A hobo's napping spot (Cherry and Beverly SL)

Sleep was a odd thing. It leaves you totally defenseless, depending on how well the slept was, grumpy upon waking up, and when it was really good you wouldn't want to get up and actually do something productive. Yet everybody needed it and some people even yearned for it. Today, Cherry was one of these people.

She was rather tired today. Why? She wasn't quite sure herself. Maybe the boredom of staying in the Highrise was finally getting to her. But she could barely keep herself up and aware now. Her eyelids where heavy and her movements were slow and sluggish. She had to rest, trying to find demons to fend off was already dangerous enough as is. Being sleepy while she looked was going to get her hurt, or worse. Although it wasn't like she could just lay on the ground and sleep out in the open. There was a few buildings she could rest out, but most had the doors broken or the windows cracked. Most often a mixture of the two. Although as she looked for a place to nap, she did come across something that could fit the bill. It was a car, one she has seen before but today it could be of use. The wheels were stuck in the snow and ice, the windows long since frozen over. But it seemed safe enough and Cherry was willing to take what she could get. Reaching out to grasp the handle, she soon recoiled and shook it in the air, hissing softly as the cold metal hurt her skin. She quickly switched over to her wooden arm, the chunky limb grasping the handle with no problems. With a single pull Cherry pried the door open. The outside handle getting crushed under the sheer, inhuman strength Cherry wielded. The teen wormed her way into the vehicle. Closing the door with her wooden arm as she crawled over to the back seats.

The car was decently sized, big enough for her to fully strech out and get comfortable. If anybody were to look into the window they would find the girl laying on her back, her flesh hand on her stomach and her eyes closed as she tried to nap. Her larger limb was off to the side, sitting in the floor of the car. Lucky for her, the blonde's custom coat hid the wooden quailty of the arm, but did nothing to hide it's sheer size that would be almost comical if it wasn't attached to such a frail girl.

Beverly was moving through the streets of the high rise once more under a pile of blankets and other things doing her best to keep herself warm. Though unfortunately the cold was worst today so she fiigured it probably be better to hunker down somewhere so she could warm up. Moving as fast as she could she finally stumbled on to a decently sized car that would make for a good temporary shelter and hey someone already had opened it recently. Moving cautiously closer to the vehicle after one may never know when or a where a demon will appear Beverly looks into car.

Looking in she sees a what looks like a young girl sleeping in the car. Beverly sighed and was about to head off to find a different shelter before a cold wind blew sending a shiver up her body. Not wanting to take anymore time to find a shelter and beside at least with a second person it would be warmer. Beverly un covered her face so the girl would be able to see her then she knocked firmly on the side of the car well looking through a window.

Right as Cherry was about to drift off into the land of dreams and sudden knocking made the girl tense up and her eyes to snap open. The knock was surprising, it sure as hell shocked her but the knock didn't seem like a demon was knocking on her window. If it was a demon the knocking would be harder, trying to breath through the glass. This just sounded like somebody was trying to get her to wake up and look their way. Which the blonde did, she quickly turned over so that she was sitting on her knees and that her larger left limb would be eaiser to use, just in case this did turned out to be a trap. It didn't seem like this was going to be a trap however, as it seemed like a normal human woman that was woefully underdressed for the Highrise. Only being covered in loads of blankets. While Cherry was looking at her face, the other woman would have her chance to get a better look at the teen's face. When it came to facial features, other then her grey eyes she didn't have any stand out details. She had some dirt and caked on mud on her cheeks, a very sleepy but not hostile expression on her face.

After a few seconds of just blankly looking at her Cherry gave the stranger a soft smile. As she reached out for the inner handle of the car. Using her human hand this time, it would give her more trouble but the woman would orobably find out that something was off with her once she actually got into the car. No need to make that knowledge easy to find out. With a few hard pushes, the fifth time proved to be the charm. The car door opening up and letting the two ladies talk. "You must be freezing! Come in here, quickly! You're going to turned into a ice cube at this rate!"
