment to one enemy. 50% chance may stop their next attack. Wears off after 3 turns.

Make it 6 SP, since you're adding an extra 5% to hit the next threshold of chances for your Human Skill, and you are approved.
