Hidden Terrors (User Mass Awakening 2)

After them barraging at the samurai thingy for a while, it finally fell. Hm, it wasn't as tough as Kaihei originally thought, considering that it didn't give them that much of a trouble. Everyone seemed to be still fine and standing, therefore it was a success. He was still a little annoyed at this Shadow thing for even challenging them, but he could grumble all he wanted to, and it wouldn't change anything. At least, the area suddenly went back to normal, the red and green slinking away, which probably meant no more monsters. Although, whatever it was, it was still strange. How could something like that just come and go as it pleased? It didn't make mich sense. And the rest of the people technically didn't even take notice of it. Too surreal if he was to say anything.

''As overjoyed as I am that it is gone, what was that supposed to mean, aside from these Shadow creatures wanting to tear us apart?'', he asked, his words partly sour and laced with sarcasm a bit. Kaihei did not enjoy being played around with, not even by some supernatural beings. He didn't like it when he couldn't just punch the cause of a problem in the face and be done with it.

It was gone. Everything was gone. The Shadows, the fog... and Nanami's strength. With a small cry that might have sounded something like 'oh god, knees' she collapsed onto the ground. Her breath was coming in heavy pants of air, and she could feel her body shaking. She wanted something hot and greasy right about now, and yet she dared not move. She listened with only half an ear to the man complaining above her, and waited with a dull but ravenous interest as to what Mio would say. She was, after all most senior of all of them. She knew the most.

Thinking about seniors, Nanami thought about who else could wield a shadow, no a Persona. Was she really that tired to get them mixed up? Who would have one...? Hero-san most certainly. He would be her first choice. She couldn't think of anyone else at this point in time. But she had an idea. A way to screen out those who knew about Personas and those who thought it was simply a cool concept for a story. She began to mentally plot out what she would do before cursing herself and turning her mind at the conversation above her, pillowing her heavy head against her weary arm.

It was over... It was over...

The thing disappeared along with the fog, at long last. Megumi could hear Kai-kun say something, but she didn't really care at that point. She was exhausted. Then again, who wouldn't? The girl near her sure did, as she collapsed onto the ground. Megi ducked beside her, worry spread across her face. "Hey... You all right?" If Megi had to be honest, she had no idea how to behave in situations like these. Her brain had no idea how to process this kind of information, which always resulted into Megumi looking like a dolt. She was hoping that now she wasn't looking like one.

The shadow dropped toward the ground before bursting into a vanishing spiral of shadows, slowly disappearing within seconds before nothing was left of the shadow. She felt relieved that the dam thing was down for good and even the surrounding area was returning back to normal which should be signifying that its fully over, releasing a large sigh. She was happy nothing bad happened to anyone and that they could now see each others as equals and get to know each other better.

Said Kaihei, causing a big thud to strike Mio for thinking to soon from the sound of his voice. She watched as Nanami fell before Mio's reflexes kicked in, throwing herself toward her and catching her arm before she reached the ground. Mio lifted Nanami back to her feet while throwing her arm over Mio's shoulder.

"Well, assuming from your expressions from the beginning of the fight. This is the first time using your persona's. So first things first. Congratulations!~ You should get use to the shadows coming at you in the future, cause from now on your lives have been changed, in a big way."

She said.

((This is ridiculous. Safirone should have posted by now. If anyone doesn't mind, I'll go ahead and skip him.))

Well, someone catching her was odd. She lurched about like a drunkard before clinging tightly to Mio, grateful for the gesture. "It's okay," Nanami mumbled, standing and feeling her knees shaking. The girl in the tan jacket thought it would be safer and easier if she wound up on the cold ground, but... Mio-senpai probably knew best.

After hearing just a bit more expository dialogue, Nanami sent up a weary cheer. "Can we go home now? I feel like I need to sleep for a week." we'll, that wasn't the only thing she was going to do at home, but it would be one of the first.

Luckily enough, Mio-san pulled up the girl back onto her feet. She still looked quite shaken, though. Megi stood up. What Mio-san said didn't really made her feel all that better, if she had to be honest. She felt severely exhausted now, and to think that those things could pop-up anywhere...

The girl had a point, though. Megi really wanted to go to bed. Good thing that she didn't share her room with anyone else. Eager to return back to the dorm, she agreed. "I have to agree with that statement wholeheartedly. In the end, I think all of us could use some well deserved rest..."

Mio released Nanami-San as she pushed herself to stand up on her own. Mio nodded toward Nanami with a worried look on her face, but she knew that she was trying to be strong for the good of the group, so she let it slide and allowed Nanami to do what she wished. Mio stepped to the side, grabbing her bag once again and threw it over her shoulder opening it up before checking its contents making sure that everything was in there.

"Can we go home now? I feel like I need to sleep for a week."

Nanami asked. Mio only gave a shrug with a unsure face expression.

"Sure, I don't think they'll be coming back anytime soon. So make sure you sleep your eight hours."

Mio said in a concerned tone as she crossed her arms beneath her chest. She jumped in place as she reminded herself of something. Throwing her arm in her bag she fetched her phone.

"Here let me give you both my number, just in case of an emergency."

Placing her phone beside their own, she'd use the infer red function to give each other their numbers. Afterwards she'd bow before heading off back to her dorm, tired of such a battle that she wasn't prepared for and might take a long nap of her own.

Kaihei spent most of the time watching the events passively, merely regarding the females with a bored stare, as they proceeded to scramble off the ground. But he had to agree on the subject of finally getting out of here. He wasn't totally exhausted, but he could still use a rest after this whole ruckus. Besides, who in their right mind would want to risk waiting for more Shadow stuff to appear. Not that he didn't trust himself if that happened, as he was not a wimp, but he didn't feel like hanging around anymore. 'Whatever...'

Giving the trio of girls one more glance as they were talking about phone numbers, he just shrugged slightly at the scene. ''Well, I don't know about you, but I'm outta here right now. See you whenever.'', he'd say grumpily, not wanting to be too rude and just walk out without saying at least some sort of goodbye, if this could be classified as so. With that, he would turn around and walk off towards the dorms whether the rest of their little spot on group stayed or went away too.

Mio-san left, then Kahei-san. That just left two of the original four who had fended off the shadows here. Herself and the othe girl. "Uh... So... Ummmm...." She really didn't want to stay and be polite to her. Out of all of them, it seemed like Nanami was the weakest of them. Ah, damnit, she knew where she needed to go to get her strength back but that would be rude to just leave her here. "I'm sorry, I don't really feel comfortable giving out my phone number, but I do go to Kisuna Academy if you need to find me again. Good day." Nanami bowed to the girl and moved in a different direction. She wouldn't go home. Not immediately. First, a soak in the hot spring.

Everybody hurriedly left after somewhat successfull number exchange - in which Megi participated. Her mind felt fuzzy, unable to focus. A clear sign of exhaustion for Megi. "Now to only get my ass back to the dorm... I wish that Kai-kun waited a bit." it was a wierd this to wish for, but Megumi wasn't sure if she was able to make it back on her own. However, she had no other choice, but to go back by herself.
