Appearance:
Standing roughly at 1,5m with 47kg, Kaihei is quite a bit on the short side, mainly when compared to the rest of the male population. But that doesn't make him any less intimidating. As he goes to the gym once in a while to keep in shape, he is slightly muscular to make up for his poor height. His voice is quite deep and tends to sound bored and disinterested. In fact many people mistake him to be older than he is if they hear his voice without seeing him because of it's unusual deepness for his age.

That aside, as he's not into the fancy haircut style, his hair is kept short and spikes a bit with a few bangs falling into his face and often getting into his eyes. It's midnight black but he dyed the bangs that fall into his face light blue.His eyes are almond shaped and naturally aqua blue. His right eye is blood red though due to some problems during an eye surgery he had a few years ago. It could have been restored back but he decided to keep it that way as it doesn't cause any health problems and looks cool in his opinion.

His clothing style is kind of onesided. He's not the one for variety so when you look into his closet you might think that he wears the same things all the time. The most notable thing is that most of his clothes are black. On a normal day he would most likely wear black baggy pants and a black sleevless t-shirt with a collar. When its colder he'll add a black button-up jacket with white artifical fur trimming and possibly a pair of fingerless gloves.He's not a fan of shorts so you'll never see him wearing those unless he has to wear swimming trunks in summer. Unusually so, he always wears high boots which reach up to his knees (the height usually not seen as they're under his pants) whether it is winter or summer.He might also wear a few different colors like red,white or blue but he almost never changes the type of his outfits.Sometimes he wears two silver clips on the dyed part of his hair but he tends to forget to put them on.

As for other accessories, you won't see him having anything out of ordinary.He has a smartphone just because almost everyone does but doesn't use it much. Otherwise it's just the usuall. His keys, a wallet and that's it. No use in stuffing pockets up, right?

Personality:
Kaihei isn't known to be a very talkative person, mainly when it comes to people he doesn't know. At a first glance he usually appears to be the rough kind of a guy. Many people would put him into the thug or the bully category when they see him for the first time which makes him kind of a loner as not many approach him.

Truth is he can be a bit scary with his mostly irritated mood but he does not intend to scare or push people away. It's just the way he is.But he does make it worse by not really trying to get to know others if they do not make the first move. He's the type that expects the others to start moving their lazy butts first and the fact that he's not comfortable around large groups of people and will rather drown in his solitude than go socialize does not help.He would want a friend but he's having hard times with getting any due to his adittude and fear of large crowds.

He's quite confident in himself and what he says and definetly doesn't mind saying exactly what he thinks about others even if it might hurt to hear the truth. He thinks that dressing up the facts only makes it worse. Being sarcastic is also one of the things that often make his words stab deep.

He definitely does not take kindly to being bossed around. He would prefer if everything was his way no matter what. But he's not that stupid and will relent if you make vaid points.He's strong willed, not easy to intimidate and does not back down from a fight unless absolutely necessary.

The Background

History:
Kaihei lived a fairly happy life with his family. His parents cared for him well and there was rarely anything he could complain about. He and his 2 years younger brother Toru got along nicely too.However this lasted only through his childhood.

Things began to change as he grew up. First troubles came when he started to go to school.The other kids always picked on him because he was the shortest out his class and rarely wanted to play the things they did. It only worsened when his right eye color changed due to the operation. In addition to all the picking the kids now thought he was a freak too. Having to face this began to change Kaihei. He became more distant and rarely talked to others anymore.

One of the biggest problems was that even though his parents noticed what's going on they didn't do anything as they didn't know how to handle it. Rather than at least trying to help they chose to pretend everything is okay which upset Kaihei.

After a while he realized he's on his own in this and came to the conclusion that the only way is to become stronger and deal with the bullies by himself as not even the teachers in his school cared. That's when he began going to the gym and work out. He managed to get stronger and stuff and dealt with the bullies but he paid a price for that. Since then others of his age were afraid of him as he became closed off and not trusting, sending glares in everyone's way. The only person he was fine with at this point was his brother.

Eventually he had enough of this annoying life and persuaded his parents to let him go study somewhere else on his own. They accepted quickly as they were aware that their son has changed too much and they didn't know what to do with that. Hoping that this is for the better they enrolled him in the Tsubasa Academy.

Kaihei went there hoping this life would be better than the past and if not, he just needed to stay strong and not give up. There was nothing else that he could do anymore...
