Where is the item worn?: Accessory

What does the item do?: While using this, Cecil is capable of covering for another person in an AoE attack, taking the hit in their place as per if it was a single target attack. Any damage taken from this is in addition to any damage Cecil would have normally taken from the attack, and not instead of their own damage.
They cannot protect more than one other person affected by any given attack.

When not engaged in PvS, Cecil may use his weapon as cover for himself and one person behind him. This does not make it any more effective as protection against Persona based assaults than it would otherwise be, but it does keep everyone using this cover safe from projectiles and other weapon based assaults while they are behind it.

What does the item look like?: While inactive, it simply appears as gold-engraved sections of cobalt metal affixed to the greatsword, with a section forming a handguard and another affixed the the blunt side of the blade.
Once active, these sections of cobalt expand out and wrap around the outside of the weapon, enlarging it and making it usable as an effective defensive barrier.

Weapon slot is only for soulbounds only. You can make this an accessory slot. So basically damage is stacked while taking the hit for someone else too in AoE. Sure.
