Spar at the Tsurinai Estate [Users invited]

Kahn watched his half successful attack strike Hibiki in the shoulder, but it still did not deter his comrade from his attack on Ruo. Apparently he was out for blood with her or perhaps Kahn did not appear to be that much of a threat to the Prime Persona user. Well...he was just going to have to change that now wasn't he. He tried to be fair and attack both of them to keep them on their toes, but if Hibiki was going to ignore another threat....then he would have to pay for it. However, he noted that he began to glow. He felt the slight damage he took slowly fade and replaced by a soothing feeling. He glanced toward the blonde woman and saw her and her persona laughing. That must have been their work. Well having someone who could heal them was always nice, and he appreciated the gesture to heal the little amount of damage that he took.

Kahn crushed the Justice card after summoning it and Richard would appear. "It seems as though Hibiki has decided we are not worthy of his attention or believes he can ignore us. Let us change that shall we?" He would say to his Persona, the knight would nod in response, "If that is your bidding, my lord, then it will be done anon." The knight's kite shield would begin to glow as both Kahn and his Persona advanced toward the scuffle between Hibiki and Ruo. After several paces the kite shield's glow would be blinding. Richard would place the shield in front of him as though using it to parry or repel. The light from the shield erupted into several strands of light with a circular tip, almost in the shape of a bowling ball, launched outward in a wide spread. As they traveled toward Hibiki and his Persona they would tighten their spread, and attempt to slam into Hibiki and his Persona. Hoping to cause them to stumble or at least harm them. Three strands would fall from above them, two would come at Hibiki's exposed flank, while the other two went for his Persona's exposed flank. The hope was to pincer them between each other, but not every attack was perfect and there was always a way out.

After the light faded from the shield, Richard would beat the side of the shield and the flat of his blade against one another. Making a metallic clang that would echo throughout the room. Afterwards the knight would raise the shield to cover himself and the broadsword hovered above the tip of the shield. The visor of the helmet could be seen above the shield as the knight got into a battle stance ready to repel the counterattack. A stance that challenged Hibiki, and Kahn stood in a confident fighting stance beside his Persona. "Come on now Hibiki, you can't ignore any threat and focus on one. Tunnel vision has costed people their lives before! Seek to control the situation!" He would advise, as it stood Kahn had more control than the two locked in combat. Their choice not to pay attention to him granted him the luxury of attacking anyone, at anytime, and in anyway. He could alter the battlefield or change the results of their little duel as he saw fit. Now what would Ruo and Hibiki do in response to that information?

    Well, it seemed like the last thing Destiny had done helped somewhat. Still, the fight continued on, with the dark-haired and Ruo facing off against one another while the redhead approached them, advising both not to focus on one target when he was still a viable threat to both. It made sense, she thought; if the redhead hadn’t said anything, he could’ve come up behind either of them and gotten in a free hit. But this wasn’t about winning or losing; this was a practice fight, wasn’t it? It was nice to see them offering advice to one another and helping each other improve.

    Looking at her persona, Destiny coughed lightly, drawing its gaze. “Can you do that again?” The persona tilted its head and blinked at its owner. After a moment, it looked up at the ceiling and puffed out its cheeks, almost as if considering the request. Finally it grinned and laughed, nodding enthusiastically before it blew another kiss, this one with both hands, towards the group. Like before, they all glowed briefly, and he blue-skinned figure bounced on the balls of its feet as if pleased with itself, before looking over at Destiny. “Thank you.” The blonde girl smiled. As if in reply, the persona grinned. Well, working with this otherworldly being might not be so hard after all.

Well, it was true that Byakko was quite big, so Ruo could see well enough to run away before he could get a hit in, and leaving him with a wind current to deal with. Getting out of the way quick enough would have been a hassle, however, he didn't really have to do that. Ruo did move out of the way of his last attack, and he was going to move away as well, but would take a step back to where he was before, as that would result in him getting hit by his own previous attack. And since she dumped her windball pretty close, the resulting lightning pulse would squish the wind before it could do any real damage. Ruo ran away far enough, so she didn't have to worry about herself.

Hibiki would turn around when he saw a rush of light from the corner of his eyes, to come face to face with Kahn's Persona sending out an array of light from several directions at once. That was troublesome. Well, Kahn was indeed lucky to have the time to move around and attack while he and Ruo were busy. He'd have to deal with that. Too bad. That light was going to hurt, but he would allow that, as it was true that he did turn his back towards the other teen. His habit of not wanting to dodge an attack sort of kicked in too. Byakko, however would have none of that, as it coated itself in a thin electric barrier, making the light strands sizzle out on contact, before sending the lightning out in a decent number of strands that would go in a widespread both left and right, before going forward and attempting to slam into Kahn from one side, and his Persona from the other, as the two stood next to each other. Meanwhile, Hibiki being himself, would take the blast head on, taking a few steps back as the dazzling light struck him. ''I suppose you're right. I won't deny that. However, it is not easy to focus on two at once either, when they're far from each other.'', he'd shrug at Kahn's little advice corner after recovering from the painful blast, and quickly stride over to Byakko, as putting a distance between them wasn't proving well so far. Destiny had taken to healing them once again, which was turning out to be pretty useful. Kahn's light attacks hurt pretty bad after all.

Watching Hibiki avoid her attack and Kahn get an advantage over him, it was then Hibiki would focus his force towards him. Ruo was plenty of distance away and did not really have much chance to be hit by either of them. Once more, it would be Kahn who has to deal with that attack, who really did not have much going for him as far as defense goes. Then again, it was just a charge so perhaps he could think of something. Meanwhile, Hibiki would be making a moderately fast pace towards his Persona readying himself for battle. Perhaps instead of focusing on one opponent, she should try and get some advantage in the matter. Keeping her significant distance from them, Maya would appear in front of Ruo and conjure up a large beachball like ball of green wind and hurl it with one hand lazily towards the ground near the two. They could avoid the ball itself surely, but the shockwave from the wind that would burst from the ball once it exploded when hitting the ground would spread towards them and their Personas reaching ankle high at best, but moving at a quick speed. Destiny, being closer to them, would feel a shake to her legs, but nothing that would damage her. Ruo would keep cover behind her Persona as Maya would fan her face lightly with one hand and sitting sideways near the ground, as if feeling the burn from the battle, yet keeping her face on the other two users, waiting to see their next actions.

Kahn watched his light spell fizzle on Hibiki's persona, but he hit Hibiki at least. That was good, granted he was about to reap what he had sowed by informing his partners about their situation. Hibiki turned and unleashed a very similar attack to the one the red haired avenger used on him moments ago. That was....unfortunate to say the very least as he had no way to stop that attack and it would be incredibly difficult to avoid. Not to mention Ruo would add her own attack...some kind of green beachball....odd, but okay. Seeing the attack coming from the sides, the only ways out were forward and backwards. Fortunately, his persona received his orders, and shoved Kahn forward using its shield.

However, Richard was not so lucky as the knight was struck by the lighting bolt, causing Kahn to flinch. His Persona would fade would hold an open hand out toward Kahn and the red head's blade became wreathed in flame. The Persona would then fade after granting Kahn the power to counter attack. The red haired young man would swing his blade in Hibiki's direction, granted he was out of range. However, he was out of range with his blade, yet the flame jumped from the blade and formed a sharp flaming arc that was flying toward Safi. While it was not as fast as his lighting, it was moving at a decent pace.

    Oh dear. It seemed the redhead’s advice was being turned against him. The dark-haired boy was aiming directly for the other one now. Unnerved by the tremor that ran under her, Destiny clutched the nearby doorframe, refusing to let go until the other girl’s attack was finished. Once the shaking stopped, she tentatively straightened, staying close to the door so she’d have something solid to hold onto should Ruo do that again.

    Really, it was hard to tell if someone had been hit or not. The attacks everyone had been throwing at one another were so grandiose that it distracted Destiny from observing everything clearly. Of course, she could always get a bit closer, she supposed. The thought made her shudder. Goodness, what was she thinking? Going out there now would be something akin to suicide. She didn’t know how much damage the others could do, but she was relatively certain she’d pass out or be sent to the hospital after taking a hit, perhaps two if she was really lucky. No, best not to risk it. Besides, it wasn’t as if she was a fighter by any means. The background suited her just fine.

    A quiet chuckle shifted Destiny’s persona away from her thoughts. Glancing to the side, she found her persona tilting its head at her, raising an eyebrow in question as it held one hand out. It must’ve seen the confusion on its owner’s face, since the blue-skinned woman motioned with her head towards the three teens sparring before turning back to her. …Was it wondering if it was to do the same thing it had done earlier? The thing that made them...glow? Hmm…it couldn’t hurt. As if listening to her thoughts, the woman grinned broadly and snapped her fingers, clapping excitedly as the others lit up once more with that ethereal glow. The blonde shook her head lightly at its antics before she focused back on the match, watching the others carefully. Ruo wasn’t aiming for her earlier, but she’d still felt the attack somewhat; Destiny had to be ready, then, to duck or dodge or do something in case one of them missed or misaimed.

As Hibiki made his way over to Byakko, he could vaguely catch Ruo making a ball out of her wind, similar to what she had tried on him before. Kahn barreled forward out of his attack, letting his Persona take the hit instead, and powering up his weapon afterwards. The way he was turned, he couldn't particularly see what Ruo would do with her ball, but he guessed that she was going to throw it in their direction. Which meant that he would have to deal with both Ruo's wind, and Kahn's fiery attack, however he was going to execute it.

The spar had been going on for a while, and Hibiki didn't really feel like running around much anymore, so he just stayed close to Byakko, letting the tiger do its thing. The Persona would growl, its fur bristling, as it sent threads of electricity along the ground in a circle around itself and Hibiki. The threads would travel a bit, before shooting upwards and creating a sort of circular barrier around the two. Kahn had swiped his sword, sending out a flaming arch, however, if it'd reach close, it would fizzle upon the created barrier, as well as Ruo's wind if it were to come close. He himself was not really going to attack this time around, unless one of the two would think running into his electrical barrier was a splendid idea. This was actually a good time to catch a breath, as he would be safe until they broke through it in any way. Though, he was aware that some attacks could probably pass through, so he would remain standing on guard, waiting for the two to do their thing, before deciding the next course of his own actions.

Again it seemed that they did not choose to target Ruo in the battle. They both seemed to want to take on either of them. Perhaps soon in a few moments someone would call for a break, but for now, Ruo should take her moment to get the both of them while she still had time. Though she would close the distance a bit leaving her around thirteen meters from the group as Kahn swung his sword and let off an arc of flame at Hibiki, Ruo herself would call forth Maya, as the flame remained in her eyes, her Persona was still around as Maya simply gave a sigh and appeared next to her. Taking her two arms in front of her, both her and Ruo would hold them to Hibiki and send two physical projectiles that looked akin to thick needles the size of Ruo’s arm for both projectiles and fired towards him. She noticed in the battle that hers and Kahn’s physical moves did not seem to tamper with the attacks based on the elements. So If Hibiki avoided the flame, the projectiles would simply go through any magic he countered with and hit him unless he physically avoided it. Maya would remain at her right, between her and Kahn as she took watch. The fight seemed to be winding down slightly. Maybe soon there would be a bit of a rest for all of them. She also noticed that Destiny once again healed her.

Kahn watched as his attack fizzle into nothingness, and a magical glow restored what little damage the beachball of wind did. Seeing Ruo unleash one last attack, he decided that they had done enough for now. The newbies had gotten a bit more practice, and understood their power and how it worked. Not to mention it gave Kahn a chance to know their strengths and skills. He learned that Ruo seemed capable to adapting to various situations very quickly, Hibiki seemed to have the power that the team would need. However, his lack of strategy was apparent. Given time he would adapt, and he could adapt well. It just took some time, which makes sense. After all who can be trained for supernatural battles. The one known as Destiny however seemed to be more timid, she did not enjoy fighting. However, helping or aiding others was something that she could do.

"That's Enough!" The red haired young man would shout loud enough for all to hear. Once the commotion from the fight settled, he would speak out once more, "I believe that was adequate practice for all of us. I believe that we should stop damaging the basement, and see if Scarlet has woken up upstairs. Does everyone agree?" He would ask looking at his sparring partner. Waiting for them to either agree or disagree and continue fighting. Possibly punishing him for his stupidity.

    The fight went on for another few minutes and, luckily, it seemed that no one was hurt in the process. Finally the redhead called for an end to their spar, and Destiny couldn’t help but let out a small, relieved sigh. Good, no more attacking. That meant there was less chance of someone getting maimed or hit or injured or killed or…well, she didn’t know what else. A short time ago, she would have drawn the line at death, but there were so many other possibilities when these supernatural abilities were factored into the equation. Really, she didn’t want to find out about what awful things could happen if they weren’t careful; the thought made her feel squeamish and somewhat nauseous. The blonde nodded at the boy’s suggestion, offering a small, appreciate smile in his direction.

    Should everyone agree to the other teen’s idea of stopping the match, the persona next to Destiny would titter quietly, drawing its owner’s attention. This woman had been rather helpful, and actually…pleasant. Not scary or intimidating like Ruo or the boys’ personas at all. It was a good thing, Destiny supposed; as far as she knew, she’d be keeping this persona for a long time. Her whole life, perhaps? Or was it just until this crisis in Ueitawa was over? Nevertheless, it was a good thing they could work well together. A gentle smile quirked the blue-skinned entity’s lips upwards, and she offered a small nod, as if agreeing with the girl. In the next moment, the persona bounced lightly on its toes before springing upwards and disappearing in a shattering of pearls. But she wasn’t really gone; Destiny could feel something almost...nestling in her head, almost the persona was making itself comfortable and awaiting the next time it was needed.

    A sudden wave of dizziness passed over the girl, and she leaned against the wall, passing a hand over her forehead briefly. Was it going to be like this every time she summoned her persona? She hoped not. Perhaps this was just a side-effect of first gaining this “potential”; combine that with the experience she’d gone through a few hours before, and the dizziness made sense. She’d have to go home and sleep for a good, long while to get rid of the weariness slowly but steadily overcoming her. But she hoped to stay for just a bit longer; if “Scarlet” had anything to do with the investigation she’d promised to help with, it would be best to tag along and see exactly what role they played in all of this.

At first, Hibiki was a bit preoccupied with watching Kahn's flame fizzle against his barrier, therefore he only noticed Ruo firing at him from her position at the last moment. Thankfully, he wasn't the type to curse at his own lack of attention, as he probably would have otherwise, considering that this attack did not leave him with much choice. He was pretty sure that his barrier wouldn't keep those projectiles away, which meant he'd have to get away, and he couldn't do that quickly enough. 'Well, here goes nothing...', he sighed mentally, ducking down onto the ground, ending up almost flat on his face. 'Ow, the ground sure is friendly...', he thought a bit amused. Maybe he was already losing it after jumping around for so long. Or it could just be the side effect of adrenaline.

As if on cue, Kahn called out in a decision that the sparred enough already, and should take a break to see if Scarlet had made any progress towards waking up. That was actually a good idea. Hibiki had almost forgotten about the pink clad woman during the fight they had. ''Sure, I think it's a good idea. We could use a break anyway.'', he said as he picked himself off the ground, desummoning Byakko in the process.
