I'm Too OOC To Have A Proper Title (Toryuki VS Yuri)

The stage loaded in. Wide plains, the stage of Avalon Field. And forming in, a large humanoid lizard alien in a cloak arrived, looking around the location with a curious gaze, taking in the scenery. Here, was Toryuki, sniper rifle in hand.

Then, before she could properly investigate anything, a loud voice buzzed within the Dystoran warriors ears, Toryuki clutching at her head as the words boomed inside of her.

"THIS IS A META BATTLE FOOLISH MORTAL. ENTERTAIN US OF THE OLD GODS, THE ONES WHOM THUS CONTROL YOU, BY VIRTUE OF COMBAT. BEHOLD AS YOUR POTENTIAL WILL BE TEMPORARILY UNLEASHED IN THE SEXIEST NUMBER, AND FIGHT TO YOUR LAST BREATH AGAINST THE ONE WHO WILL APPEAR BEFORE YOU. KNOW THAT YOU WILL CEASE TO EXIST REGARDLESS OF THE OUTCOME FROM THIS REALM."

The words were bizarre, and filled the Dystoran's head with borderline bloodlust and confusion, Toryuki now looking around for the source of the noise as her persona appeared behind her.

"Ahahahaha..." The stage is set. The armoured knight found himself in front of a mighty opponent, one he was for some reason exactly equal in both physical and mental strength to. Nonetheless, for reasons unknown and unimportant to him, a fight must take place. The ground is elevated in several areas. He believed both him and his opponent would wish to start off in the flat grassy area. So he stood there, and waited for their first move. "Very well. Show me your might!"

"Words akin to a warrior..." Toryuki muttered, staring at the small framed humanoid in front of her. Small but covered in armour. Standing roughly 10 meters away from her opponent, Toryuki allowed the red mist of Nyarlathotep's summons to surround her, the figure of Nightingale rising from behind her. Then, as its lantern blared to life, Toryuki shouted out, a black fog racing towards Yuri from the brightly glowing light, as the Dystoran then began to run towards Yuri. "But words are hollow! Let us dance this deadly duet!"

"Kuu..." 'What a bizarre enemy. Nonetheless, it's of upmost importance I stay collected.' He stood still, gathering his might. 'To focus everything on a sure to win strike, yes, that's what I'll do as always.'

The fact that her opponent stood still was bizarre to say the least. Now within range, Toryuki summoned part of her soulbound, rushing into her stationery target using her height to propel herself into a strike as two greatswords formed, one in each hand, to slash into the strangers body, before jumping back with two daggers and attempting to strike a second time, intent on dealing as much damage as quickly as possible while her opponent was still remaining still.

She was coming. That was unfortunate, probably, or maybe not. He let both his adversary's attacks hit him. Attempting to dodge would have been a waste of effort. What would be the best move right now? He considered a few options, but decided he should continue to focus on gathering his might. "Hmph!"

Still the stranger stood there. Just taking the blows and focusing on themselves. Were they foolish enough to allow Toryuki to deal as many attacks as she wished?

No, thinking through as a tactical point, they must have had a purpose. Perhaps they desired to finish this with a single blow, and were confident in their ability to take the hits? The only way to test this was to prove them wrong. Keeping behind the enemy that had opted to not move at all and allowed her to stay behind him, Toryuki summoned her shadowy persona once more in a deep crimson mist. Raising the lantern once more, a bright light enveloped right behind Yuri, attempting to burn into him at point blank range.

He cursed, being already wounded this early on, as it left him without time to fully charge his attack. Perhaps this was already good enough? Yes. His movements still felt slow from her debilitating curse, however. Could he even land the hit? He closed his eyes, waiting for something to happen, when he felt a radiant heat penetrate his back. The pain was great, but he only turned to dive into the blinding light head-on. The attack came from right behind him, so it must have been the direction of his enemy. "That's it! I'm ending this now! Persona!" Rogziel burst forward from Yuri, launching a spear aimed towards Toryuki, attempting to strike through her body.

As the enemy turned suddenly and summoned a persona, Toryuki felt the bloodlust so close for but a moment before the spear pierced her body not a moment later with the shout that the stranger was ending the fight. In an instant, the spear had gone through Toryuki, piercing entirely through her cloak and the soft scales of her chest as it came out the other side, a mint green sputter of blood coughed up from Toryuki's lips. Standing there for a moment with the coppery blood leaking onto the ground below, Toryuki slowly began to collapse down backwards, hitting the soft grass with a thud.

But then with a violent lurch in red mist, she stood up again. The red mist quickly enveloped her body, the image of her persona suddenly merging with her own visage as the form of a plague doctors mask covered her face, before splitting in two like a ravenous beak. Countless numbers of swords appeared behind the warrior, shifting to take the form of distorted wings behind her as the Dystoran began to float above the ground. A single clawed hand reached forward, a tremendously bright and burning light erupting forth and mingling with the ominous red mist, reminiscent of death itself, erupting like one could imagine a super nova from a single point to a large explosion that burst forward into the enemy that was still point blank. A single word, echoing in a reverberated boom, could be heard from beneath the burning light.

What Happened:

He was so certain of his victory, making all the more alarming when the enemy stood back up. He watched as she cast once more a magical explosion unto him. He tried not showing any signs of pain earlier. but the enemy must still have noticed how effective it was. He attempted to protect his body with his arms, yet it was of no point. The scorching light dug into his body and soul. Despite however much willpower someone has, every body has a limit, and his was far past that point. He couldn't feel anything, so he just began screaming "Wrryyyyy!!" until he was no more.

RESULT: Yuri is gone he no longer exists in this world
