| The Ascanna Codex This is a compendium of all unusual terms, factions, places and otherwise that the party has encountered during their time in Ascanna. If you're ever confused about any particular terminology used in Story context, you can always refer to this Codex here.
The Congregation: The Congregation refers to Ascanna's Government System. The system itself is split into Five separate branches: The Editorial Branch, The Rule and Law Branch, The Economical Branch, The National Defense Branch, and finally the Governance Branch.
Saint: The title of Saint is used to refer to the Five men and women who effectively rule all of Ascanna. As leaders of country and faith both, the Five Saints are revered by the Ascannan people. Upon a Saint's passing, it falls to the Governance Branch (and its elected Saint, if applicable), to pick a successor. Upon taking a seat at the Congregation as a Saint, you renounce your names, titles and previous allegiances, and replace them with that of your seat.
The Adamant Vanguard: The Adamant Vanguard is seen by the public as a sort of "Royal Guard" for the Congregation, but their duties go well beyond just protection. The Vanguard is equipped to deal with all manner of supernatural and mundane threats, as each member of the force possesses some manner of supernatural ability. The Adamant Vanguard answers first and foremost to the Seat of War, Saint Forgia the Xth. The other Branches of the Congregation have their own equivalent of the Vanguard. People with Supernatural gifts that can aid in preserving and enhancing the Ascannan way of life.
Asca's Ethos: The widely distributed (and heavily edited) religious texts that dictate all of the Ascannan Faith in their Five Sovreign Deities is allocated within its pages. There is one, sole un-revised copy of this religious text still in existence, and it is currently in the hands of the Congregation.
