| Little Tokyo could be an interesting place, with all sorts of little nooks and crannies filled with things you might not expect - if you just looked. The constant noise throughout the week from the daily festivals could rather grate, and to be honest, he had no clue at all how people could actually put it with it actually living there. God, Tomomi's life must be suffering dealing with it all the time.
Still. If you could deal with that, there were some interesting things to find.
Cecil looked around as he walked through the district, music filtering through his ears as it went from player to headphone to him. But even as you were looking around you, it could be surprising what you failed to see. Case in point - Cecil went down as his head crashed into someone else's, headphones clattering to the ground as he was struck by someone going all too fast without paying enough attention to the world around them as they did it. He let out a loud, pained groan as he tried to gather his faculties again, reaching for his headphones and hoping to all hell they weren't damaged.

| The lock clicked into place and Elodie stuffed the keys inside her pocket with a sigh. Her eyes turned skyward for a brief moment as she stood atop her shop's stoop. No rain this time to drench her on her way home; she should have been thankful, but something felt oddly amiss. Amber eyes tumbled downward, to the curb which now sat empty, and her mind skipped to the young man she'd run into not a few days prior. Her brows pulled together in thought as she stepped from the doorway and started along on her way. She wondered about him, who he was...
Chewing at the inside of her cheek, and lost to her thoughts, she barely took notice of the footsteps behind her as they approached. After all, it wasn't out of place on the sidewalk. Subconsciously, she slipped off to the side, giving whomever they were ample room to move around her, but even as she did, they still collided with her. A sharp gasp stole from her lips as she stumbled forward, only barely keeping herself from falling flat on her face, and a jarring pain undulated through her shoulder as something twisted at the joint.
Her bag!
Elodie's gut sank as her head snapped up, realization tearing through her, and caught the culprit's heels peeling away with her bag in hand. Aside from her keys, everything she ever carried with her was in it, and her heart faltered. Everything. A cry caught in the back of her throat, but nothing came out as she started after him, boots striking hard along the concrete. Nails bit deep into her palm as she pushed herself forward, willing her legs and feet to run faster, but he was still getting away from her.
Where she skirted others, careful not to push and wedge herself through, he made a straight beeline - forcing others out of his way. It worked well for him. Until it didn't. She nearly lost sight of him when he collided with someone, sending both of them to the ground in one awful blow. Elodie's steps staggered as she watched the collision and a hand flew to cover a silent gasp at her lips, but she didn't have long to stand around and watch. The culprit rolled over, hopped up, and was off running in a matter of seconds, leaving his victims well behind him.
Elodie stared after him, amber eyes wide as she looked from him to the one on the ground. She'd lose everything, but she couldn't just leave him there without making sure he was alright. Teeth tore at the inside of her cheek as she closed her eyes and took a wavering breath. It was nothing she couldn't get back, right? That's at least what she told herself as her eyes fluttered open and she started for the young man groaning on the ground.
She knelt carefully in front of him and picked up his fallen headphones before he could, but she was far more concerned about him than them. Brows furrowed ever so gently, she leaned forward and peered at him questioningly - expectantly - as she held out the headphones he reached for. Though no question rose from her lips, it was not missed in her eyes. They said it all: Was he alright?

| ...huh? Where...where did they go? He could have sworn they were there, but then they vanished from right in front of... No...no, they moved...someone picked them up. Motion, they moved, someone moved them...ugh, this didn't half hurt. Whoever'd hit them was going damn fast, and they hit hard when they crashed into him. He was stuck playing catch-up at this point while his head put itself back together. They ran off, and then...ah, there, someone was holding out his headphones.
With a pained smile that failed miserably to mask that he wasn't exactly alright, he pushed himself up and took his headphones from the girl's hand. "Ugh...th-thanks..." The look he was getting was lost in translation between the blow to the head and his normal issues, but the sound of his voice and the sluggish way he moved did well enough to say he was still reeling from the hit. His fingers ran over the headphones feeling for any issue, his touch easier to trust and faster to communicate than his sight right now, and he placed them back around his neck as he was satisfied there wasn't an issue. As he tries to get to his feet, one leg slips out from beneath him, twisting to one side to topple him once more.
