Tomomi found himself walking without even thinking about it at first. He had things on his mind as he went to his destination, and just walked while letting out silent but forced breaths. Relieving the tension that had been building up in his shoulders. Further proving how stressed he found himself, Tomomi was not wearing his jacket over his shoulder, but instead normally like one expects them to be worn.
Then his walk finished, and he found himself staring momentarily at the entrance of the church, gulping slightly. He'd only been here a few times, and all of them had been for work reasons. Memories of the two main times he could think of flashed through his mind. The most recent, where he had fled the church in a panic at some crazy person eating crisps from the floor. And the first, when he met a nun and accidentally made several mistakes that he went into a panic about as soon as he got home. To mention the Eternal Divide... To someone he had only just met no less. He brushed his fringe with his hand, gently nudging it out of the way as he sighed once more.
He didn't just come here to reminisce about his failings as a person though. For once, he had come to try understand faith. See, Tomomi wasn't a religious person. In truth, he didn't know what to believe, yet still here he was. For Tomomi, he wanted to have something to hold on to just a little bit. And he wanted to apologise for the two mistakes he had made at this place.
That thought in mind, he walked, gently pressing the doors open before looking around at the entrance. Right... Now he was inside but... He had no idea what to do, aside from move to make sure he wasn't in anyone's way.

It was surprisingly a small and dull moment of nothing for Maria. After so many days of mindless and grueling work, having nothing to do entirely refreshing in its own way. But try as she might, the Cadet felt awfully restless with nothing to do. There was training, sure, but she didn't exactly feel up to it and that was already the morning she spent. After all, she didn't want to argue with Father Jorge telling her to go live her life and not be an absolute gym rat. Chores were all finished thanks to the help of the other itinerant monks on the premises. It felt all dull... so, she took a walk.
Everywhere was empty, no thanks to everyone else doing their own thing whether it be praying or training underground. But someone did seem to enter. They certainly did seem a little familiar... at least that's what her gut was telling her.
"Why, hello there. I'm sorry it's a little empty right now. But can I help you, Sir?"

Standing there for a moment, Tomomi wasn't sure what to do. At least, until the sound of someone walking over caught his attention. As she spoke, and at the sight, Tomomi quickly recognised her. Of course, he couldn't forget - someone he'd said something very impolite and inappropriate to, and someone with blue hair while being a nun. Still, it was fairly obvious she didn't recognise him as she spoke and addressed him.
That was probably a given though. The church must be a fairly busy place after all, and Tomomi had not only been there the once, but had his face covered. So, he didn't take it personally, and smiled awkwardly at the question. "A-ah, hi again miss, um, Maria. Um... Y-yeah, um... I-if you don't mind me asking, how do you, well... Pray? I-I know that's a dumb question but, uh... Y-yeah..." the boy stammered, voice quiet and barely louder than a whisper.
