Hop to it. (Lupin/Frogio interaction)

Lupin seemed to be panicking as he holding a boot with some water with. Lupin is also carrying his pogo stick on his back, Lupin is shaking quite a bit he has the urge to bounce on his pogo stick immensely but he can't. for in the old boot, he was carrying there were some water and a little tadpole swimming inside. Lupin didn't recognize the strange creature and saw it swimming about in the boot while he was bouncing around. He picked up the boot and examined earlier thinking ok maybe I should find a pet shop and see would I should so with it.

Lupin is struggling to find a pet shop you would think Sunlake palms would have one? Maybe Lupin is walking through the wrong streets or something?

"Of course my phone would lose charge when I need it most that's what I get for an el cheapo phone.

Lupin, as he shrugs, continues. "Surely a pet shop would be nearby."

Lupin then starts to ask random people on the street where he can find a pet shop they all give conflicting information as if to toy with him. Lupin then spots a person with glasses with what appears to be green eyes from a distance.

"Hey excuse me sir do you know where I can find a pet shop by any chance?" Lupin looks concerned.

Frog thought he heard something over the music he was listening to on his headphones. A sound of someone calling out to him. Interested, he raised the headphones from his left ear, stopping in his tracks to look at the person. And then he promptly stepped back. "Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, what I think you need is someone who can save that saggy boot. Is that leather? The water might've ruined it already." He said, glancing from the pogo stick to the boot the guy was holding. The fact he was wearing a hoodie wasn't helping either. However, the guy did look awfully concerned over something and he held the boot way too carefully, almost as if it was his intention to keep the water inside....

"H...Is there something in your boot?" Frog had to ask, not knowing any better. It would've assuredly been smarter to simply back off and put his headphones back on to snuff out this guy's voice, but uhh...Frog wasn't being smart at the moment. "An....animal if you're lookng for a pet shop..?"

Lupin somewhat happy someone is actually helping him out begins to respond."Yeah, there is this weird fish thing inside the boot and I am not too sure what do with it." Lupin shows the stranger the contents of the boot.
"Do you know what this is by any chance?" Lupin never saw a tadpole or even heard about it. He never really received a proper education at all he doesn't even know what the birds and bees mean he just knows basic math mostly with currencies and has decent writing skills so seeing an animal he didn't know anything about didn't help as never really studied animals properly. he just knows the basic stuff Loins cows, etc not really their different stages of life and all that.
"I found this boot while bouncing about exploring Endymion as I usually do and as I was in the air I notice this creature in the boot and where I found it didn't have any water nearby so I went all the way to Sunlake Palms. I would have just dumped in the river but I was told once that certain fish need certain types of water to swim in and that's why I am looking for a pet shop so I can learn about it." Lupin is shaking with the urge to bounce on his pogo stick particularly in his legs.

Frog raised his hands in alert as the guy pushed the boot up to his face to look at it. He spoke of a fish yet what Frog could see swimming inside, after a bit of careful consideration, was indeed a tadpole. He'd seen tadpoles before but never this big. Honestly the ones he saw died off before they grew to such a size, but that was a story for another time. For now he was mostly confused by the stranger's words and kind of maybe afraid for his life!?

"T-that's a tadpole." He answered as calmly as he could. "I dunno how it ended up in the boot unless some frog actually had babies while inside of it, but then again you say there was no water in it to begin with, which wouldn't make it a viable mating site for frogs. Oh yeah tadpoles are like baby frogs..." Frog added, having a gut feeling this weird person wouldn't find any meaning in the word 'tadpole'. "I think tadpoles don't like running water. We'd be better off finding a lake, but yeah for now a pet shop would be fine." Luckily he knew of a nearby pet shop. After all, he owned a dog. "Need me to show you directions to it..?"

Lupin looking relieved that someone is willing to help him get this tadpole somewhere safe Lupin begins to speak "That's great whats closer a lake or a pet shop?" Lupin begins to notice the person looking a little grim so Lupin being the cheery fool that he begins to speak. "Well lets hop to it" Lupin then introduced himself.
"My name is Lupin, by the way, may I ask what's your name?" Lupin starts to appear more normal as his mind is not on his bouncing and more about talking to new people. After all big city doesn't know really know a lot of people all that good newbie stuff. Lupin is tempted to talk about his pogo stick but the tadpole comes first.

"Pretty sure a pet shop is closer." Frog answered. He didn't know of any nearby lakes. And this was a really dumb situation overall anyways. What were the people at a pet shop gonna do with the tadpole anyways? Keep it? Spray it with water? The two of them could probably get to a lake with just this dumb boot. But then again what if the tadpole ends up dead in the lake if the water doesn't suit it?

Hop to it...how ironic. "My name's Frogerio." Frog replied. What a coincidence that Lupin was carrying with him a tadpole. Almost too much of a coincidence. Either way, Frog led the way towards the pet shop, staying mostly silent unless Lupin decided to speak up.

Lupin walking about with Frogerio to the pet shop with a spring in his step, probably from his crippling bouncing addiction not sure how long it will take to reach the destination Lupin begins chatting with Frogerio to pass the time and hopefully get to know him better."So Frogerio what do you do in your spare time?" Said Lupin thinking this was a good question to ask. Lupin then blinks and then begins to talk about his covenant pogo stick.

"I often find myself exploring the city bouncing on my pogo stick, it is less weird then it sounds I promise." Lupin then continues hoping that Frogerio is still remotely interested.
"I am also looking for work at the moment if you know a good place for me to find a job." is this conversation going good? Lupin asked himself in his head and then going again trying to make this a normal conversation. Pretty sure it's too late to make normal but I will try Lupin thought to himself.
Lupin said in a tone that implies he is unsure how to ask the person.
"is there anything else you can tell me about tadpoles?" Lupin then awaits to hear a response from Frogerio.

Frog wasn't expecting Lupin to speak up. Ok well, he was probably naive to expect that, but damn straight was he going to hope for the best until proven otherwise time and time again. "Oh well, not much, I guess." He could think of a lot of stuff he did in his spare time: walking the dog, playing video games, browsing the internet, FREEING THE CITY OF ENDYMION OF THE SHACKLES PLACED UPON IT BY ITS DEMONIC GODDESS QUEEN ISLA. The usual stuff. But he didn't wanna speak of his private life with a stranger, so he opted for the generic response of 'nothing much'.

Thankfully, Lupin continued speaking, and what Frog was very good at was staying quiet and listening to people that could talk a lot. He kept looking at Lupin as the guy spoke, most likely giving off the impression that he was intently listening, interestedly, at that. "Pogo stick? That does sound slightly weird. Isn't it hard to bounce a lot? Certainly doesn't sound like an easy way to traverse the city." He asked in response. "Sadly, I don't know of any open work spaces. I'm not really working anywhere anyways, so I don't really know, sorry." He shrugged.

"Uhh, so tadpoles to frogs what caterpillars are to butterflies. They start off as these small black things with just one tail fin but later they grow legs and lose their fin as they slowly grow into an adult frog. Call it puberty if you will. Your tadpole is already pretty big and its legs have started growing, you can probably see them."

Lupin looked at Frogerio with fascination. He seemed like an interesting fellow he knows a lot of frogs and other animals. Lupin looked back into the boot to look at the tadpole again and then noticed something on what Lupin can only assume is the tadpole knee. Lupin noticed a yellow bump on the tadpole left knee and begins to ask Frogerio about.
"Hey Mr. Frogerio why is there a pimple on this tadpole knee? is that supposed to happen or what should we ignore the pet shop and go straight for the vet your the tadpole expert and all that."

Lupin has a face showing a growing look of concern as he presents the boot to Frogerio. To Lupin the tadpole looked fine apart from the fact there appears to be a pimple on its knee but he figured he should ask Frogerio.
"Should we be concerned for this tadpole or are we good to continue on forward. I don't want this poor little creature dying on me. Like that would be messed up right."

Lupin's own knee begins twitching he knows what this means he needs to bounce but the tadpole is the first priority, "How much longer till we're at the shop, will they be able to help. Because depending on how much longer I can probably get there quicker by bouncing."
Yeah, Lupin this doesn't sound stupid at all he thought to himself sarcastically.

"Maybe I am just panicking too much, sorry if I am."

"ERRRRRRRRRR pimple??" Frog had to look at the tadpole but he still had no idea what it was that Lupin was talking about. A pimple on a tadpole's knee? That sounded all kinds of wrong, but so did Lupin, honestly. The guy didn't seem to have any ill intentions but he was somewhat confused, that much was apparent to Frog already.
"Oh hey there's the pet shop, let's just see if they have any info on the...pimple." He couldn't say it, it was just so weird to say. He didn't know whether they'd be able to help so he wasn't gonna say anything about it.

Upon entering the shop and ushering Lupin in, Frog would greet the man at the counter. "Hi, my friend here's got a problem with an animal he'd found." He'd say, poking Lupin in the forearm. "Show the man the tadpole." He'd tell him.

"Ok" Lupin has placed the boot on the counter looking quite worried. I don't think this is supposed happen a pimple that big on a tadpole knee Lupin thought to himself. Lupin then brought himself to explain how he came across the tadpole.

"I found this tadpole in this boot in a nearby district and I have noticed this tadpole in a boot, so I have taken it to try and find a pond or a Vet or pet shop, I then encounter this kind gentleman next to me helped me find this place. But I noticed something strange with this tadpole if you look at what appears to be its knee it has a pimple on it. I am not an expert on animals but I am pretty sure that's not supposed to happen to tadpoles. Lupin showed the inside of the boot to the man at the counter and proceed to point to the pimple showing off the sickly yellow colour of the pimple it looks like its about to burst any minute. Lupin concerned face hasn't left him yet. He really hopes nothing is seriously wrong with this poor little tadpole.

"Sir we don't usually deal with tadpoles here... I'm honestly not sure what to do." The petshop man shrugged, making a 'sorry'-kind of grimace, while a swetdrop trickled down his face in response to Lupin's story.

"A... pimple... on a... tadpole..." Frog quickly tried to google it. He didn't get any results save for some page that specified frogs' medical problems. He quickly clicked on that and read that this might be an abscess or maybe like whatever..... a cyst? But for adult frogs, not tadpoles. "Uhh, Lupin, right?" He tugged at the pogo-stick man's shoulder, calling him to look at the page he had loaded on his phone. "Apparently it's a cyst or an infection, and it says we should visit an exotics vet, not a place like this. A pet shop, what were we thinking!?" He slapped himself on the forehead in frustration. "We're leaving now, let's find the nearest exotic vet..."

He stormed outside the pet shop with Lupin and quickly called a taxi. "The taxi should be arriving soon. They have such a veterinary station a bit downtown."

Lupin responded to the man "Thank you for your time." Lupin just turned around looking annoyed, why can't they get help for this little tadpole was it really that hard, then Frog spoke. Lupin was left wondering what the hell is a cyst. "Your talking to a guy who is usually bouncing on a pogo stick why I am expected to know what cyst is. Is some kind of skin property that frogs have?" Lupin looked confused beyond belief why was this happening now.

Lupin tried to get his act together, this whole situation has gone topsy-turvy, why does stupid shit like this keep happening. "That special vet is going to charge us extra. Great but I guess its worth it for this tadpole." Lupin looked into the boot, the tadpole looked scared shitless and rightfully so. "Can't say I was expecting this when I woke up this morning." Lupin seemed disoriented with the current turn of events.
