The Biography

Birth Name: Grimm Zaire Aliases: The Watchdog Gender: Male Age: 68; appearance-wise looks to be around 26 Birth Day: 2nd March...probably Arcana: Priest ~ Priest is the equivalent of the Hierophant Arcana, numbered 5, yet, unlike the Hierophant Arcana, which is a symbol associated with the christian pope, the Priest is a symbol of a pagan priest. ~ Pros: Personas of the Priest Arcana are generally associated with modern weaponry and pagan methodologies as a heretical symbol of defiance to established religions. ~ Users have a latent 10% boost to instant kill effects and a 10% boost to Gun-based damage output. Place of Residence: Spaceship Zerox. A medium sized human community that traversed the anti-space in hopes of being the ones to find some sort of salvation in this new world. The ship was a highly technologically supplied one, with a lot of reinforcements and tech toys, as if the humans on it were trying to go beyond and abandon typical human life in some way, and 'evolve' further. Appearance:
A fairly tall individual, Grimm stands at about 6'2" in height, with a more or less lean build at glance that accentuates his stature. With pale skin, bright yellow eyes and black hair with light brownish highlights, complete with bangs that he keeps longer on one side than the other, he might occasionally stand out, but overall passes quite well for a human. For the most part, he maintains a well-kept appearance, and is rarely seen in any state of mess, clothes-wise or in general. He is known to dress semi-formally by default, sticking to either pure black or black with white and once in a while darker blue. Grimm is rarely seen wearing any accessories as he finds little need to put bling of any kind on himself, preferring to keep it neat and fairly simple.
Personality:
An almost oddly paradoxical person, Grimm may come off a little hard to relate to for both the more outgoing, and the quieter types of people. At a glance, he is a generally calm and stoic, seemingly not overly interested in the often dramatic affairs of the people around him, or in his general vicinity. Oftentimes, he may be found sticking to his own self rather than going out of his way to engage with others and hold small talk with them. He does, however, project a certain vibe of intensity whether he is interacting with people or not. One could liken it to feeling like you are being watched by a predator that is waiting for the right moment to strike. Not to say that he does intent to take people down, but in spite of his somewhat detached demeanor, he pays close attention, and has in fact no reservations about saying things to people's faces when he deems it necessary.
Typically, Grimm does not appear to have a very fun loving character, although he is quite adept at making it through such situations if he has to. In a way, he just seeks to do his own thing, in his own way, but will very quickly retaliate or show involvement when things cross a certain line that he is no longer willing to tolerate. He can even be quite the protective figure, assuming people do not get put off by his...not as friendly seeming energy. He will do what he has to do, but preferably without all the feely mojo-jojo most people, and especially humans, tend to automatically gravitate towards.

The Potential

Racial Bonus: Anti-Shadow Suppression weapons are lifelike humanoid (or alien shaped) robots, or androids, or toasters. Either way, these automated and self-aware robots have been built in order to harness the power of the Potential and help combat the threat of Anti-Space. However, being an ASSW in these times can be dangerous, as a hivemind of ASSWs intent on assimilating all life in the Post-World has been ravaging civilizations all over the place. This puts ASSWs in a spot of distrust but also even greater danger of being assimilated themselves.
[ASSW Characters gain the Orgia Mode, activated upon the activation of any of their Plugs' special skills]
Orgia Mode activates automatically (this isn't optional) when a special ability, such as the Order Persona Plugs' Fusion Attack or Weapon Persona Plugs' Last Life, is activated. Orgia Mode lasts 3 turns during which the user has full access to the currently equipped Plug's activated special ability (such as using the Fusion Attack up to 6 times instead of only once). Note that other Special Abilities cannot be activated during Orgia Mode or its overheating period, even if their requirements are met (such as Last Life’s HP threshold). Additionally, skill costs are halved (stacks with Shadow Massacre's cost halving ability), and user can take an extra action within the PvS combat phase. After Orgia Mode, the user suffers the full repercussions of their activated special ability on top of being unable to take any actions for 3 turns. Additionally, attacks against the user will have a 30% chance to knock them down while they're overheating from this enhanced Orgia Mode. Upon reaching Level 35, Orgia mode can be upgraded into one of two new forms, branded as Hot and Cold Orgia Mode respectively.
Strengths:
—Strength Name: Max Overclock —Description: Having been created in part for the purpose of protection, Grimm has an enhanced overclock mechanism inbuilt that allows him to push the limits even further when using Orgia Mode. (+20% Ppstr during OM)
—Strength Name: Repair Tech —Description: Having had a decent amount of time to himself and an interest in technology lead to Grimm taking it upon himself to learn how his body worked, becoming rather efficient at repairing himself were he to suffer any damage that didn't incapacitate him completely. He also knows how to disassemble and rebuild other kinds of similar mechanisms and even different types of tech, although how successful he is may vary depending on the uniqueness of what he's dealing with.
—Strength Name: Gun Proficiency —Description: Acting as the main guard and defense on the spaceship naturally required at least some skill with weapons, and Grimm had chosen to master wielding guns. He's got quite the aim and knows how to use these dangerous weapons very well. He's frequently seen carrying an actual gun with real ammo as well, despite having access to versions that deal soul damage. (Boosts the chances any extra effects of Gun skills by 10%)
—Strength Name: Metal Strength —Description: Unsurprisingly enough, being a machine can grant one a number of advantaged, and being more combat oriented, Grimm was made with natural strength that goes beyond humans, allowing him to quite easily cause harm or break structure even with his bare hands. That said, it is always possible for alien species or even other machines with higher strength levels to exist still.
—Strength Name: Not Interested —Description: A rather reserved person, as well as lacking much interest in closer relationships with most others, Grimm is known to be either dismissive or near clueless about certain tactics people tend to use to win others over. Manipulation might be a big miss on him. (15% less chance of being affected by Charm)

—Weakness Name: Max Overclock 2 —Description: With extra power come heavier consequences, and while his build allows Grimm to fight harder in a crisis, he also suffers a bigger drawback afterwards. (Takes 15% more damage from attacks received during OM overheat)
—Weakness Name: Heavyweight —Description: To enable his enhanced strength properly, Grimm has a lot of metallic reinforcements under his skin, making him quite heavy and clunky to move about, if he's ever in a situation where he cannot move on his own. It's doubtful that a normal person would be able to so much as drag him on the ground, making him a big dead weight in such cases.
—Weakness Name: Metallic Draw —Description: With a high concentration of metal all around, Grimm doesn't particularly do well with strong magnetic fields, or anything that carries such effects. They can heavily restrict his free movement just by proximity. (Takes 20% more damage from Magnetic skills)
—Weakness Name: Mistrust —Description: Having been created and 'used' by what he believes to be a bunch of misguided humans, this particular ASSW has a good deal of distaste towards humans to start with, and could prove to act less friendly towards them, especially if they give him any reason to think that they see his 'kind' in certain ways that get on his nerves.
—Weakness Name: Righteous Anger —Description: In spite of his general calm and more dismissive nature, Grimm does hold onto a good deal of resentment towards a number of things, and also has a dislike towards those who try to impose on others too much. He has the capability to get rather aggressive and belligerent in certain situations, if he determines that he's had enough. (+15% chance of being inflicted with Rage)

The Background

History:
Humans always sought to create robotic look-a-likes of themselves for some sort of purpose, and this case was no different. The small overzealous community of humans travelling on the spaceship Zerox were a rather ambitious unit, believing that they could for sure be the ones to find an important breakthrough when it came to restoring the world back to its original state. However, the task was clearly not a simple one, and they quickly began to worry about even living long enough to see their ultimate goal get accomplished. That was what first sparked their forays into experimenting with machines, thinking that they could create a way for them to live beyond normal age through the use of non-living bodies. That perhaps mechanical life was one step further to the best way of existence...or some weird nonsense belief like that.
Having been the only one of their creations that ended up being kept, Grimm frankly never understood what it was those fools were obsessing about. Humans were such paranoid beings, really. That in itself was also the only reason why they decided he was useful to keep around...as their bodyguard, so they could be sure to not get killed that easily before they found their stupid enlightenment somewhere. A load of crap...that's what the exasperated android thought about their goals. Nevertheless, he also couldn't be bothered to try to turn against them. There were a little too many even for someone with enhanced strength and a durable body like him. Besides, he did find some interesting things to learn from being stuck in such a place. While he couldn't care less about their fanaticism, they did have quite a good variety of technological material available at hand. Which was what he spent most of his time tinkering around with when he wasn't required to play guard to somebody on a new exploration venture...
...almost a rather uneventful life, until one day everything mysteriously blacked out on the ship, and when he next managed to make sense of his surroundings again, he was stuck on a different ship this time. And somehow, he wasn't certain whether that one would be a whole lot better.... |
