Jackie Chen Is A Heavenly Angel [Isabelle/Shouhei]

Shouhei Kagawa leaned against the wall outside the BND Theater, smoking a clove cigarette.  After receiving a text message from Isabelle Salinov, the first person to befriend him in Endymion, it appeared that she really did want to see him again, and that brought a certain giddiness to him.  Despite his awkward and impulsive second attempt at trying to meet her, which caused her to jokingly accuse him of being a stalker, Isabelle gave him another chance not to prove himself as some sort of deviant creep.

Which he wasn’t.

Admittedly he was a bit of a rude and callous individual, but Shouhei was definitely not some pervert- at least not when it came to those matters.  That’s why he gave his phone number to her, so that she could arrange a meeting on her own time, instead of him recklessly looking for her in this city.  She wanted to see the newest Jackie Chen movie that he proposed last time they met, “Dragons Never Die.”  

Shouhei was equally excited to see that and Isabelle again, and a puff on his cigarette calmed his anxiousness.

Well despite her own personal reservations about this Shouhei person, Astarte was having her go give him a second chance, truth be told he did seem to be trying to get to know her, but DAMN was he acting quite creepy when he hunted down what Gym she went to, that had honestly had almost convinced her to not bother calling, but Astarte did point that out if he DID try anything....she could destroy the guy, and that was all well and true. So with that reassurance she decided to send him a text about that movie he had talked about. Besides he tried anything funny she could make it a public issue and get some cops involved if she had to.

Though truth be told he really didn't strike her as the kind to do anything, not with the way he was fidgety and clearly embarrassed about how he tracked her down so it didn't seem he was the kind to do things like that normally, at least that's what Astarte had noted to her and she had gotten this far with things listening to her demon. Besides by having him arrive first she could be sure he was out in the open rather then waiting somewhere shade. Though Astarte Chastised her for thinking That ill of the guy.

"Okay fine, I get it he's really just harmless" she said to herself as she walked down the street and shook her head with a little smirk, she normally didn't have Arguments with Astarte....well okay she had a LOT of arguments, but Astarte rarely pushed her point this hard, so maybe Isabelle was being a BIT harsh on her initial judgment of Shouhei.

Turning the corner to the theater she spotted the guy, and he was smoking as he waited, well least he didn't show up hammered though as she walked forward a voice spoke in her head "Well first date...what you going to do after the movie?...well I guess first date...I mean we haven't had a REAL date since we got out....was kinda Hoping that Wicked girl was up to trying it out...sad really that she isn't as adventurous as she pretends to be, she would have been quite the strong one to have around...but this Shouhei isn't half bad, but I don't think he's the right fit" the voice of course was her Demon and Isabelle had to stifle a laugh.

"Oh come on this won't go anywhere, besides I doubt he would wanna get that close once he learns more about me and my...well..our...urges and needs" she responded mentally to her demon as she walked up to Shouhei.

"Hey there, I see you managed to find the place. Good to know...did I keep you waiting long?" she greeted him and then asked as she stopped next to him, upwind of the smoke of course so it wasn't blowing in her face.

“...Not too long, enough to burn away most of this cig,” Shouhei chuckled while snubbing the cigarette out in a tin he carried specifically for that purpose.  An eager grin spread his features as he threw several play jabs in the air (away from Isabelle of course).

“Ain’tcha hyped for a new Jackie Chen movie?!  I sure as hell am.”

Isabelle smiled as he answered back and she nodded a bit as he gave his little play jabs in the air "Well of course I am hyped, the guy knows now to make an entertaining fight, and granted while sometimes the stories are not the best it's still a far cry from what others put out, the fight Coriography is usually amazing" she said as she looked to the theater then to her friend.

"So we going in then? or is it not starting yet?" she asked as she checked the time, she hadn't really checked for the movie start time since she assumed he would have things set up as he was the one that made the suggestion, granted that didn't stop her from planning things for later.
