| Ami Kujo Eviscerators spinning up..!
The Biography
|
Birth Name: AM-9 (shorthand for 'Artillery Machina Nonary') Aliases: Ami Kujo. Gender: Female-model. Age: Ami was not 'born' on any specific date. The original unit was an experimental weapon during WWII, mindless and non-functionary. Her consciousness began to dawn much later, after her 'father' bought her from the Japanese military and started to experiment with the strange artifacts known as Plumes of Dusk. Her body parts were replaced until she was no longer a bulky robot, but a human-like android with realistic flesh and blood. 'Birth' is an insufficient word in relation to Ami, but her consciousness - her heart - has existed for around 50 years, give or take. Her apparent age is around fourteen, though she could be seen as younger or older. Most people just accept that she is probably old enough to attend the Academy, though many comment on how young she looks. Birth Day: N/A. Her 'birth' spanned a number of months. Arcana: The Chariot. Place of Residence: Currently searching for a home. Lives in and around Hayabusa. Attends Kizuna Academy. School Year: First Year. Class: (We'll fill this in once you're approved. This will be your class in school)
After School Club: N/A.
Part Time Job: AM is great at menial tasks, and finds her current position of shrine cleaner a good way to find temporary peace in the hustle of life.
Appearance: Ami is a slight, skinny girl with pale-ish flesh and light yellow hair set in long twin ponytails. She is prone to sweating when her internal processors become overheated, and even fainting if she isn't careful; giving her a constant redness around the corners of her interchangeably blue and orange eyes, which makes most people think she is sickly and weak.
Under her clothes, Ami's limbs are all clearly detachable, each major bone distinguished by a narrow segment at the joint where they can simply be screwed off - once she releases hydraulic pressure, of course, which normally takes the form of steam through her nostrils. However, this means that Ami is highly flexible and able to squeeze through extremely tight spots, simply abandoning her limbs if necessary.
Stored within her body is her armor, which folds out of invisible slats in her skin and grants her special acrobatic abilities, such as jumping extremely high with a short burst of jet exhaust, or delivering heavy punches. This armor takes the form of slender yellow vambraces and kneeguards which reach most of the way up her thighs, as well as protection for the backs of her lower legs.
Personality: Ami is a polite, shy, and stressed out girl. One looking at her from the outside would call her strange, but of course that is completely natural with androids who have spent the majority of their life in captivity. She can be eccentric at times, often getting overexcited about talk of strategy and implementing a war-based lexis into her speech, referring to sieges and trenches and Kamikaze troopers almost casually.
Since technology makes her sick, she is a strict luddite, paranoid about computers and cell phones, though she realizes it is often necessary to use them. The only thing that can null her sickness is the presence of other Plumes of Dusk - other androids. For this reason, she is quick to warm to other Anti-Shadow Suppression Weapons, and can seem incredibly clingy and loveable. In essence: her sisters are her catnip, turning her from a shy girl into a fluffy kitten that wants nothing more than to rub all over you.
She is a weapon enthusiast, and spends a lot of time at war museums. New guns are obviously of no interest to her, especially if they use electricity; at which point the conversation ends, and Ami walks away to dry-retch.

The Potential
|
Strengths:
—Strength Name: 24-hour connectivity! —Description: AM has a wide array of knowledge stored in her brain, and she can connect to computers from meters away, browsing the Internet inside her own head. This provides her with a theoretically infinite pool of knowledge! The only problem? Ami feels sick whenever she's uploading a large amount of data, and can't keep at it for long.
—Strength Name: Crouching tiger, hidden robot. —Description: The skinny android is an avid martial artist. She often practices Aikido with members of the school gymnasium, though she also knows Judo. It's just more plausible for such a small girl to practice a system designed for weaker people to use larger opponents' weight against them than it is for her to just pick up grown men and slam them into the ground.
—Strength Name: Cute. —Description: Cute! Ami inspires sympathy in others and, though she is still learning how to be sociable, people tend to be more lenient with her than they would other antisocial people. This doesn't exactly help her make Social Links, but stops her from losing them.
Weaknesses: (You must have the same amount of weaknesses as strengths. These weaknesses pertain to you and not your Persona. IE: Physically Weaker, lack of attention span, etc.)
—Weakness Name: Now where did I put that key..? —Description: As a consequence of her wireless compatibility, Ami is constantly deleting old data in favor of the new, which causes her to frequently forget people's names, what she had for breakfast, etc. People call her a ditz.
—Weakness Name: Atchoo! —Description: Ami gets sick whenever she's in the presence of large amounts of technology. TVs make her head swim, and phones give her a ringing in her ears, but there's just no way to get away from it all! It's one of the reasons she spends a lot of time in old places like bookstores and shrines.
—Weakness Name: I'm not old! —Description: Ami gets upset when others don't share her interests, reminding her of her age. She believes that she is so far behind the times that it must be impossible to make friends, so she has self-confidence issues, too.
Soul Bound Weapon:
Weapon Name: Artillery Platform. Weapon Description: See the image at the start of the page? Ami was built to handle heavy weaponry, to be a devastating murderbot in the form of a petite brat. Her bread and butter are the Eviscerators, heavy twin-linked gatling guns specially designed to mow down Shadows. Heavy treads with shock-absorbers appear around her legs in order to stop her small self from being flung backwards with the recoil. Also available are a pair of shoulder-mounted missile launchers which fire an array of flash and smoke bombs, dazzling and confusing enemies in the turbulence of blinding detonations and gagging smog.
In the event of close-quarters combat, AM can detach herself from her treads and carry one Eviscerator two-handed, spinning up the barrels until they're red-hot and dueling with the gatling gun as though it's a blade. Weapon Image: Scroll all the way up! Weapon Attack Type: Pierce! Weapon Element:

The Background
|
History: AM was built in anticipation of WWII by Japanese military research labs. She was created using segments of brain from various volunteers - all people who were dying in hospital and wanted to help with the war effort - and finished off with a Plume of Dusk. However, this artefact was initially fitted incorrectly, and Ami was mindless. Thinking that their entire project was at fault, the scientists shut down the project and put Ami in storage, until after the war, when a young man bought her on the pretense of putting her in a military museum.
He didn't, of course. Instead, he started to switch out her bulky old parts for sleek new ones, making her more and more lifelike by the day. Finally, he looked inside of her and corrected the Plume of Dusk placement, at which point her consciousness began to awaken. The process took several months, but soon she was calling the man who fixed her 'Papa' and acting like any ordinary girl. Life was good, even if she didn't understand what 'happiness' was by that point.
However, after three years, a pair of American investigators stopped by their house. They were following rumors that a Japanese weapon was being kept active even in the wake of the war, and demanded that Ami be shut down. She asked her papa what was happening, but he only shook his head. She could see the tears welling in the corners of his eyes. At that moment, she wanted to run to him and give him a hug - a compulsion she had never felt before in her life - but before she could, he told her to run. The investigators must have seen her, still with metal plating around her shoulders and a big robotic gun-hand, because they pulled out pistols and demanded to come inside. Her father begged them, and told them that all her weapons had been made harmless, and he was still in the process of removing them from her; but they wouldn't listen. They had her father arrested and took her to the Japanese government, who agreed that she needed to be contained; but, since she looked so human, it would be evil to simply destroy her like the investigators were demanding.
Ami was locked away in a dark basement for thirty-six years. Her weapons were torn out of her body, leaving her one-handed and with big chunks of her shoulders missing. She tried to shut herself down, but she just couldn't; the technologies outside were interfering with her mind, making her sicker and sicker as they became more advanced. She was vomiting on a daily basis, when she had any food in her stomach, and the stuff was rarely cleaned up. Their solution was to stop feeding her.
Another month passed. Ami dedicated that time to powering through the new techologies and searching for help with her mind. She sent a signal - a tiny little blip, nothing more than a yes in the night. Someone heard her. She was rescued by human rights activists and fixed up, but it was decided it would be in her best interests to join a school, get friends, immerse herself in society and hope that no-one who wanted to lock her away would find her.
She has yet to awaken her Persona.

| Good app, however you need to have three weaknesses to balance out your strengths. Apart from that, everything else checks out. Just add a weakness and you'll be approved for the next plot. | |

| Everything looks fine, just use those weapons sparingly. We actually have a reload limit on guns after every third post you fire them, but that's only in PvP. PvS you can go crazy.
Also I'm not sure why Grantus said approved for next plot. You can use this character for this plot if you want. Though you're coming in late, when you awaken to your Persona you can start off at a higher rank than normal. That's up to you though. | |

| I had said that because Ami and I talked beforehand and they said they wanted to wait till next plot to use this character. I was gonna make that clear once it was approved. Sorry for the confusion. | |
