Dangerous limbs. (hero-kun)

Eryka was unhappy. Amazingly, for once in her recent life she was a lot more in touch with her emotions than she normally would be but for the entirely wrong reasons. Eryka had come to discover that her prosthetic, the thing she needed to be as efficient as a normal person could be, had been altered since awakening to her Persona. Sadly the alterations were by no means a positive thing in that they had resulted in Eryka's arm breaking things through even the lightest touch.

Eryka was sat at a desk scowling at her arm before her. It was, obviously, detached from her body and deactivated. It was a good thing she had turned it off for that was the only way to prevent it from breaking things. Such a shame that also rendered it totally useless. Eryka believed she may as well go back to just having one arm....fine. If that was the hand she was dealt she only had one choice open to her: making do without at least for the mean time. Eryka believed all things could be rectified in time but for now all she needed was a temporary solution.

The room was empty save for a sole cadet. Light filtering in through the windows caught specs of flying dust like tiny stars, dancing. Isaac hesitated outside the room. He was just passing by, but having seen her through the cracked door way, he stopped. His features were a little more serious as he considered the events from before. He knew now, after having been awakened, what it was that caused him to pass out. Her arm must be like his sword - a weapon that attacked the soul.

Calmly, with a more serious expression than he usually wore, Isaac knocked on the door and entered, stuffing his hands in his pockets. The sword strapped to his back dangled a little as he avoided the door with it's tip. "Hey there, sunshine." He spoke gently, a light joke to offset her apparent dour mood. He gestured to the empty desk next to her. "Is this seat taken?"

"Eryka. My name is Eryka." Nicknames were stupid and had little use. The only time one should ever refer to another as anything but their name was when it was required to keep your real identity secret which did not apply to this current situation. The amputee looked up at Isaac, a cold and disinterested expression plastered across her face. Of course it had to be the one person with a basis for an irrational bias. Typical.

"If nobody is sitting there it is free as far as I am concerned." The important distinction Eryka made there was not that the desk was free but instead, that she considered it free so long as it was unoccupied. If it did in fact belong to someone else and Issac ended up taking their seat...well, she wasn't going to get involved. It would not be her fight.

Isaac sat down in the chair with a wry smile on his face, studying the scene. Her arm was detached, turned off, laying on the desk in front of her. The whole thing looked decidedly repentant. He could comment about her lack of humor regarding his greeting, but he decided to abstain from that for the time being, instead leaning on his forearms on the desk in front of him.

"I know what that is now. Why it knocked me out when I touched it. It's become a weapon like Grigori here. One that attacks the soul. Dangerous stuff they saddle us kids with eh?" He chuckled lightheartedly, looking at her with a wry expression. When he'd first found out what it was and why it'd knocked him out, he'd been upset and worried that she was wantonly using a weapon like that. But she was a recent cadet, like himself, and from the look of this moment, she was just as frustrated with it as he was.

"The only child here is you. Your weapon is over-sized and impractical. Your choice to bring it with you endangers others pointlessly." Eryka's eyes twisted into a disapproving scowl that bored holes through Isaac's skull. She know knew exactly what her arm was, what its capabilities were and how to use it responsibly. Isaac bringing his over-sized and impractical sword with him to lessons was...stupid. It wasn't like Eryka's arm in that she actually needed it on account of being you know, an amputee.

Isaac's eyebrows raised, but he gave no other indication of being offended at her statement. A faint smile appeared, slowly, and he responded, pointing a finger in jest. "Well, if my count is accurate, You've got exactly one KO over me." He gave a small chuckle, unphased by her furious glare. "As for Grigori here, Well. He's a bit different. I don't have a Persona like a lot of you. All I have is this guy, and since he doesn't manifest the same way, he only really cuts through things when I swing him. Otherwise he's just a big hunk of metal...I guess. Albrecht or Maria could probably explain it better. They're like me, as far as I can tell." He scratched the nape of his neck with an apologetic look.
