Long Time no See (Chapter 2) - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Long Time no See (Chapter 2)   Long Time no See (Chapter 2) - Page 2 EmptyWed Oct 01, 2014 11:57 am

Daiki would look at the face of the boy who greeted them. He seemed to be familiar, “Do I know you?” One of the few things Daiki was decent at was recognizing faces. He stopped to think as he tried to place the face, “You were a classmate of mine… Right?” He knew where he saw him, but not who the guy actually was. Before he could finish his train of thought, he noticed that the other man was flirting with Tomoe. He knew that kind of thing well enough himself that he could recognize it with little effort. Even worse, Tomoe seemed to be getting flustered by it. She seemed to brush it off though. That made him sigh in relief. One of the other women who had been here when they showed up seemed to have the same reaction as she threatened him with a blade. If he wasn’t so terrified of that woman’s wrath, Daiki may have actually laughed.

He would listen to Natashi explain what they had been missing out on and nod in confusion. This was not something he was used to. When he asked about the boy they saw, he would nod and Tomoe’s observation before adding his own, “Maybe he was a demon of some sort. Many demons find comfort in eating the unfortunate souls they come across. I also do not know many people who look as if they are sewn together. I’m actually wondering if that stitching is good enough to keep a body from falling apart.” Of course Daiki’s first reaction when seeing Aburai turn into a different boy was to look at his clothing, and catch sight of the thread that was buried in his flesh. It wouldn’t be Daiki if he wasn’t trying to look at someone’s clothing, “But I do have a question. Who is Souka?” If that had been explained, he still didn’t get it. He felt as if he was missing a really big piece of information. Or maybe he was just too slow to pick this entire thing up so quickly.

Long Time no See (Chapter 2) - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Long Time no See (Chapter 2)   Long Time no See (Chapter 2) - Page 2 EmptyThu Oct 02, 2014 12:13 am

Natashi's words had the girl's lips drawing into a thinner and thinner line. This man was just...impossible. How could he talk so flippantly? It reminded her of the way he'd acted last year after that mask of his had taken on a life of its own: still proud, still aloof, and undoubtedly arrogant. Merely associating the two occurrences made her want to shout at or hit him or...or something. So what if they had the same goal of reaching the top of the tower? He'd never exactly proven himself to be trustworthy before. Why in the world should she and the others team up with him now? Who was to say he wasn't planning something? The possibility certainly existed, and that alone put her on guard.

Just before Destiny could cave in to her steadily growing annoyance, Tomoe's voice cut in. ...The woman had a point, she supposed. She didn't like it one bit, of course, but Tomoe had the luxury of not being at the shrine last year and seeing firsthand what Natashi had done. ...Could that mean she was letting anger cloud her judgment...? The thought tripped her up enough that her features relaxed and she actually tried to listen to what Natashi was saying.

The talk, the team's acceptance of this sudden support group and the talk of the disturbing young man they'd met in the tower didn't quite ease the blonde's worries about this whole thing. She still didn't trust this man. But if the others decided it alright to work with him and the rest of his group, she supposed it would be alright. Choosing to stay quiet for the time being, the girl idly toyed with the ends of her hair, listening intently to the discussion surrounding both Daiki's question and Tomoe's report. How much did the other five know about this tower, anyways?

PostSubject: Re: Long Time no See (Chapter 2)   Long Time no See (Chapter 2) - Page 2 EmptyThu Oct 02, 2014 9:50 pm

Kogami had an even bigger grin when he saw Kahn. “Kahn! I was wondering when you would show up. I thought your pride would get the best of you when you failed to save Lori. To make matters worse, Arubai gave you quite the beating. I was a little late, but I have to know. Did it hurt? Did he make you cry?” Kogami said this with the same innocent smile that he had, he couldn’t help himself. “I’m just joking; at least you aren’t dead, thanks to me of course. So were continuing with the negotiations of playing nice, but me and Kahn are professionals. Just with how we operate, there’s a hint of comedy with each word we say to each other, good times.” Kogami finished his water and brushed himself off as he started to open his bag of chips as he turned to Vera. “These Doritos are pretty good, so I hear. No disagreements here, right?”

Kogami then turns to the rest of the group. “So, are we ready to kill everybody in the tower and get on with our lives? I sure am, since the crawling chaos and philemon split from this world, I don’t have to intentionally make my life about annoying you persona users anymore. After this, I’m free to do whatever the fuck I want, I already have my freedom. So you guys are safe, we just need our world back. " Kogami would say as he takes another bite of his chips. He was pretty smooth before Kan showed up, but maybe there was hate. There was hate that Kan wasn't strong enough to back up Gabby, putting her in danger.

Long Time no See (Chapter 2) - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Long Time no See (Chapter 2)   Long Time no See (Chapter 2) - Page 2 EmptyFri Oct 03, 2014 1:45 pm

In almost a flash, even more users appeared on the scene. None of them looked familiar except one, and the violet eye'd female would look at them with a piercing gaze. This was the same male she had attacked before. Also the same one she had saved from Aburai when she was sent on a mission to kill Gabriela. It seemed like fate kept making their paths cross. Regardless, Natashi explained things to this new group that he had explained to her before. However he said something interesting. Leave a "Souka" to him? So that boy from his childhood, Souka, was somehow still alive then? This was confirmed? Vera stroked her chin in thought and concern, but if he wished to handle that person himself then she'd not stop him. So when he asked if she had questions, she simply shook her head. Vera felt she was in the clear, but one of the newcomers deliberately said she had noticed her. This caused the violet haired girl to shoot her a gaze before looking away without a word.

Now it came down to listening. Apparently they ran into Aburai in the tower? Well, perhaps a fake Aburai like there was a fake Gabriela? No, that didn't seem to be the case, as they mentioned the man transforming into a "green haired kid". This made Vera's eyes widen abit, and she moved to Kogami's. Pulling his sleeve, she'd pull him off to the side abit. "Shibuya, did you happen to check the Deepnight Deadline recently? I remember seeing a green haired fellow on there aswell. And with what they're saying about him, it seems this person that appeared on that webshow was the same person they encountered in the tower. If that's the case, then I think it's safe to say those who appeared on that channel are our enemies. Maybe there are more than just Shadows we'll need to deal with the further we go up. Perhaps he was an ally of that Yatagarasu? If so, why didn't we see Yatagarasu on the Deadline aswell? These questions are beginning to pile up. . ." She said this in a low tone so only herself and Shibuya could hear. When she was telling him this, the rest of the group was too busy talking to Natashi. The fact they said he was stitched together did make the Ice Princess question if the male on that show was even human.

Once all was said and done, and Kogami made snide remarks towards this 'Kahn' person; it appeared perhaps they were preparing to re-enter the tower? Vera had no interest in carrying people who couldn't help themselves. So she was not so willing to toss aside her own morals and become buddy buddy with them for the good of everyone. "If you all plan on going back within that tower, then go for it. I plan to stay here and do alittle brainstorming anyway. I'll leave the second floor to you." With that said, she took a bottled water and walked off from the group, sitting by a tree in the courtyard and removing her journal from her vest to jot down some notes. She didn't look up, or acknowledge them once, the moment her pen touched the pages.

Long Time no See (Chapter 2) - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Long Time no See (Chapter 2)   Long Time no See (Chapter 2) - Page 2 EmptyFri Oct 03, 2014 3:10 pm

More and more people appeared, and Kirito took notice to one and began to wave. "Wendy's-kuuuuun~" She continued to wave, though it was pretty unsafe considering her swords were still in hand and swinging about wildly. "Where's that one feminine looking guy Wendy's-kun is always with?" Her eyes looked left and right, searching around for another to appear but they did not. On the other hand, Natashi fell silent for abit once hearing the information about this boy who was posing as Aburai within the tower. He didn't say a word, but the expression on his face was stern. An expression that was never displayed on his face. He soon caught this and gave a playful laugh. "Well I guess that's someone we'll have to deal with down the line. Just try to keep your distance from him. I'm sure it's unavoidable that we'll need to face them, but you kids need abit more fire power before taking him on. Trust me. Take from me when I say, that brat is immortal." Natashi's eyes shot to the muscle head who said he'd work with anyone and the man shrugged his shoulders. "Some things never change with you brats. The past is the past, right? Let's move on to a brighter future. It's the adult thing to do, after all."

Another young man mentioned something about the mysterious green haired individual being a demon. Well, he wasn't too far off with that, but Natashi simply kept smiling. However, there was question about Souka, and the dark haired man thought for a few seconds before responding. "Just a close friend of mine. He's somewhere in that tower and I need to find him." Things seemed to be calming down before the male who appeared with the purple haired girl spoke up to Kahn. His words seemed to be pretty mocking, so most likely these two had a history together? He even brought up Aburai. So was Aburai involved with him? Was he one of the kids there when Aburai lost it? Natashi fell quiet and his smile turned into that of a thin frown. He seemed to be thinking of something...

Then things continued on with the violet haired female walking off to tell Kogami something, and then deciding to leave the second floor to the rest. She went to go rest by a tree, and Natashi raised his brow and looked back at everyone else. "Well then... Meeting adjourned, I suppose for now? Our fourth member will contact you all from your phones, so keep them on you. In the meantime, Satoshi, Yotsuin, and myself will be setting up shop out here. Do try to get along, alright? We're going to head into town and gather some supplies. Once you clear the floor, we should be done by then."

Natashi gave a nonchalant wave and turned his back to the group. He'd be leaving the courtyard, and the two females would bow and follow behind him. The clock was ticking, so talking all night would cause nothing but disaster. Natashi wasn't entirely sure what Yachiru planned on doing at the top of the tower, but anything in that man's hands was not good for everyone else.

Long Time no See (Chapter 2) - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Long Time no See (Chapter 2)   Long Time no See (Chapter 2) - Page 2 EmptyFri Oct 03, 2014 10:35 pm

For the most part, she understood everyone’s trepidation with working together, including the one girl who at least accepted that they existed and could perhaps join together in the future. She could do no more in convincing her, and would simply let her go do her thing while she took a small team up to the next floor. She was ready to accept Natashi’s proposal of at least working together, that is until Kogami decided to take a low blow towards on account of someone she had heard of on the news. Lorielle Rutherford’s body was still not found. So, Kahn and him had something to do with it? Nonetheless, insulting Kahn the way he did was the worst way he could’ve tried to talk to him and try to make an alliance. Tomoe even shot Kogami an angry glare, seeing right through his obvious attempt to boast and chastise as though he knew exactly what he was doing and what he could do. From the little she know Kahn, she could already tell he would not take that the way he suddenly jumped to Fake Aburai ready for a fight. If Kahn even made a single attempt to walk towards Kogami, Tomoe would step in front of him and moving close, their chests practically up against each other, since grabbing him would not work as she was not the strongest of people. She would jump to any side if he tried to pass her, keeping her reflexes in tip top shape by reacting in time with Kahn’s almost perfectly, holding her soulbound weapon to the side, not intending to strike, but letting Kahn know she was not interested in hearing or seeing an altercation.

Long Time no See (Chapter 2) - Page 2 56-04210

“Don’t do it. Both of you need to not antagonize each other. You, Kogami Shibuya, stop acting like you have the moral high ground when all of our lives are at stake and you know about just as much of the situation as we do. And you,” she would say harshly, turning her head from Kogami to Kahn. “Don’t act irrational and immediately jump to the fight. Especially if the one we saw would’ve crushed us as Natashi said. We can’t just jump into a fight every time someone gets angry or we are going to die, cause who the hell knows what we will face up there?” she said just as harshly if he tried to confront the Dead Criminal Walking. “We can’t pull sly remarks like this when knowing it’ll anger others. That is just gonna get us upset with each other, which is exactly what our enemy wants, and what I imagine whoever gave you your powers does NOT want. So please? Can we not fight? Let’s fight after the world is not at risk of being destroyed or changed or whatever is going on.” Tomoe’s words sounded reasonable and calm enough, but her tone was clearly harsh and sharp, as though she had had it up to here with the bickering and would like nothing more to continue on as a sort of team, if nothing else. Why couldn’t people just stop arguing and try to work together? Everyone complains about incompatibility and moans and demeans, but it means nothing when they both have the same goal and for the most part same ways of going about it. There is no reason to not join up. None. At least, that’s what the biased thoughts of Tomoe were screaming to her after flashing to her parents that faithful night in her head for a brief moment.

Long Time no See (Chapter 2) - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Long Time no See (Chapter 2)   Long Time no See (Chapter 2) - Page 2 EmptySun Oct 05, 2014 2:47 am

Kahn looked toward the nickname Wendy-kun, ah yes...that name was back. He looked at Scarlet and waved back at her. Though she asked where Hibiki was, the red head frowned a bit, "He....he's not around anymore." That was really all he could say about it, Hibiki ....heck he didn't even know if his friend was even alive. How could he know, there was no way he could really know. Then his head turned to Natashi who said that moving on was the adult thing to do, of course he would say that. The man who wore the mask that took away yet another one of his friends, right...it wasn't like they could kiss and make up. Though he was sure a certain ninja would more than enjoy that scene. "Right....it'll just take some getting used to, I'm willing to set aside any differences we had for now." The young man said nodding toward his old adversary.

Of course the moment he said that, he heard the voice that belonged to the dead criminal, Kogami. The voice that was patronizing him about Lorielle's death and his defeat at the hands of Aburai. Lorielle said that she trusted this man, but in the end he didn't even try to save her. Now that same man was belittling him and her demise. And Kahn had just given his word that he would tolerate this, no doubt this asshole was taking advantage of it. No, he'd break his word just once to make a demonstration. Just once! His hands curled into fists, and his green eyes glared at the dead criminal, and began to approach with an angry aura, however Tomoe began to scold Kogami, before turning on him.

What she said rang true, they would need all the help they could get if Natashi was right about that boy. The anger slowly left him, and he looked at Kogami before looking at the others. Natashi called the meeting over, and left the courtyard for the most part. The red haired young man noted who all was still with him, except the other young lady who was now writing in her journal. A more cautious player, who may have been recording what she had learned. His gaze looked back toward the group, "Alright everyone take a few to rest, and then we're heading back in. When you are all ready meet me by the door, and I'll get us through this." The young man said as he approached the door, and would wait for all the others to approach. Best to keep pressing against the tower, and keeping their enemy on their toes.

Long Time no See (Chapter 2) - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Long Time no See (Chapter 2)   Long Time no See (Chapter 2) - Page 2 EmptySun Oct 05, 2014 11:27 pm

He would give Natashi the same confused look he has probably been wearing this entire time, “Do I want to know why your friend is in a big evil tower or am I better off staying in the dark?” Personally, he didn’t think he would ever understand just what was going on. This entire thing made his head hurt. It also seemed like everyone here besides he and Tomoe had some sort of past history. Daiki would actually have to applaud Tomoe. She had a way with words that he respected. He was just glad to see he wasn’t the only one that found all the bitterness off-putting. He didn’t know exactly know what the history between Kogami and Kahn was, but he was not going to tolerate it. They were here to fix everything, not destroy themselves by fighting. Personally, he didn’t really care about it. Maybe it was just him, but he thought saving the frozen world was more important than having their little feud. Then again, it sounded like it was a very touchy subject between the two.

A smirk would cross his face when Kahn took Tomoe’s words to heart. That lady really was something. He would have tipped his hat to Kahn when he mentioned that he was ready to move on and head back into the tower, but Daiki didn’t wear a hat, “Yes. Let us hurry through this place so that we may return to a world that isn’t trapped in time and space.” Or in normal human speak: Let’s get going. He would look at the people gathered here and look them all over, “So, who is going up with us. We don’t want to crowd up the hallway, so maybe only some of us should go.” For once, he was using his head. He would actually prefer that the ladies all stay behind, but he would never say that out loud. That was a sure way to never get them to talk to him ever again.

PostSubject: Re: Long Time no See (Chapter 2)   Long Time no See (Chapter 2) - Page 2 EmptyMon Oct 06, 2014 5:28 pm

If Natashi knew who that young man in the tower was, he wasn't saying so. Destiny didn't put it past him to keep information to himself; rather, she expected him to leave the group in the dark as much as he could afford to. He'd done the same thing when he'd been questioned by Kahn at the shrine, giving only the barest of facts and skirting around the issue. Apparently, if it benefited him, then he'd talk. The blonde didn't like going in without having all of the facts, but she supposed it would be alright if she and the others could just avoid that green-haired man for the time being.

The other boy in the group startled her when he suddenly began speaking with Kahn. She'd been so wrapped up in her thoughts and the conversation that she'd nearly forgotten he was even there. Now, however, he certainly had her attention. She listened for all of a few seconds before turning back to the redhead and watching him carefully, worrying her bottom lip with her teeth. The last time he'd been egged on, Kahn had been...well, rather violent. The last thing they needed to send this already shaky alliance crashing to the ground was a fight, not to mention they should save their energy for taking on this tower. The blonde's features noticeably relaxed as Tomoe stepped in, successfully quelling the tension and bringing things somewhat back to normal. She was glad the other woman was here; she had the courage and common sense to step in and stop things before they got too out of hand.

With that crisis averted, it seemed it was about time to head back into the tower. Glancing at Daiki as he spoke, she weighed the options set out before her. Go with them or stay here...? Well, the tower was a rather dangerous place. She wasn't quite sure how well her nerves could handle being shoved back in there so soon. ...But then again...she really couldn't stand the thought of being left outside with that man and unfamiliar faces. It would be like that time with Naito where she was left alone, wondering what in the world was going on, if he and everyone else was alright. Raising a hand so her fingers could skim over her collarbone, she bowed her head and glanced up at Daiki and Tomoe through her bangs, asking softly, "Would you mind if I went?"

Kogami was rather annoyed at the face of the new woman. He didn’t know who she was, and he didn’t seem to care for the moment. He just wanted to go out of his way to piss of Kahn, that was all. Now that he succeeded in doing so, he was bored of the whole lot. “ ….” Kogami simply put his hat down so you couldn’t see his eyes as he was pulled away from a brief moment by Vera, who informed him of Yata’s “Late Registration to the freak show.” “Ahh, I guess I’ll ask him when he shows up again. Anyway, I’ll try to give you some info if I run into any. “ Kogami would reply to her in a low voice as he heard Kahn’s final announcement of getting a little bit of rest before getting a move on. Kogami also thought of what Natashi said, letting go of the past was the adult thing to do? “…..” Would a shadow exist if it was easy for the original kogami to let go at the end of his life? How embarrassing it was, those last moments of his life. Anyway, Kogami crouched down and started to spin his that on his finger, patiently waiting for the next  tower run.

PostSubject: Re: Long Time no See (Chapter 2)   Long Time no See (Chapter 2) - Page 2 EmptyTue Oct 07, 2014 12:02 pm

Vera watched the scene from behind the pages of her journal. She continued to jot down notes on all she heard, but she figured there would be chaos the moment Shibuya egged on this boy named Kahn. It was typical that two males would be the ones to start this drama and get ready to fight even when the world was coming to an end. The violet haired female decided she'd let them duke it out. It had nothing to do with her. However, one of the females amongst the group stepped forward and blocked them off from their inevitable brawl here in the courtyard. Not only this, but Natashi and crew seemed to leave aswell, as if they didn't really care to watch two children brawling with each other. Once this small altercation ended, she closed her journal and placed it back within her vest. Her round eyes looked at the group, and for once she decided to speak when they were moving to gather at the tower.

Long Time no See (Chapter 2) - Page 2 5(99)

"You will get us through this? Just a few seconds ago you were ready to take Shibuya's head off for one snide comment."

The girl moved her finger across the dirt and her eyes scanned over to look at this girl Tomoe. "If it's possible, how about you lead the next operation into that tower? I honestly do not care if you all end up at the bottom of a ditch, but my future is riding on this too. Atleast you have some self control." The teen used her right hand to move a strand of hair behind her ear. Her eyes wandered away from the group and she didn't look back. She wouldn't let any of them breach her wall. They would never be friends. After all, she was a murderer. There was no coming back from that fact. So instead of trying to be a part of their world, she shrunk back down on the side of the tree in a kneeling position and gave a slight sigh. When this was over, she only hoped her life returned to normal. Well, as close to normal as it'd ever get, really.

Tomoe was glad there was no fight at least. Kahn seemed to act as though he was still trying to take control even after he just lost control himself, to which Tomoe would sigh lightly. Kogami seemed tame enough the way he began to take it easy, almost too easy as a matter of fact. She did take notice of Daiki and Destiny. She actually planned on taking only a few to the next floor or at least recommending. Destiny also came to them asking if she could join. Originally she was going to recommend someone from the other group join them so they could at least try to work together. Though the violet girl Vera seemed to recommend she lead the team herself, which puzzled her. Granted she did agree with the violet girl that Kahn got angry way too easily to be able to lead a team properly, she was not exactly a leader, but then again she would not call herself a follower either. She nodded to Vera. “Fair enough. Tomoe is my name. I feel like it’s fair you know if we are going to be forced to work together,” she said to Vera and Kogami. Calling out the would-be leader was certainly not abnormal of her given her opinionated nature, even if he knew more about the situation than she did, he doesn’t have to be leader to inform the ones that don’t know.

“Nonetheless, Kahn, she is not wrong. I too think you get angry too easily to lead a team. The way you began to run towards the fake Aburai was not at all something you should have done. I want everyone to live through this, and not die via one man’s mistake. To that end, I am suggesting you hang back for now. It doesn’t look like Daiki or Destiny want to lead, and the others don’t really want to or are doing whatever, so I think I need to take over for now.” She said. It would be the end of that conversation assuming Kahn had nothing to say. “Since she does not wish to go, and Destiny will go, maybe we still need time to get over working together. Everyone is moaning and groaning over forming an alliance, so we need some time apart and maybe get used to it. The least we can do is try to go up the tower and when we come down next, we can try to form a team between the two groups. For now, myself, you, Daiki and Desiny will go. Sound fair?” she said to her team, and Kogami and Vera if she intended to respond, though she seemed to resign herself from the conversation, which was fine. But assuming anyone had no objections, she would let the people she more or less assigned to join her as she began to approach the tower for the next floor, ready to walk inside when the others were ready.

Long Time no See (Chapter 2) - Page 2 Empty

"'Together' seems to be your favorite word. Are you all so weak you can't do it alone?" Black flames would emerge from the ground beneath them, and a red dome would enclose Tomoe, Destiny, Daiki, and Kahn. It acted as a sort of barrier to keep the rest of their company from interfering with what was about to happen. Coming forth from these black flames would be what appeared to be a Shadow? Well, anyone would believe it were a Shadow from mere appearance. The black flames that resided as its body, and then the strange red hues that stretched across its makeshift body. The black flames began to settle and form what appeared to be a large cage around them. Leaves from the nearby trees would be blown into the said cage, and the moment they touched the black bars that made this holding cell, they leaves would literally vanish in a spark.

"So you're the ones she has to defeat to claim her freedom? Then it's safe to say I can murder you all here and now."

The strange Shadow like creature seemed to be talking, but in a sudden flash, the black flames left its body. Standing in its place was a red haired young man with a white suit, red goggles, and an indifferent face. He seemed to be sizing up the group infront of him before looking outside the cage at the others who were invited to this sudden party.

"How unfortunate. You should be enjoying your last hour of peace before your world is destroyed. But here you are pretending to be a rescue party when you can't even overcome your own differences." The strange red headed young man would reach to his side and remove what appeared to be a gun from his red holster. In his other hand, he dropped the pack he had over his shoulder and removed what appeared to be a long needle from its contents. In reality, this needle was a type of sword that went along side the famous estoc used by the french in times of war.

"My name is Mikoto, and I've slept years all until this moment. No more introductions are necessary. Let's begin." The red head took an odd stance, staggering his feet and pointing the barrel of the handgun downward while the sword pointed forward towards the group. It was an odd stance, but it had purpose. Almost as if this young man had been killing his entire life, all leading up to this moment.

Well, at least this meeting wasn’t going as badly as it could have. He was thankful for that. He was not thankful for the fact that both of the girls wanted to trek back into the tower, however. What would he do if they managed to get themselves injured? That thought would be cut short, however, as an uninvited guest showed up. Daiki was starting to feel as if he was never going to have a normal day in his life again, especially considering that the guest was a black human blob with red features. He would look at Kahn and Destiny with a puzzled face, “Is this normal for you guys?” He had seen Shadows before, but this was slightly different.

He would only relax when the shape turned more human than it had been before. At least this was something he could deal with. But they guy really did have bright red hair. He would look at Kahn’s hair with a suspicious look, “Are you two related by chance?” He was partially joking, but he was honestly curious. It wasn’t a normal trait for people to have. After Mikoto introduced himself, Daiki would raise his hand as though he were waiting for permission to ask a question, “Two things. One, I believe it is common courtesy to give one’s full name when you first meet. Two, who is she and why do you need to defeat us in order to free her?” In was strange for Daiki to pick up on those kinds of things, but they were so strange that he had no choice but to notice them. Mostly, he was confused by what had just happened. He was still getting used to the supernatural stuff happening around him, and the black cage wasn’t helping. He felt more like a fish out of water than anything else.

It looked like this was going to end up in a fight though. He would have preferred to not have to fight anytime soon, but that was obviously not going to be an option. With a heavy sigh, he called Tezcatlipoca to his side. The humanoid jaguar would stand next to him with its arms crossed looking down at him with slight suspicion, “Long time, no see, Tez-chan. Sorry I have to cut the formalities short, but Kaede isn’t here to play and we need you at the moment.” The Persona would look at him with what appeared to be a slight glare before doing what it was told. As soon as Daiki saw exactly what they were up against, he would relay the information to his team.

Long Time no See (Chapter 2) - Page 2 Empty

Kahn was waiting and listening to the other's discussion, it was a debate of who should go? Well from the looks of it, the ones interested in going were him, Tomoe, Destiny, and Daiki. The girl with the notebook was not interested, and Kogami was sitting around. He was going to answer, till the girl who held the notebook pointed out a very valid fact. He was too easily swayed by emotion, and he was about to rebuke the girl for not even trying to work with them, but two separate thoughts struck him. His group did not change reality, and seeing how Natashi and the others had just arrived...means that the girl with the notebook and Kogami had succeed. They were working toward a goal, and at least helping. So he couldn't exactly, say that, and by rebuking her for her true comment he'd just be proving her point and making the situation worse. Thus, he simply nodded and held his tongue. It was better that a source of the problem shut up now, rather than continue to be a problem.

As Tomoe began to address him, and adding on to Vera's point, he nodded "You both raise a good point. I'll hang back for now." The red-haired young man said. Sure he could argue that they both didn't understand his reasoning, but once again...he was trying to avoid being part of the problem.

Speaking of problem, another one just showed up. A creature of some sort appeared before the persona-users and trapped them in a dome. \When Daiki asked if this was a normal thing, the red haired young man nodded his head a bit, "Not quite like this, it looks like a Shadow, but I doubt it is that simple." The young man said keeping his eyes on the newcomer, which then transformed into a human. Prompting yet another question from Daiki, "Not as far as I'm aware of." The weight lifter replied. However, Daiki's next question struck a point of curiosity, though he doubted that these types of people were going to tell them anything. However, as he saw the man arm himself, Kahn positioned himself toward the front of the group.

The familiar weight of his zwiehander was a welcome thing to have in hand as he readied himself for another fight. Noting that they were taking steps to ready themselves for battle he did the same. The tarot card of justice appeared before him, and he crushed it in hand. A full armored knight stood behind him, and pointed it's mace at Mikoto. A gesture that meant, "submit because you cannot win." It would lower the man's strength and power. He then lifted his zwiehander and laid it gently upon his shoulder while his feet shifted into a balanced stance.
