Cain had no idea what he was doing here. The young man was standing in a small music store, looking at their selection with a mix of curiosity and nervousness. Normally Cain wasn't the type to try new things. He tended to view them as a waste of time. Sure it was pessimistic, but why bother trying to learn something if he'd just fall flat on his face? Today, however, he'd decided for a change. Perhaps it was the recent excitement of his journey into Limbo or his encounter with this 'Crawling Chaos" that had shaken his usual apathy? Cain himself wasn't entirely sure. He'd never liked the idea that anyone else's actions could actually affect who he was. For better or worse he was the one in charge of his life, or lack thereof. But on the other hand, didn't avoiding certain things just because to avoid others mean they were still the ones dictating his life?
"Let's just have one nice day out where we can buy something cool and not spend time on pontificating nonsense. That would be swell." Cain muttered aloud, in an attempt to silence his own thoughts. It would be a nice change of pace not to ruin another experience by over thinking it. Just for the sake of variety and all. Besides, he already knew a little about music, he'd played piano for some time, so maybe things would work out this time? It wouldn't be the craziest thing that happened lately, right?
Cain shoved his hands into his pockets and strolled over to where they kept a few used guitars. He'd been interested in learning to play one for a while now. He'd always been a little nervous about trying, but maybe today he'd give it a shot. He just hoped he could find one than he could afford.
