Encyclopedic knowledge (Marta / Tomomi)

Marta nodded at the boy's knowledge about where to find the books, which in all honesty greatly greatly outstripped Marta's knowledge about where to find the book. Yes, Marta obviously offered to help, but nowhere in his offer to help was it shown that Marta would actually be helpful. He would of course prefer to be helpful, but there was no guarantee in his actual abilities that one could reasonably make. So Marta in fact did not make any.

"I understand. I'm sorry I couldn't be of much more assistance. If you're ever in search of uh...I suppose we could say books more situated in my area of comfort...and situated farther away from the area of amphibians, feel free to reach out. I would be happy to help at any time. Have a fine day."

Marta gave a polite bow and decided to leave the library. He had already forgotten why he even went to the library, so he went to leave for a few minutes, at which point he would then remember why he came to the library and awkwardly come back to complete any errands.
