| Rui was in a church. A local church, which apparently was not an uncommon meetup place for various Cadets. Not that he knew anything about it. He made sure to kept his identity as a Cadet under wraps for intelligence gathering purposes, which had the undesirable side-effect of him not doing a lot of Cadet hangouts.
Luckily, nothing was on fire and nothing lewd was being done by Rui. In fact, he was being uncharacteristically quiet, set up in a corner of the church on a table, which he had filled up with his stuff.
Not only did it have his pink laptop, which was covered in Japanese mascot stickers, but it had light lunchtime refreshments (small sandwiches and slightly alcoholic tea/beer-things), and various books scattered on the desk. He also had his phone hooked up to his laptop in order to function as a hot-spot.
The real reason he was here was that he had to work on a paper - and the books he needed...were not in the school library...but they were at the church. He had gotten permission to borrow them (a church would never say no to someone going "hey, lemme read your jesusbooks"). But he felt it'd probably better to work at the church, as opposed to forgetting to returning the "Jesusbooks".
Apparently, outside of his inability to follow rules, he was an exemplary enough student for the teachers to approve an "independent study" writing course, which meant that he had to submit a paper...somewhere, independently. In this case, a religious journal - and as a result, his desk was scattered with bookmarked Dietrich Bonhoeffer books, some of them in German. Sadly, Rui did not speak German, so he wasn't actually looking at those. Would be handy if he could. That being said, the paper was mostly done, so he was mostly flipping through the other books to make sure he had accurate citations.

| Albrecht had been out for a couple hours, he went for a walk and had decided to do some groceries too. He got his training out of the way early that day and didn't had much to do at the church. The others already had taken care of the chores, so he head free time for himself. He'd eventually return to the church, with two plastic bags in hand. The doors opened announcing his entrance, the place was empty at the time so he was to surprised to see someone inside right now. It was hard to miss the person with that gaudy electronic device.
"Hello, i did not expect to see you here." He turned his attention to Rui and took some steps towards the cyborg and waved. He had met this guy before, tried to get some help with math... which didn't lead anywhere but he appreciated that the literature club president took some time to try.
