Took a Wrong Turn (Tomomi/Isabella)

As she declared that Tomomi could turn back, the boy figured that was a hint that she didn't want him to go along. At least, originally he did. Then she stopped, and held out her umbrella for him, suggesting he take it. "A-ah, I uh, I couldn't take that. T-thank you for the offer though! I mean, I couldn't use it owing to the need to have my hands free for the job, so, it'd get damaged or destroyed, which would, um, be a waste... B-but I'll let you know my name anyways, as like, um, a return favour? I-I'm Tomomi. Tomomi Jōmyaku, and uh, nice to meet you miss! I uh, wouldn't say I know if it's dangerous or not, I just, well, wanted to make sure you knew it might not be safe! For all I know, it could be safe! B-but yeah, I should probably be getting back to work..."

Rubbing his hand at the back of his neck, the boy pulled down his mask to offer a smile, face covered in his hair in a way that only just allowed his hair to be seen. "It's been nice to meet you miss, and if you ever see me around and need help with anything, just say so and I'll be, um, happy to help." The boy declared, waving, before pulling the mask back up, and walking off.

"I suppose you've a point there." Isabella said, pulling the offering hand away. But to let her know his name as a return favor? A return favor for what? What a curious young man. Tomomi Jōmyaku was the name he gave, sound... distinctly japanese. "And it has been nice to meet you as well, Tomomi." She continued, smiling slightly, looking at the youth before her. Something about him got her thinking.

"I'd cetainly hope I'll get a chance to meet such a well behaved young man again. Hopefully our next meeting will be under better weather though." The blonde spoke in reply, standing there looking as the other turned to walk away.

The smile on her face seemed to fade slightly as her mind swam, dredging up old memories, old... opportunities, lost to time. "Had we settled down back then, our child would probably have been about his age." Her eyes turned up to stare at the grey sky, before closing. A shake of her head pushed away those thought, they weren't worth dwelling on.

Isabella turned where she stood, toward where the boy had pointed her. But before she stepped forward, she hesitated. What if it really was dangerous, like the boy had said? The studio was closed off, most certainly for some good purpose. Was the potential risk actually worth it, just to spite her editor? After standing there, nearly five minutes with hardly any motion, the woman tossed aside her umbrella, and turned back to walk the way she came. She couldn't risk it. Not yet.
