| Persona Name: Asterion (Asterion I and Asterion II) Persona Type: Initial Persona Persona's Arcana: Star Owner: Adrian Blythe Persona Appearance: Asterion is a persona represented by two figures, standing side by side. These figures were given the same name, and are closely related to each other. The figure on the left is Asterion I. This figure is tall and gaunt, standing at 7 feet tall, with his skin being wrinkled and his age showing clearly. Asterion I is represented as he was before his death. An old king. He carries no weapon, and wears robes of a deep blue to represent the night sky over his kingdom. These robes hang loosely from his body, and are adorned with star cut pearls to represent the many stars in the sky. His crown is still on his head, shining as brightly as it did when he first was given it. This crown is adorned with small sapphires, rather than being purely sculpted gold in the shape of a circlet. This crown shines as a particularly bright symbol when compared to the long mass of gray hair that goes down to the knees of this figure. Asterion I is a very old man, with gnarled fingers and skin that would betray the age of a man on his deathbed. And yet..he seems to emanate this air of hope. Because of his age, however, Asterion I is only fit to use magic. This is where the figure on the right comes in. The second figure within Adrian's persona is the foster grandchild of Asterion I: Asterion II. A man also known as the Minotaur. There are many depictions of this figure. However, Asterion as a persona appears to be a far more controlled figure than the rest. Asterion takes on the appearance of an eight foot tall man, with the horns and legs of a bipedal bull. Set in the center of a wild mass of hair that is a dark blue--flecked with star shaped dots of white and gold--is the face of a man. This face is surprisingly average in its shape and appearance. The truly strange aspect of this face are its eyes, as they take on the same darkened appearance of the eyes of a bull. Coming out from this mass of hair are horns of pure gold, something that Asterion II owes to his true father, the Cretian Bull. Asterion II wears a crown as well. This crown however, is made of grain. The crown is dried and dead, and was a product of his time in the labyrinth. His upper body is that of a human as well. However, Asterios's skin is very pallid. This contrasts heavily with his well sculpted figure. However, his lower body is the interesting part. While he does stand on two legs..these legs are that of a bull, and take on the same coloration as that of his hair. Just like his horns however, his hooves are that of gold. This Asterion is armed, however. While his horns and hooves do make for potent weapons in their own right, he carries a massive weapon on his back. An axe with two heads. This weapon is taller than Asterion, and is incredibly heavy. As such, it is always used in two hands when swung. This makes Asterion II the physical damage dealing half of Adrian's persona. To represent his time as a prisoner of the Labyrinth, Asterion II has two very thick manacles on his arms, and two incredibly thick shackles on his ankles. These rings of iron are rusted..but there are still three chain links hanging from each of them. Each one of them is a gleaming, untarnished silver. When summoned, Asterion I stands behind Adrian and to his left, while Asterion II stands behind Adrian and to his right. This is represented by the mask that he wears. Half of this mask takes on the face of a simple man wearing a golden circlet, which covers up to the area just above Adrian's mouth, and covers most of the upper half of his face. The same can be said of the second half of this mask, which is the face of an iron bull, complete with a single horn jutting from the top of it. These two halves mesh together in a way that combines the refined with the beastly. And yet..the two sides of the mask seem at peace with each other, with the halves being shared in an equal manner. Adrian's Persona is an interesting one, Indeed. Persona Background: - Spoiler:
Just as Adrian's Persona is two figures, so is its background. Asterion I was the son of Tectamus and an unnamed Daughter of Cretheus. At some point, his father sailed to Crete with two tribes of ancient Greeks, and became ruler of the island. This man ruled the throne for some time before Asterion inherited the throne. His rule was marked by tragedy, but generosity. During the time of his rule, Europa was kidnapped by Zeus, who took on the form of the Cretian Bull. During this kidnapping, Europa produced three sons: Minos, who would later become a just king of Crete, and then a judge of the underworld, Rhadamanthus, a fellow judge of the underworld, and Sarpedon, who later became a king of Lycia. Many men would not have taken it upon themselves to be father to these bastard children. But Asterion did just that, raising these men as their stepfather. Eventually, Asterion I died childless. As such, Minos inherited the throne. Thus, his story ends.
However, Asterion II's story begins here. After Minos ascended the throne, he prayed to Poseidon for a sign of support, as he was competing with his brothers even after ascending the throne. This gift was a snow white bull with golden horns and hooves. This was the Cretian Bull. He was meant to kill the bull to show honor to Poseidon. However, Minos allowed the bull to live because of its beauty, and killed one of his own bulls instead. To punish him for this action, Poseidon cursed Minos's wife Pasiphae to fall in love with the bull.
With the assistance of Daedalus, she managed to mate with the bull. The result was Asterion II. In the stories, he was claimed to have nursed from Pasiphae until he grew and became ferocious, sating his hunger with the corpses of humans due to his unnatural birth. This caused Minos to seek guidance from the Oracle at Delphi. This led to Minos ordering the very same craftsman who assisted his wife in the process of birthing this creature to create a labyrinth to contain it. After a period of time, this Labyrinth was built, and Asterion was hidden away in its center.
Eventually, events led to Theseus agreeing to slay Asterion. The exact details that led up to this event conflict, but all lead to the same outcome. With the assistance of Ariadne and a ball of thread, Theseus found Asterion, and slew him. Thus ends the story of Asterion II.
These stories seem to share little in common, outside of the players. So why do these two pair themselves together? The reason is unknown. Strengths: Ice, Slash Weaknesses: Fire, Darkness Passive Boosts: - Quote :

Asterion I then raises his hands over his head, while Asterion II folds his hands in prayer. They then both crackle with electricity and disappear, only for the Cretian Bull to appear, wreathed in lightning. It then lets out a bellow and charges at an opponent, dealing T3 lightning damage. Type of Damage: Ice Description: When using Cretian Knives, Adrian creates a dagger made entirely out of ice. This dagger takes on a Grecian style, having a leaf style blade, and a very simple handle. This design allows it to be both effective as a melee weapon, and a ranged weapon. However, the true power of this ability lies in when it hits something. Upon making contact with this ability, the knife that is used releases enough of a chill to create T1 Ice damage, and has a 10% chance to activate the Frostbite ailment. Should the ailment be activated, this knife shatters.

Fusion Attack Name: The Divine Bull In The Labyrinth Persona Name: Asterion Type of Damage: Pierce/Slash Description: While Asterion is a persona made up of two beings sharing the same name, the fusion attack that this persona uses is something that focuses more heavily on Asterion II's history and lineage. When this skill is activated, the area around Adrian and his enemies shifts into that of an ancient maze, flanked on all sides by stone. Once this change occurs, Asterion I and Adrian himself seemingly fade into the shadows..only for Asterion II to step to the side, as Adrian comes charging down from the darkness, riding on the back of Asterion II's true father, The Divine Bull. Once Adrian charges through his enemies, he vanishes into the shadows behind them. This move is immediately followed up by a massive swing of Asterion II's double headed Axe, hitting all opponents for a combined total of T3 damage. Environmental shifting has a big load of advantages here and lies in the realm of Domains. And most often than not, it's meant to be a more passive-like effect rather than like an attack. Creating a domain like that in a huge area takes time to build. So it really wouldn't work like that. I'd probably just stick to a normal attack than creating a domain and don't worry. There'll be something out for your Psyche-Terrorists later about it. So for now you could just make it a normal attack with tier 2 slash and pierce damage. Or a tier 3 attack with only one element. Or if you want to do something else entirely. Cretian Knives: It's fine. But make SP at 8. And you have to keep paying that cost to keep the knife up per turn. Just FYI. | |

| Just be sure the Persona appears back after the attack is performed in PvP.
And the 8 SP per round is only for PvP. PvS, it's fine to treat it like a normal attack.
Otherwise, approved. | |
