| Lupin was minding his business bouncing around Endymion as usual, just relaxing for the day when he noticed a strange blue door. Lupin was baffled with the mist effects of the door. "Was this door always here?" Triboulet as usual said something to Lupin. "Hey you should walk in there Lupin." Lupin seemed confused about why Triboulet would suggest that. Lupin asked him. "Oh you seem confident this isn't dangerous." Triboulet responded with just simply. "Do it you little bitch."
Lupin said "Okay okay I am going in." Lupin had went through the door and found himself in The Velvet room. Lupin a little shocked screamed a little in horror "OH MY GOD WHERE I AM!" Lupin trying to calm down at the sudden change of senceay said. "Is anyone here?" Lupin looked concern as this was his first time in the Velvet Room.

| Lupin would notice a few things immediately when he entered the door. The space he was in mimicked a prison, all the walls cast in deep blue hues. He would be bound by chains, very much akin to those he called on to wield his persona. And there was a distinctly angry man in a labcoat, throwing a stapler at him. As the object hurtled towards him, he plucked something from his labcoat that was distinctly...sharper. "Stop. Yelling. Understand?" | |

| Lupin was in absolute shock he is in chains and in a prison cell and what more he was about to get hit with a stapler. "Oh no you don't." Lupin ended up grabbing the stapler and proceed to make a staple gun. Even though it was close to useless Lupin needed to make the best of this problem. "I know how to use this." Lupin was going to try and fire it but then he saw the knife like an object the strange man was holding Lupin started to quiet down. "Okay I will calm down can you please tell me where I am?"
Lupin looked legitimately concerned is he going to die here? Triboulet seemed to disagree as he said out loud. "Go ahead throw that knife you won't land it." Triboulet seemed confident with this statement. Lupin was still very confused. "Wait a minute Triboulet did you just spoke out loud?" Triboulet yelled back to Lupin. "You know it Lupin." Triboulet then appeared, he seems to be able to manifest in this strange blue area. Lupin is dumbfounded, "What the hell?" Lupin turned to the stranger in the lab coat and asked him a question. "I am guessing since I can summon Triboulet here, I am guessing you're a terrorist too? Lupin now has so many questions but he felt like he wouldn't get answered. "Why I am in a cell?" Lupin is now just baffled he stopped screaming at least.

| As Lupin, oddly enough, actually managed to grab the stapler, he simply turned the scalpel in his fingers and gave the latest interruption to his business a hard look. He really didn't know what they were expecting to do with the thing anyway - the most they could really do is make the few staples loaded in the pop out harmlessly. Things finally seemed to sink in as the idiot noticed what he was holding. Looking smugly satisfied, he started to put the object away-
And frowned when the boy's persona showed up to start mouthing off.
Great. He really needed his compendium back.
"Do you have any sort of self control? Stop waving your dick about and put your persona away, because you are very lucky I'm not one of the people out to arrest you." Rolling his eyes, he strolled up to the boy, utterly unintimidated by the persona hanging about as he stood face to face. A palpable sense of disdain rolled off of the attendant as he looked at Lupin. "This is the Velvet Room. I'm one of the people that work here. And you are the idiot that I've been forced to look after."

| Ok, shit this guy looks serious. Lupin nodded as he apologized to the man. "I am terribly sorry about Triboulet he isn't normally like this is he usually well behaved." Triboulet then turned towards James not letting him leave his sight for one second. "Well excuse me if I want to stretch, you try being locked up in this fool's head its not fun." Triboulet just stood there as Lupin continued. "Yeah I am sorry mister." Lupin then went to ask the strange man something. "Can I please have your name, mister." Lupin went ahead and tugged the chains that were holding him.
"Can I ask why I am in chains?" Lupin then started to look around some more past the bars and looked at the errie Velvet Room. "So what do you do in this Velvet Room." Lupin had said this with cautious curiosity. Just what is this strange room? Lupin was determined to find out. "Sorry if I am hitting you with a lot questions this terrorist stuff is still pretty new to me." Lupin took note about what the stranger said, about being forced to take care of an idiot. "So wait someone knew I would come through here or is it your job to take care of teenage dirtbags who somehow winded up in here."
Will Lupin get any of his questions answered. Almost definitely not there is no way Lupin can see the lab coat man giving the answers he seeks. The lab coat dude looks rightfully pissed at Lupin and Triboulet. Will Lupin and Triboulet make it out alive, various times will tell. But for now Lupin now awaits the lab coat man's answer to his questions.

| "...put that thing away, or I will hit you. I'm not in the mood to listen to you talk shit about yourself." The attendant rolls his eyes. "At least you have better manners than some of the people that end up here..."
James starts to pace around Lupin, remaining close by. "You can call me James, Mr. Topplson. You have those chains because you live where you do and the universe loves a fucking metaphor..." He sneers. "And why yes, that is exactly my job. The adult and infantile dirtbags as well. Glad you understand about you and your peers." He scoffs. "Count yourself fortunate I knew you were coming, or I would have opened with the scalpel."

| Okay, at least things are starting to make sense. Lupin turned to Triboulet with a stern look on the face. Lupin said in an equally stern voice. "Triboulet you heard James, get back into my skull." Triboulet said "Alright then." Triboulet went inside Lupin's head again.
Lupin turned to James with a much more relaxed look on his face. "Well nice to meet you, Mr. James." Lupin turned his newly found staple gun back into the stapler it was always meant to be. Lupin then handed the stapler back. "I am guessing you will want this back." Lupin listened carefully to what James had to say, Lupin had noticed a strange detail. He never mentioned his last name, how come this guy knew it? "I hope you don't mind me asking but how do you know my last name? Does the Velvet Room keep a record of terrorist? if so how many terrorists are we looking at 10, 20, 200? I would like to know if you give me that information. Lupin now wants to know how deep this rabbit hole will get.
"Not to sound cliche but the universe sucks, why was I expecting anything more. Orphans that I basicly raised like a father figure are getting sick and starving, there are demons everywhere, and there is rich people who still don't have to suffer. Don't worry Mr.James I am very aware of unfair life can be." Lupin seemed rather calm about this while showing some spite not towards the James but rather life as a whole.

| Lupin got little acknowledgement as he recalled his persona, and he found the stapler sharply snatched from his fingers as he made to hand it back. "Yes. I would." James half-listened with disinterest as the questions kept coming. "Because you're here. Not telling you. Not telling you. Don't care if you want to know." He didn't have to answer, and frankly, he shouldn't in the first place. It was yet another iteration of a question he'd heard hundred upon thousands of times.
James raised an eyebrow. The dope was surprisingly bitter, and the attendant found himself stopping to laugh. "Are you sure? Are you really sure of that? Because I promise you, you haven't seen nearly enough to really understand." He continues to snicker, looking condescendingly at the boy. "Give it another 200 years, maybe you'll get an idea."

| Lupin seemed looked a little annoyed at James but figured, this is what he is like, might as well get used to it. Lupin sighed as he said to James "I guess you have point." Maybe visiting this room was a bad idea. Lupin seemed to somewhat understand James point of view, albeit in a much more smaller scale. So he figured the best thing to do is apologize. "I am sorry for being a hassle Mr. James."
Lupin then tried to have a more serious look on his face trying to be empathetic towards James as he said. "Taking care of people is hard thankless work." Lupin thinking that this conversation had turned pretty sour tried to brighten up the mood. "So aside from telling people they don't matter in the grand scheme of things. What do you do whats your actual job?" Lupin then said with a curious look on his face. "Seeing as I can summon my persona here, I am guessing its something to do with that?" Lupin is now looking at James with wonder. What will happen next, James probably knows.

| James scoffs. "Don't bother apologising. Unless you have a nose that can stretch across the average doorway, you only have your existence to be sorry for right now. I'm not that sick."The attendant stops pacing back and to the left of Lupin, fishing out a matt green rubber ball and tossing it between his hands, a vague sense of threat in the action as a hand occasionally twitches toward Lupin before sending the ball it holds back to the other hand again. A smirk creeps across his features as he starts to talk again. "Someone else can deal with that nonsense. I have better things to do." He snorts. "What I do is make the garbage you find into something actually useful to you. It's just a basic bit of alchemy, but it seems to impress you lot." | |

| Lupin having no clue what alchemy actually is proceeded to say in a confused tone "I feel like I am going to regret asking this for some reason, but whats alchemy?" Lupin seems baffled at the concept. "So you can turn the thing I got from that big metal demon into something I can actually use? That sounds amazing."
Lupin is just fascinated by the room as a whole. a place where there are people you can turn your junk into some cool stuff. This is one of the most bizarre experiences Lupin had since he arrived in Endymion.
Lupin then got a weird idea. He then asks James with a look of genuine intrigue. "Can alchemy improve my pogo stick?" Lupin moved his shoulders around just trying to stretch a little bit as he awaits James response.

| There was a little twitch from James as Lupin asked the question that indicated the attendant would rather like to validate that feeling, but he didn't trust the boy's hair-trigger person not to thwart any projectiles he could send their way. "I'll put it plainly for you - I make things into other things. That's the practical effect. There's rules to it that often go unappreciated, but that's the way it goes."
"Probably." He rolls his eyes. "Not that I would bother with something like that. If you want a better pogo stick, buy one."

| Lupin took note of what James said and did. Triboulet thinking that James can no longer hear him said to Lupin in his head. "I feel like we are just upsetting him, We should probably leave. He is likely going to help us in the near future so we better give him some space." Seeing as Lupin had no idea how to continue this conversation decided to bid James farewell. "OK then, well thank you for explaining a little bit about the velvet room to me Mr.James, this visit has been rather enlightening." Lupin looked around for an exit but couldn't figure out where it was.
Lupin then decided to ask James one more thing. "One more thing. How do I leave unless there is a door behind the inky dark abyss behind me, I can't seem to find the exit, I hate to ask this sorry but I am still new to this room and since this room has supernatural properties I am still trying to adjust." Lupin looked rightfully embarrassed.
If James instructs Lupin how to exit the Velvet Room, Lupin would leave, if he didn't tell him Lupin would take his chances at the dark abyss behind him and hope that would work.
Either way, Lupin: Exit.
