| The nights in a post-Divide world are both beautiful and dangerous. While some types of supernatural phenomena can occur during the daytime, most abilities are unavailable until the sun falls from the sky, the moon's rise heralding the time when Persona Users are able to access their powers fully and Demons emerge from the shadows to do as they please. Most civilians understand and fear this, but only those acquainted with the supernatural are able to grasp the finer details; Psyche Terrorists, Cadets, and all of their ilk understand almost instinctually that one type of night is more dangerous than all the others. And if something doesn't kill you...
- The moon cycle in Endymion can be monitored via the Event Calendar in the SNS section. Many changes occur during a Full Moon.
- No Demon will negotiate with you during a Full Moon. They become overwhelmed by emotions and instincts that prevent any meaningful discussions or compromises from taking place.
- All Demons will receive a 15% boost to Attack, Defense, and Agility. This increase in power is known as a "Full Moon boost" and it'll last throughout the entirety of the night. Attempting to dispell the Full Moon boost through Dekaja or similar means will automatically fail, however, other buffs and status effects can still be removed from the enemy as usual.
- Because of the Demons' general increase in strength and the mysterious effects of the Full Moon, there'll be a 30% increase to all experience gained from battles.
- A special kind of boss enemy will appear during Dungeon Dashes. Their position will be marked on the map and successfully defeating them may earn you a unique prize. Beware however: such struggles won't be a walk in the park.
- Chee's Demon Mask Fusions'll be riskier when conducted under a Full Moon, but will also be more rewarding. The chance of something going wrong will rise by 30% as will the probability of the Mask coming out better than expected; this means that there'll be 40% chance of astounding success and a 40% chance of outright failure. A great success can end up adding additional elemental Resistances to the Mask, increase its stat boosts, or immediately unlock skills on it that'd typically have to be earned through leveling up first. A failure does the opposite of these effects, but unlike Chee's normal Fusions this won't be the only risk: a failure on a Full Moon can potentially result in the creation of a completely different Mask!
- The Velvet Room and Masque of Red are completely safe from the effects of the Full Moon; time has little meaning in a place constantly drifting between dream and reality after all. As a result, the typical guarantee of a flawlessly fully realized Mask will come to fruition, but it'll also lack any capacity for the spontaneous and unexpected growth that Chee's Masks are capable of. In other words, no further risks but no further rewards either.
- Awakening topics and the Demons in them aren't affected by the Full Moon boost or the subsequent increase in experience.
