No Surprises (Open) (Someone please join this because nobody's joined my other threads ;-;)

Kenta sat on the bench, looking up at the cloudy winter sky as he ate alone. Everyone around was talking to somebody, but nobody was talking to him. Kenta sighed, feeling incredibly alone.

Why am I always alone? thought Kenta, biting into his sandwich. I guess I just can't make friends.

Snow began to fall from the sky. Kenta sighed again as he pulled his music player out of his pocket, finding a melancholy song to fit his melancholy mood:
A heart that's full up like a landfill
A job that slowly kills you
Bruises that won't heal

You look so tired unhappy
Bring down the government
They don't, they don't speak for us

Walking through the snow Brian sneezed. He couldn't help but hate the cold weather, where he was from the weather was usually warm year round so Brian was not use to the cold. In one hand Brian held a kendo sword and was currently using it as a walking stick as he continued to walk he noticed a boy writing in his book, he looked abit lonely...

Even though Brian really wanted to go and find a warm place to chill out... wrong choice of words. He moved up to the boy and as he was exhaling on his hands to keep warm he asked,

"Is it alright if I sit here?"

As he said that Brian pointed toward the side of the bench that wasn't being occupied by the kid. After taking a moment to look atound and see what was going on around him, which was nothing but other people holding their own conversations he looked back at the boy and awaited his reaction.

(OOC: Kenta isn't holding a book -_-;

Kenta hit pause on his music player, looking up at Brian. "Hm? Oh, sure, sure." He looked away from the other student, feeling awkward. He didn't know what to do. Should he talk to him? Should he introduce himself? Kenta fidgeted in his seat as he tried to come up with an answer.

(OOC: My bad I was in a hurry at the time; )

Seeing the kid fidget in his chair Brian decided to start the conversation.

"Man, Calm down. Why are you fidgetting?" It was a crude way to start a conversation but unfortunately that was how he learned to start talking to shy people... well men anyway.Rocking back and forth with annoyance Brian began to wonder how he was going to continue the conversation. Sighing with anticipation, Brian looked toward the boy awaiting for his answer.

"I-I'm just really nervous talking to people..." mumbled Kenta, not looking at Brian.

"calm down then!" Brian said. laughing and lightly tapping the boy's back. Brian was use to the usual quiet types after abit of talking they usually never shut up. "so what is your name? Oh wait japanese custom dictate I introduce myself don't they... well my name is Brian King, what is yours?" Brian asked half expecting for the kid to run away in terror.

Kenta looked down at his feet, feeling uncomfortable about making direct eye contact. "M-my name is Kenta H-Hanabusa..."

He gulped nervously, fidgeting. He fidgeted enough to drop his music player on the ground, which got kicked by the foot of someone walking by, unaware of what happened. "My music player!" shouted Kenta, looking very upset.
