A necessary reunion [Nea]

''Yeah, okay.'' Nea busied himself fumbling around for something to write on, as well as to write with, as he listened to Shun's next words. He didn't really see much in it, but he listened anyway. Did it matter if the guy knew he was being watched or not? That knowledge most likely wasn't going to help them any...or at least he wasn't drawing any connection there yet. Nor from the actual words the guy had been muttering. They didn't know who it really was that the criminal was looking for either. Which meant they knew....practically nothing, aside from some sauce around it? ''I'd say it would be better if we knew why...That might be a little useful...But, don't ask me, I have no idea...'', he would throw at Shun absentmindedly, finally having located the supplies he needed.

He would raise his head up to blink at the younger student when he was done writing, which was just about at the time Shun finished his second thought line. More people? Hey, that was rather cool. It should be easier with a bigger amount of heads. Nea didn't count himself as much of a thinker, so he liked the idea of useful company. He would tilt his head a little, at Shun's assumption that he and the other two were going to go look at the Caverns with him again. Why did it sound like he had no choice in the matter...? Naah, probably just his imagination. He wouldn't have refused anyway. He had wanted to look around himself, if nothing else, so he was cool with this. ''So things are being taken care of already? I guess that's good...it should be. But, sure I can go with you to look, I wanted to anyway. Dunno about the other two though. You might have to chase after them first...I'm sure ya can do it if you really want them around, I suppose.'', he would respond, giving a cool grin. Nea didn't know what would they be searching for there, but he was always up for stuff like this. ''Oh, and here ya go.'', he would add after a moment, offering the number written down on a piece of paper to the younger. Shun was an interesting guy, and he didn't mind having a friend like that...so far.

— Yes, I'm aware of that. It's just...that guy wouldn't say something about what he's been planning if he knew there was an audience. I don't think that apparition was intentional to lure anyone to go after him. That being said, there's a high chance it was something the criminal couldn't predict, and if so, what could have caused that phenomenon...? — He'd say, still rubbing the left side of his temples, going into a moment of quietness while trying to come up with a rational explanation. He soon gave up, however; they didn't have much to work with, it's only natural for them to not be able to decipher everything at one go. That makes Nea pretty much right about it, the best thing is to focus on the criminal's reason, although Shunnosuke was more interested in the supernatural mechanisms instead. Time stop, monsters coming out of tar dripping from a cave wall...it's too much to not be considered, after all.

After his senpai gave him the number he longed for, Shun grabbed it from Nea's hand, unfolding the little piece of paper for a moment and glancing at the number written. Very well.

— I appreciate it. — The younger boy smiled with visible satisfaction, putting the note inside one of his blazer pockets. — I guess we're done for now. Keep a look at the news and at your cellphone, I might give you a call anytime.

Nea would shrug a little. While he was ethusiastic about this sort of stuff, his deduction skills were usually not too useful at times. Thinking hard was never really something he did. So, maybe it wasn't intentional on the criminal's part, but that knowledge made him none the wiser. Would that mean anything? ''Probably the same thing that caused the whole 'Shadows' appearing incident...That would make some sense, I think...'', he would say, in regards to Shun's questioning over the phenomenon. Didn't it? It seemed that it could. But, it wasn't like he really knew better.

''You're welcome.'', he would say cheerfully. It wasn't like it bothered him any. He did somewhat like to poke his nose into stuff, and helping out friends was also rather high on his list. Yeah, well, he didn't know Shun enough to say they were actually friends yet, but that wasn't the point right now. ''Yeah, sure. I'll try my best.'' It shouldn't be too hard. Keeping a check on his phone was easy enough of a task, and news were usually broadcasted and hard to miss. Should be a piece of cake. ''So, I guess I'll see ya later then. Good luck finding the other two...'', he would give Shun his regards, along with a friendly wave goodbye, as he took off. Spending a lot of time cooped up in a classroom after school has already ended was not really for him. Some fresh air sounded good...

— Thank you. — He would reply to Nea, waving back collectedly as Nea departed. He seemed...nice. Too friendly also, pretty much like...Hyde. No, unlike Hyde. But well, he was probably a good asset to the team, the type of person he could rely to if needed.
Then again, there wasn't much for them to do right now in regards to the whole supernatural stuff; on the other hand, Shun still had matters to attend to at home. Probably his mother was waiting for him to start another session of drama. Well, he should better be going and forget the eldritch subject for once...
