A woman whose appearance makes her look like she is in her early twenties. Being a small diminutive woman of five feet and three inches, Anya is usually seen as a gentle lady who cannot bring harm to many. Though her small slim figure belies much internal strength from her kung fu experience which easily makes her one of the most underrated martial artists in the world. Sadly for her devotion to God, she has been given a rather curvaceous body that would catch the eyes of most men. Though that doesn't stop her from trying to stay on the path of the Lord in any way. Like many nuns she wears a religious habit with a white veil concealing much of her hair.
Personality:
Like many sisters of the faith, Arya is a devout follower of Christ who had given up most of the pleasures of life as required. She is a careful observer of her god and is usually seen doing chores for the church as part of the Order. Of course, she does have a motherly aura as befitting of her occupation. This is supplemented with her knowledge in cooking and medicine.
Unlike many sisters stationed in the first world countries, Arya has firsthand experience with most of the dark side of human nature. Likewise, she is hardly so much naive to put too much stock to her faith like many others. Rather, she fimly believes in the kindness and love of Christ while not allowing its strict backwards laws to hold her back from spreading and accepting these ideas.
Though she does have a mischievous streak at times. This is most prevalent when she tries to haggle down a few grocery prices when needed. Despite this, Arya looks upon others with mercy and kindness. But to the few that are truly beyond God's forgiveness, she pities. Even more rarely does she actually feel raw anger to another person unless it is a bit annoyance. That said, she can be firmly strict when some people are a bit on the side of stupidity.

Strengths:
—Strength Name: Bagua Tornado
—Description: Bagua is known for their vicious fast circular movements to the point that they're likened to a tornado. It sums up their quick dexterous movements to evade and to attack in various angles. These circular movements are said that the origins of aikido is to have come from there. This is also translated to their Bagua Saber techniques, which makes them similar to a spinning top with razor sharp blades when used. This makes getting to extreme close quarters combat difficult for opponents.
—Strength Name: Fa Jing
—Description: The Chinese concept of "Explosive Power" from exceptional efficient use of the whole body to create an immense amount of force to be utilized against the opponent. And this force can travel through physical matter seamlessly in a short distance, bypassing obstacles like shields unless they are very thick. Arya's form of Fa Jing cannot truly cause vicious harm like more direct styles like Xing Yi. But it is formidable enough to cause many to be thrown in the air or held down by joint manipulation techniques. When used together with her saber, she could seamlessly cut through brick without damaging the edge while also using the centrifugal force.
—Strength Name: Hua Jing
—Description: The Chinese concept of "neutralizing forces". It is fairly similar to the Japanese concept of Aiki where they neutralize opposing forces through parrying or catching blows harmlessly. It also helps lead into various counterattacks against the enemy. Arya is most proficient in such techniques as Bagua is known to be one of the three main internal styles.
—Strength Name: Jing Ting
—Description: The Chinese concept of "sensing forces". It is most prevalently seen in Wing Chun and Tai Chi practices of Sticky Hands. Other kung fu styles also practice this through their arms to help feel and predict where attacks are going to target. The pinnacle of this skill consists of being able to sense opposing forces with the whole body using all five senses. It also works with Hua Jing.
—Strength Name: Nurse's Knowledge
—Description: As a nun who had traveled through Africa and war zones to work as a nurse (and then a field doctor), Anya has a considerable amount of medical knowledge that may prolong or save a person's life depending on the damage to the body. Arya is also has some experience in cooking as well from her childhood at the restaurant and from working in African charity centers.
Weaknesses:
—Weakness Name: Fragile
—Description: Despite being such a great martial artist, Anya cannot take hits very well. She doesn't have a constitution that does well against weathering off attacks to her body. This makes her ability to use Hua Jing and Jing Ting even more so important.
—Weakness Name: Motherly Peace
—Description: As a nun, she tries to avoid combat whenever possible. But this can serve to exacerbate a bad situation further. This usually puts her into a disadvantage in many fights against humans.
—Weakness Name: Mercy
—Description: While she wouldn't show much to mere Shadows, she would exhibit signs of mercy to many humans. And it is very easy to take advantage of, something that she can never afford in the most crucial situations. Though at the most rarest moments, it can be a great strength.
—Weakness Name: Devotion
—Description: As a nun, a devout follower of God, she is hesitant to do things that would go against the teachings of her god. It makes her options and choices much more limited when trying to deal with specific situations that may include cutting off her path to the Lord.
—Weakness Name: Unwanted Attention
—Description: With her appearance both as a woman and nun, she does catch a few lecherous eyes from a number of men. Some may actually to try to seek her out for their own malicious intentions.

Weapon Description: A huge curved Chinese saber that reaches up to six feet in height. Has a round circular guard just at the top of the slightly curved hilt. Requires much strength and skill to wield it effectively.

The Background

History:
As a young child in Taiwan, Arya had a Russian father and a Taiwanese mother. She had a fairly normal upbringing as they lived in a middle class environment. However, it changed when her father suffered from a car accident that eventually took his life in a few days. This left her mother and the child on their own. However, just living off a teacher's salary did not bring much comfort in their life. In the duo's most extreme circumstance, they relied on the previous patriarch's friend. A master of Baguazhang, who ran both a kung fu kwoon and a simple restaurant in the city.
Her childhood was nothing short of mundane except for training in Bagua while making sure to study for a good university for the next years until her last year in high school. Of course, she helped out in the restaurant downstairs of the kwoon to help her new benefactor make money for the family. She made friends with the students as they practiced together in the martial art while eating together as a family when off-practice. Those years were her most happiest memories. But they will only serve to be painful.
It was a few days after graduation when fire burnt down both the restaurant and kwoon while killing her mother and relatives in the process, leaving her all alone. Not even the students who she regarded as family ever bothered to help her. They have abandoned her to go on their own paths. With no form of income, she was homeless for two years with no success of teaching her mastered form of Bagua to any potential students.
After all, she is a no-name person that has no way of proving herself to others. In the end, Anya was forced to pursue prostitution in her young age. With her already endowed body, customers were easy to get. But the agent was abusive and took most of the cash, barely leaving some for her own. She couldn't possibly harm this man as he still had his uses. And on her own, she was useless. It was then she had truly contemplated suicide each day.
That was until she met a Mother Superior of a convent one day. It was that calling that brought her under God's light. The prostitute had taken several years of becoming accustomed to Christ's guidance and had left her deplorable occupation, though not before throwing her previous agent off a two floor building as a little payback from all the pain.
As Arya had become a sister, she later committed her time to prayer and the observance of God's teachings. Under the Vatican's orders she went out to Africa and Middle Eastern war zones to provide charity and help to the civilians in need for four years. Of course, she did have a few kung fu sessions with the villagers as part of a healthy exercise.
As the Bagua master had left, she has finally arrived in Ueitawa to take her place as a sister in the Hayabusa Catholic Church. For the first few years, Anya had difficulty with the language. But eventually she has become accustomed enough to live normally.

| Your strengths are a bit unclear. I get your medical knowledge and your heightened senses, and your second strength of being physically strong, however the first and third of your strengths are not only similar, they are covering too many things. If you want to have one be agility and the other being good at parrying or whatever you wish, you need to make it as clear as possibly so anyone can walk in here and understand it. Make sure to edit those particular strengths, and everything else seems fine. | |
