| Was he going to end his lecture already? Shannon wasn’t surprised, considering how much he spoke and how much time her little detour took up. The only thing she could really complain about was the homework. To her, it was like performing maintenance tests all over again; long and boring. Unlike those tests though, homework was proving to be anything but easy. Even if Conch could take notes without have to write anything down, they were more like a recording in her head that she could repeat back. She didn’t know what those words meant however. Most topics, she could get away with the knowledge she had been programmed with, not history though. Nothing of the far past was part of her normal data. This left her with only one choice. She had to ask for assistance, and rule one of spying said to get all the information from the top. She had to speak just loud enough to be heard by him, but soft enough not to draw attention “Gomen, Jin-sensei. Could I get some help on this later? Despite that conversation we had earlier, I’m not the best with history.” If his answer were yes, she would gladly take whatever help he could offer. If it was no, she was out of luck.
((For the love of all that is holy, you do not need to explain everything in your next post, if you choose to help. Just play like you did. Unless you want to look at your notes again.))

| After handing out the students' day of history homework, many of them would begin their work to get a head start. Since they did have a limited time to finish after school, it was best to make use of the time they had left. As he was about to walk back to the desk to sit for the remainder of the waning period, a familiar voice called out to him.
“Gomen, Jin-sensei," he heard Shannon call for him, "Could I get some help on this later? Despite that conversation we had earlier, I’m not the best with history.”
The history teacher raised a quizzical eyebrow at her request. Sure, he lacked qualms to help out students after class, since he really didn't have any other job. But to hear this girl admit her weakness in the subject while even sounding smart from prior did seem a bit contradictory. But no matter. This was his job. To teach and help students excel in their studies.
"Of course," Jin nodded with a reassuring smile, "Come to the library after school. We'll see how it goes. I'll see you then."
The bell finally rang, signalling the end of his class session.
"Well. I guess that's that. Have fun with your day, everyone."
Quickly packing up his suitcase, he gave a farewell wave to the body of teenagers in front of him. Then he left with the sliding doors opening to allow him to leave for his next batch of students.
OOC: Thread finished. Also alright Conch. I'll try to keep that in mind. :3 | |
