Appearance: A rather lithe individual, Tomomi struggles with a vitamin defect that leads to him appearing more pale than his peers. Standing at 5 feet and 6 inches, Tomomi often stands with a relaxed posture. His eyes are a light blue, and his hair is messy, black, and roughly 7 inches in length, his fringe leaning towards the right of his face but going across rather than down, seemingly perpetually windswept, or in constant bed head.

When in his school uniform, Tomomi wears a plain white, long sleeved shirt, the cuffs of the sleeves frilled somewhat. His school jacket, he wears slung over his shoulder, only putting it on properly at times when it is cold. He wears black trousers with a black belt, and on his feet usually uses walking boots that are black to blend in with his attire. Outside of his school uniform, he is somewhat the same, instead wearing jeans, with a normal jacket over his shoulder, and one of his own white shirts or, in some cases, a red t-shirt.

Alternate Appearance: When wearing the mask of his persona, Tomomi's appearance shifts so that his attire is, for lack of a better term, more eloquent. His shirt is similar to his normal school attire of a white long sleeve shirt, however over top of it is a white tabard that goes down to just below the knees, with red trimmings. Clipped over his left shoulder, Tomomi has a red cape that flows down behind him, a golden pin signifying the clip. Over his arms and legs, ribbons of varying colours are tied and stream down, flowing with his movements and each ending in a red tab.

In terms of his mask, it can probably best be described as being similar in shape to a bat: Covering from his nose to his forehead, the mask has two little "fang" like marks just above Tomomi's lips, with a single visor covering his eyes. The mask itself is white.

Personality: Perhaps one of the key things that can be determined from a glance about Tomomi is his anxiety - that is to say, if caught off guard, he can be as jumpy as a rabbit. This anxious and passive nature has led to him avoiding conflicts as much as he could physically, not really wishing to deal with things that would discomfort him and hoping to pretend they aren't anything to do with him.

Ironically, this fear contrasts with his desire for understanding. Due to the strange circumstances of the world, he wants to know more. To understand. To fight against his own fear, although that itself proves ever more unsuccessful from his fears. This place is his home, but is it right, is it honest? Fair? He doesn't know, and this game of morality only ever furthers his anxiety, thus leading to more pretending. After all, Endymion city was great, right? He could enjoy safety, as was advertised here...

To people he trusts and cares about, Tomomi is incredibly emotive - quick to cry, quick to talk, and more than happy to help out and provide assistance with anything he can do at a moments notice. In a way, this is his own naievety.

Weapon Description: Traditional Japanese farming tools, Kama are also found historically used as weapons. For Tomomi, this tends to imply taking two of them, with fine oaken handles and steel blades that curve for the purpose of harvesting crops. The blades themselves are 11 inches long, while the handles are 14 inches long, and 2 inches thick.

The Background

History: Originally from the Meguro ward of Tokyo, Tomomi lived what could be considered a relatively normal life at first. His two parents were together, they had a pet dog named Kyou, and lived in a small house in one of the residential areas. Working as translators, his parents would often travel in and out of the country and around generally, often leaving Tomomi with someone to look after him while they were away. But, one day, they decided against this. They had to go to America for a trip, and this time thought it would be a good opportunity for Tomomi to see what his parents did for a living, and to see the sights of the world outside of Japan.

They arranged for Kyou to be looked after, and booked a hotel for 3 weeks so that the trio could enjoy themselves in the time that they weren't working. Taking a plane to get there, the family left Japan by plane, and after a long flight, arrived in the American lands. The first week was wonderful, a normal holiday that would be imagined as a typical, cheerful day.

As luck would have it, this was when the event known as the Eternal Divide occured. The rest is a blur, whether out of shock or not understanding what had happened. Years passed, and Tomomi found himself not knowing what happened to his parents, forgetting entirely that he had a dog in the first place, and simply became another resident of the safe city - of Endymion. From there, he took up as much work picking up litter as he could to make ends meet, and got himself into a school. Of course, in a foreign country, the boy was never very open, going through years without making many friends - some years, none at all. He did, however, join the martial arts club one day, hoping that if he could master a martial art, or at least get decent at one, he might feel like less of an outsider.

His insecurities told him that it was the only way, and so he listened.

Reduced by 10%, right?

As for the rest of your strengths and weaknesses, ideally you should have equal amounts of strengths and weaknesses for combat and Social Qualities.

You can probably have your Bravery reduce half of how much courage you normally get. But you also need one more weakness regarding your Social Qualities. Maybe your charm/expression can be reduced too.

History: I'm okay with this. Looks okay so far. Very simple.

Yeah I don't have a problem with any of this. But fix the issues I addressed and after that, it should be it. Pretty rare to have a Lovers arcana, but I approve of it. Hit me up when you're ready. I will have another staff to take a look at it.

Seems alright to me, just one problem. You have three strengths to four weaknesses. If you want to add a strength or drop a weakness that's fine.
