The guard was taken by unawares and was miraculously taken down with enough ease with the Jest's advantage at hand...

That one was too close for the strange mask's liking, but for now it was okay. Moving on.

Slowly, but surely, the Jest would finally chance upon what appeared to be a room. What they'd realize that they were inside what appeared to be a mix of an office and a small laboratory. It was furnished with what you'd see in an office with the desk and supplies, but on the other half were scientific equipment that were chilled as suggested by the slight change of temperature in the air. Alone inside appeared to be a woman in a lab coat. She's hunched over a computer on a desk, as if typing up some kind of report with a mug of warm coffee to the side and what appears to be a card key even further away. She doesn't appear to notice the intruder at the moment, as if she's forgotten everything around her existed at all...

It doesn't take long for the woman to sigh and close out of the browser and windows with a few clicks. She stretched her arms to leak out the ennui before beginning to leave the area. But as she did, only her mug came with her. The card was left behind as if forgotten. She would be leaving for a while. This was an opportunity to swipe the card for this moment. On it appeared, the lettering stated it belonged to a Sandra Wilk.

Item Gained:

The lady would leave and the mask would make its move. It would go up to the desk and take the card before leaving the room and making its way down a different path.

A brief pause and then moving again.

After picking through the lock, the Jest would notice they were in a similar kind of lab. But the equipment here appear to be unused for a while as if to collect some dust. Though compared to the last, there appeared to be more shelves full of files, possibly for later review or for record-keeping. It was entirely empty save for the intruder. But there was a working computer nearby with what appeared to be a card key slot.

The mask would look around a bit before approaching the computer and examining it. Hmmm...
