Break Stuff (Patty & Tammy) Dumps

Sooooo it was kinda drizzlin' out. That was okay, Patty didn't care, she had her hoodie with her. Not the same one as that one night, she made sure that one got thrown away. She'd freakin' burn it if she could do it discreetly but that really wasn't an option so she bleached the hell out of it and tossed it in a bag with some other shit. People would think she got bleach on her stuff and threw it out. If anyone cared to look anyway, not that they would. But she couldn't help being paranoid after what happened the other night, she had to tread that fine line between escaping what happened and doing something about it. The thug girl found herself becoming more caught in the immediate moment and not in her usual way. Ears open, looking around to people whenever she saw them... keeping her head on a swivel just like back home in Monterey, where if you didn't do that you could get jumped. That was probably why she was here.

The Sunlake Palms Junkyard. Patty found it the other day and wanted to come back to chill. She had good memories about making junk forts and stuff. She didn't think there were junkyard dogs, the place looked pretty empty and she passed it twice before. Never any functional cars around that people could drive. Safe to say no one was here which was good. She could bullshit her way out of anything but it was still a hassle and she didn't wanna deal with it. Patty had bigger stuff to deal with right now. The sign out front said NO TRESPASSING in giant letters but what the fuck ever, it was a sign, not a cop. What was it gonna do, report her? Besides, trespassing was a pretty innocent and victimless crime, she could get away with it. And get away with what happened next.

Patricia jumped the sagging chainlink fence once she made sure no one was around and made her way through the light drizzle deeper into the junkyard. Stacks and stacks of ruined cars, discarded refrigerators, chewed up sofas, old tires, heaps of computers, you name it. Patty was looking for something she could swing though. Old golf clubs or a road sign, fuck it, she could even swing a muffler if she wanted. Patty just had to be able to break shit with it. She had a lot of stuff to work through, breaking shit always helped.

PostSubject: Re: Break Stuff (Patty & Tammy)   Break Stuff (Patty & Tammy) EmptyMon Oct 29, 2018 1:30 am

Stupid Isaac. Being busy with Cadet things and never coming by the orphanage anymore. It wasn't stupid, she knew, but it frustrated her. Especially since he'd promised to properly train her with a sword now. The wooden sword was strapped to her back just like the one Isaac carried - although hers was appropriately sized. She looked at the fake weapon forlornly now, frowning faintly.

The sky was drip dropping specks of water onto the hood of the car she was sitting on, and she leaned back against the windshield, letting raindrops fall on her face. She came here sometimes when she wanted to feel really alone. It was one of those places she knew - places where nobody who actually mattered to the world went. Places she could disappear to. Only this one, not even Isaac knew about. Not as far as she knew, anyway. The sound of the chain rattling alerted her that someone or something was near. She rolled off the hood of the car and crouched, peaking around the headlight. It was a woman in a hoodie, stalking - yeah that was the word - stalking through the yard. What was she doing here? Was she invading this place too, or maybe she was the owners daughter or something, come to check up on it?

Tamsin didn't know, but she had best high tail it out of there before it got her into trouble. Tamsin was good at sneaking around, but not with a piece of wood strapped to her back. As she moved away from the car, the tip of the sword knocked loudly against an old gutted washing machine. The sudden hollow sound sent a shiver up Tamsin's spine, and to her eternal shame, she let out a small yelp in surprise.

Break Stuff (Patty & Tammy) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Break Stuff (Patty & Tammy)   Break Stuff (Patty & Tammy) EmptyMon Oct 29, 2018 2:37 am

The lanky girl looked around for stuff she could use to smash some shit but she wasn't finding anything good. There was a piece of rebar but she really didn't wanna swing that one, it was heavy and she wouldn't be able to hit hard with it. Instead she started to look for junk to throw instead. Stuff like lugnuts or loose bolts. Blinker lights too, they had quartz in them. Cool thing, if you chucked the quartz of a blinker light at a car windshield it'll just shatter. She had to do that a couple times, it was a pretty useful thing to know. Also really neat when it happened. She found a couple of them to send through some vacant car windows which she stuffed in her pockets, keeping one out to toss the weighty projectile up and down in her hand.

Her sneakers crunched through the gravel and bits of broken glass in the wet mud as she eyed around the junkyard. Still wanted to find something to swing. Everything was better when you can smash it with your hands, y'know? But she'd find it if she kept looking. Patricia wandered through the yard just eyeing the place, looking for good shit to break, good shit to break stuff with when she caught a loud bang. Her eyes snapped reflexively and she gripped the bolt in her hand, ready to chuck it at a junkyard dog or tweaker or whatever the hell else when she decided to place it in her pocket. If this was another human being she didn't wanna look shadier than she already was. It was gonna be freakin' difficult to talk her way out if she punked someone in the head with a piece of metal. She heard a cry after that echo through the junkyard. So it was someone. Or something. Christ don't let it be a dog, she didn't feel like running her ass off.
"Yo! ...someone there?" she called out, tentatively stepping closer past ruined cars to where the noise came from. Yeah, stupid question. Someone was obviously there. But if she heard barking she was pulling the bolt back out of her pocket to bean it in the fucking head.

PostSubject: Re: Break Stuff (Patty & Tammy)   Break Stuff (Patty & Tammy) EmptyMon Oct 29, 2018 2:54 am

Tamsin Sucked in a breath. Now she'd done it. The sisters wouldn't be happy if this person reported her for trespassing. She was supposed to be the good older sister. Ugh...how was she gonna get out of this? Sighing, the young girl stood up slowly, hands up like she was used to being caught by authority figures. The look on her face was embarrassed, guarded, and rather serious.

She looked at the other lanky, taller girl for a moment before she asked. "You're not...employed here or anything, are you?" Her voice gave away the reality of her youth, and her eyes were tense like a cornered cat looking for a way out. It was a look anyone who spent any time on the street would recognize.

Hopefully, the wooden sword strapped to her back wasn't too suspicious. What was she thinking? Of course it ws suspicious.

Break Stuff (Patty & Tammy) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Break Stuff (Patty & Tammy)   Break Stuff (Patty & Tammy) EmptyMon Oct 29, 2018 4:01 pm

So like, this little girl stepped out with her arms raised like she was
surrendering. That was... actually nah, that wasn't too weird. Kids playing
in the junkyard, pretty normal childhood to her. She even had a toy sword
with her, the weird thing was she didn't have any friends with her. That she
noticed. But Patty never did it in the rain. Except this time. This time
doesn't count though, this time is percussive therapy. The way she
looked around reminded her of herself when she was younger, those sweeping
eyes, like when she was a little hoodlum. Patty didn't know what she was
scared of though. It's not like-

Oh. Right. She was technically an adult. Fuck that was strange to think
about, y'know?

But she wasn't gonna do anything to fuck with her or scare her off, she
could stay and play in the junkyard. Being super friendly would look sus as
hell too, so Patty decided to respond pretty neutrally.
"...are ya freakin' kiddin' me?" she asked pretty
bluntly with a hand on her hip, "Dude, do I look like
someone who works here? Like who would even come out here in the
rain?"
Besides the both of them. Patty normally wouldn't either but
she had some major steam to blow off, and she definitely looked a bit
too punk to be anyone official. She started moving again, keeping a lazy
gait and loose posture, seemingly disinterested in the girl to avoid
freaking her out. She stepped on a ruined car hood with her spindly legs,
peering down across the junkyard while she held the conversation. More
focused on the conversation than actually finding anything.
"Like, chill, I'm not supposed to be here either. I'm just
lookin' for stuff."

"We did." Tamsin responded to the question about who would come here in the rain, and lowered her hands. On second thought, that was probably meant as a rhetorical question. She wondered if this older girl was someone like her. She didnt recognize her, but there were probably other orphanages...and not everyone who roamed the streets was an orphan either.

She didn't really look like someone who would work there, that was true. But who else would be here? Except Tamsin, of course. What was with all of her quiet places being less quiet lately?

This woman was trespassing too, it seemed. And she was looking for something. Stealing? Well...it wouldn't be the first time Tamsin had found something here that the orphanage needed and hadn't said where she'd gotten it. Regardless, she was here now, and she might as well help. She knew the place well enough. "What are you looking for?" she asked finally, stepping up onto the hood of the car as well with her soft steps.

The reply would go without response, Patty didn't even think to answer it. Or she wasn't paying enough attention, probably that. But she calmed down and even approached her kinda like Patty wanted her to by acting cool and casual like she did. So like... there was this kid out in the junkyard, all by herself with a toy sword, no friends, in the rain. That kinda wasn't normal, so she got an idea. Patricia's feet slicked across the hood of the car from the wet of the drizzle as she let out a small gasp and threw her arms out, but it was a mere slip. She chuckled under her breath and gave the kid a reassuring grin like "holy fuck, I almost ate it right?" before getting her footing and bouncing from the top to the trunk in a step each.
"Nothin'," she spoke demurely, "'Cause I found it."

Patty jumped off the trunk of the car with a small splash, disappearing for just a second before she came up with the perfect score. She stood triumphant spinning a thin piece of pipe between her thumb and forefinger, grinning like a maniac. NOW she could get started. But more importantly the girl could come too if she wanted. She'd be a lot happier if she could smash cars with somebody else and talk shit and have a good time than to get pissed off and do the same, even if that's what she came for. And the little kid looked kinda down anyway.
"Yo, sooooo I'm bored. I came to smash some stuff up 'cause I feel like breakin' shit. Wanna come?" the lanky thug asked in a surprisingly friendly tone for the situation, the people, and the weather. But she truly didn't give a shit. There was a lot she needed to let out and Patty had to move her body to do that. Destroying things just made it more fun.

Tamsin stepped out of the way, a slight inquisitive look on her face as the older girl jumped up and over the cabin of the car in two long strides, then hopped down to acquire something. A pipe. Tamsin's mouth opened slightly in realization. Aaah Vandalism.

Though, it wasn't as if this junk lot was really being used for much. When she invited Tamsin along, the blond girl thought about it for a moment. It wasn't like she didn't have a little bit of frustration to get out of her system. Finally she nodded, hopping down off the car into the wet dirt with a squishing sound. "Sure." She replied, looking around for a weapon of her own. The wooden sword wouldn't hold up against the kind of things they'd be attacking here.

She examined the trunk of the car they'd jumped off of. The lock was missing. She lifted the trunk and rummaged around inside. Mostly guts from the inside of the car, refuse, disconnected speaker units with holes in them and...Tamsin pulled out a half-rusted tire iron, with a small self-satisfied grin. It was small in comparison to the other girl's pipe, but it'd do.

Break Stuff (Patty & Tammy) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Break Stuff (Patty & Tammy)   Break Stuff (Patty & Tammy) EmptyTue Oct 30, 2018 12:56 am

Patty have expected her not to do it. Like, going off with someone you didn't know breaking shit? That was asking for something to go wrong. Then again she was the cool older chick so it made sense to her, she didn't question it too much. Didn't matter anyway, wasn't gonna change her plans either way. This would just be more fun with more people. Patricia watched the kid go right for the trunk. The lock wasn't on it. Patty thought it had some bounce when she jumped off it but she wasn't thinking like that.
"Shit, good eye," she complimented. The tall girl peered over the shoulder of the other one to see what she would find. A lotta loose shit, spare parts, but a tire iron was in there. Made sense to find a tire iron in a car. Patty tried looking for any lying around before but figured they'd be too valuable to toss out.
"Ni-i-i-i-ice..." she nodded with an ecstatic expression, returning the kid's own cocky look. Seems like she was in it for the long haul.

Patricia leaned up against the beat-up sedan they'd just climbed all over and spotted what looked like a newer Buick. Well... newer by junkyard standards. All the windows were intact and it still had 95% of it's paint. Not for freakin' long though.
"Mmmm... I wanna hit that one," she called out, twirling her pipe enough to point with it before returning it to spin between her fingers. She swaggered up to the car, pipe still spinning before getting a firm grip on it and tacking a hop-step forward. Gripping it with two hands and with an expression of uncharacteristic anger she swung it swiftly downward over the passenger side, denting the roof of the car and shattering the whole window in one go. Just had to know where to hit it.

"RrrRRREEAGH!!"
CRRR-R-R-RSHHH!!

As soon as it broke she swung her feet to turn around, just to strut a bit and survey the damage, laughing to herself.
"Hahaheeheeheeheehaaaa Get fucked." With a bit more of a grin she'd toss the pipe around her back with a flip, catch it with the other hand, and make a cross-body swing toward the headlight on her side for it to shatter too in a loud POP. She stuck her tongue out through her teeth as she started to get into it but this was a group activity.
"I'm Patty. What's your name?" she asked innocently enough considering they were trespassing and smashing up old cars together because Patty thought it would be a good idea.
"Yo, betcha can't take out the windshield in one swing!" But still fun to be doing with someone, even if it was some random kid. The challenge was set, Patty'd see what she could do. ...she didn't think she could do it, windshields were freakin' tough even for people like her and they liked to crumple. If you got'em on the frame just right you could pop'em right off though.

Break Stuff (Patty & Tammy) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Break Stuff (Patty & Tammy)   Break Stuff (Patty & Tammy) EmptyTue Oct 30, 2018 1:26 am

Tamsin watched as Patty went postal on the car, shattering it's windows and headlight. It did look like fun, actually, the more she watched. She stepped forward, about ready to try her own hand, when Patty asked her name. "Tamsin." She replied with a slight softening of her features.

Once the challenge was issued, Tamsin raised an eyebrow. Windshields were notoriously tough to break, especially with brute force. But, Tamsin wasn't about to back down from a challenge. Her eyebrows knitted together in solemn acceptance of the challenge. "You're on." She replied, taking a few paces away from the front of the car so that she was 5-6 yards in front of the car. Momentum was the only way her tiny body could hope to break the windshield. Sticking her wooden sword in the ground out of the way she called, "Stand back!"

She charged forward, building momentum, and jumped up, throwing the tire-iron in a downward arch toward the windshield. The impact was loud, and the glass splintered and cracked, recoiling from the strike. The tire iron bounced off the glass, carried by the momentum, and landed in the mud near the front of the car. Tamsin slid in the mud when she came down from her jump, splattering mud on her pants. No dice.

Despite her failure, Tamsin laughed. It had been... well, a long time since the last time the most-ly serious girl laughed, but she had to laugh at the futility of this attempt of hers. Shaking her head she looked up at the other girl. "It was worth a try." She admitted, resting her forearms on her knees and taking a breath.

Break Stuff (Patty & Tammy) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Break Stuff (Patty & Tammy)   Break Stuff (Patty & Tammy) EmptyWed Oct 31, 2018 9:41 pm

"IIIII'm gonna call yooooouuuu... Tammy,"
Patty chirped, keeping up a high energy despite the rain. Tamsin was a weird
name, she liked Tammy better. It was easier to say and she'd remember it
better. The older girl took to idly twirling her pipe between her fingers
like she often did.
"Haha okay Tammy, show me what you're made of!" This
oughtta be rich. Patricia didn't think Tammy could break the windshield. She
didn't think she could do it and she could bring a lot more striking
power to her swing, but she'd like to see her try. That was the point of
being here right now, to do stupid shit for funzies. Actually to take out
some of her anger at the world on inanaimate objects in a place no one would
tag her in or care to check but she got easily distracted and it got more
fun to do it this way with the kid involved.

Patricia planted her pipe in the ground much like Tammy did her wooden
sword, kicking one leg over the other with a demure grin as she leaned on it
with one arm to watch the show. Dude, like, she was gonna rush it. This was
gonna be awesome. The delinquent chick watched with a growing grin as
the kid sprinted to the windshield, jumped up... bounced off it and ate
shit. Like holy fuck, dude! Man she was expecting her to try but she
really got into it, huh? Patricia broke into laughter as she watched her
slip in the mud and the tire iron went flying through the air.
"Aaaaaahahahahaaaaa holy shit dude, you got some
hangtime!"
The lanky chick nearly skipped over to Tammy as she
caught her breath, smiling just like she was. Hey, it was pretty hilarious
and they were having fun. She picked up the tire iron on her way over and
held it down for her to grab so she could help her to her feet with it.
"Hey, you did some real damage though!" she
encouraged, "One or two more like that and you'd cave it I
bet! Hey! Hey, this is cool, I'm gonna teach ya somethin'!"

Patty would do what she did to help the girl up before reaching in through
the broken window to unlock the door, crawl across the seats and pop the
hood. She slid out and started to rummage through the guts of the car,
looking for something.
"So why ya out here in the rain, Tammy?" she asked as
she looked, eyes lighting up as she found what she was searching for.
Patricia ripped a small little piece out and tossed it on the ground to step
on it with a crunch. She knelt down to look through the broken object before
coming up with a small white shard that she held up to show off.
"Spark plug! So like, if you take the ceramic out of a spark
plug you can use it to break car windows super easy. Yo, watch
this."
Patricia took a few steps back from the car and faced an
unbroken window. She tossed the small rock in the air once before whipping
it at the car with a wild side-arm throw. Just like she said, the tiny piece
of ceramic smaller than her thumbnail hit the center of the window and the
whole thing instantly shattered and broke apart with another
POP and the tinkling of glass.
"Yooooo! Yo, let's find another car so you can try!
You can really only do that once."

Break Stuff (Patty & Tammy) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Break Stuff (Patty & Tammy)   Break Stuff (Patty & Tammy) EmptyFri Nov 02, 2018 1:37 am

When Patty laughed with her , Tamsin couldn't help but laugh too. It felt good to laugh for no reason. Tamsin never really gave herself the ability to do that. Tamsin accepted the Tire Iron back, and allowed herself to be lifted to her feet.

Tammy...no one had called her that before, surprisingly. She didn't mind it, really. At least it wasn't Tam-tam. ugh. Tamsin walked over, curious, and peaked around Patty as she rummaged about in the car. "No place better to be, I guess." She shrugged, more interested in the object of Patty's searching.

When Patty produced the spark plug, and crushed it, Tamsin watched with amazement as it shattered the window completely. She couldn't help but gasp a little bit. "But how...?" She asked, eyes narrowing. "Yeah. I want to try." She added, looking around with the dedicated diligence of a blood hound.

Squinting, Tamsin stalked toward a nearby mount of junk, deftly climbing up the side of it. It seemed like she could tell by looking which bits of junk were more secure - like she'd done this before. "Found one!" She announced, hopping down the other side. There was an old sedan sticking a little over half way out of the junk pile. Tamsin, on her decent down the mount, landed on the roof of the sedan, and in one down ward swing took out the driver side window. This breaking things business was more fun every time she swung this thing.

Break Stuff (Patty & Tammy) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Break Stuff (Patty & Tammy)   Break Stuff (Patty & Tammy) EmptySat Nov 03, 2018 6:43 pm

No place better to be. Sounded pretty familiar, kinda kinda not. Patty wandered around a lot like she didn't have anywhere better to be but she belonged where she was, it was up to wherever she wanted to go. She had plenty of places she could go, it was all up to her so she went where she felt like. Like a junkyard in the rain to wreck cars because she was pissed off. After shattering the window Tammy was dumbstruck but Patricia was ecstatic about it, cackling in glee.
"Aaaaaaaaahahahahahaaaiiiieeee! I dunno!" she crooned, "All I know is it just works on safety glass like car windows, it won't work on a normal window. Something about the size or something? No idea but it freakin' works! Ahaheh." There was... a reason why it worked. But Patty didn't know that reason, all she had to know as spark plug ceramic broke car windows. It was useful to know if you *really* had to get in your car. Or someone else's car. And maybe they had some stuff in there, like whatever yo.

"Yo I wanna see!" she called after, following her up the junk pile. It wasn't as easy for Patty, she weighed more and was a lot more reckless with it. She slipped once. But she made it up and down to the car that Tammy was having fun busting into junk. That gave Patty an idea.
"Yeah but how are ya gonna get to the spark plug if the hood's stickin' out!?" she shouted before dropping down as well. The sedan rattled when she did. And she gingerly placed her foot on the hood for the car to sag in the junk heap, giving Tammy a wicked grin. With enough weight on it the car would just fall out of the pile and smash on the ground bumper-first.

Tamsin returned Patty's wicked grin with a small grin of her own. It felt good to let loose every once in a while. With a nod, Tamsin pushed off against the junk pile, and the car dislodged itself and rolled bumper first down the rest of the pile, exposing the hood. Tamsin rode the hood of the vehicle to it's inevitable stop, balancing with her arms out. Thankfully, Balance was something she had, in lieu of physical strength.

When the car came to a halt, banging bumper-first against a door-less refrigerator that was laying on its back, Tamsin leaped off the hood and stuck her put a hand in through the open window to unlock the door. Peering inside, she realized she didn't really know what she was looking for. She'd never done any maintenance on a car, or really been inside them very much in the last few years. Where were spark plugs even at?

"Uh...where are they?" She asked Patty curiously, peeking her head back out through the window.

"WHOOWHOOOOOO!" the lanky girl squealed as she rode down the car like she was surfing. She had to jump off right at the end or she'd eat shit but that was okay. She didn't wanna get, like, glass in her lip or anything. She stumbled and almost slipped but got on her feet. Stupid rain. Whatever, she didn't give a fuck. Patty twirled the pipe in one hand as she strutted back around to the car. Tammy went inside it to get the hood release and she took that time to light a cigarette. But she didn't go inside to get the hood release. Patty raised an eyebrow. That was pretty weird. Even when she was a kid she knew where the spark plugs kinda were in a car. Maybe she was just bad with cars? The tall chick shook her head.
"Nah, so like everything that makes the car go is under the hood. Spark plugs start the car, so they're under the hood too. So like in all the cars there's like this latch or a button, right? It's got a picture on it of a car with the hood up, that's the hood release. You can pull that so we can get in."

Patty looked at the hood of the car, then at the pipe in her hand. Then she smiled.
"Or I can just do THIS!" She jammed the pipe into the grill with a loud CHNNK and rose her foot high to stomp on the pipe. It took a couple tries but she broke the hood latch. Also bent her pipe. Oh well, not like it needed to be straight anyway. Patty waited for Tammy to come around so she could show her before digging in the car herself.
"See? So like you see that big freakin' thing right there, the big metal thing? That's the engine, and those wires runnin' off it go to the spark plugs 'cause your spark plugs make a *spark* and it lights the gas in the car and makes the engine start going. Cars pretty much run on explosions, cool right? Ahah, cars are awesome! Go on! Take out one of the spark plugs so we can do the thing!" Patty really liked cars. They had like this POWER to them and they went super fast. She didn't get a lot of time joyriding them back in Monterey but it was always good when she did. Almost always. The good outweighed the bad, anyway.
